Stay clear ,

Absolute fraud . You click on their advert showing and advertising a necklace and they send you a tiny child's bracelet and change the description. Terrible customer service.

The customer mistakenly ordered our Aurora bracelet instead of the Aurora necklace which they wanted. Despite their order receipt clearly showing an order for a bracelet and our website records showing a bracelet being ordered, they refused to accept this and accused us of fraud which simply isn't the case. The 10,000+ customers who ordered the Aurora necklace and received the Aurora necklace are proof of this.

We offered to exchange the bracelet for the necklace but the customer kept accusing us of fraud so we decided the best solution was to offer a full refund and have them keep the bracelet. We believe this to be an extremely fair resolution considering we had done nothing wrong, only sent the item that the customer ordered.

Coated in plastic

I bought two rings from magick, "black gold" ones. They came over a month later and in separate shipments even though I purchased them together. They looked just like the pictures, very nice at first. However, after wearing them for a day I noticed they're coated in plastic and this plastic was starting to flake off! I assume the plastic coating is to make them look shinier. Not exactly impressed but I guess they are still wearable.

Bad communication, suspected dropshipping

After seeing their adverts on Facebook, I purchased something in their "flash sale" (which over 2 weeks later was still going). They then sent me a 30% voucher, which needed to be used within 48 hours, and I ended up purchasing 2 more items in a seperate order.

The important thing is that all 3 of my items have now turned up and look as advertised, however I am fairly certain that they have been drop shipped from other companies. It had been about a week when I contacted them asking if they knew when my item would be dispatched, and received an email confirming my items had been dispatched within one working day. The order confirmation emails did not have any inovices numbers on, and the dispatch email did not list which items had been dispatched, so I contacted them again giving them details of which items were ordered on which dates and asking if both of my orders were all being shipped together. They said they were.

Earlier this week, I received just one of my items from my second order and contacted them again as I was expecting them all together, as per their previous email. They emailed back with "To speed up delivery times our products are stored at multiple fulfilment centres around the world, this means that orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately and arrive at slightly different times." I today received my first order and the last item from the second (both shipped from China). The oddest thing was that the first one I received arrived in a small red ring box. The two I received today came in a "Magick" bag, but they were individually wrapped in completely different plastic bags (think of one being like the sealable sort you would put a sandwich in, the other being like you might find on a mobile phone accessory, but obviously on a much smaller scale).

Although the items have turned up and I got what I paid for, I probably will not be using them again due to the communication issues, and because they were unable to confirm if or when items were shipped as requested, which does pose a worry for me.
