Unbelievable lack of communication

I bought a board from Magic Carpet Surfboards that uses JS Industries customer service for customer support and sales. I'm so so upset with these guys, honestly I cannot cope with the lack of communication. I ended up with a different board then what I bought and agreed later on. I bought a white board, suddenly it wasn't a 4week wait as mentioned online, it was a 6week wait, mind you that i had to be the one reaching out to find out about it.

I was told there was a coloured one onsite. And again i had to call to find out which colour they had, to speed things up. I specifically ask if its the one shown on the website, same model. I was told yes. The board arrived with a different colour and design. Made in Thailand instead made in Australia, so probably a different construction, which made me refuse it. I didn't trust its quality.

It was literally dumped on my doorstep, and arrived with a ding. The delivery service they use is terrible, and Magic Carpet won't take any responsibility if the board arrives dinged, they will tell you to sort it out with the freight company.

Planning the pick up of the board for return was just unreal. I found myself having to call the TWO freight companies involved, to try to arrange a pick up. My availability was pretty clear, yet the message was not getting to the drivers. No one would get back to me. They literally just rocked up at the house whenever.

To finish off, they were not going to refund me the initial shipping coast, as if this had been a change of mind...

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THESE GUYS
Either pick it up in person, or don't buy at all.

Terrible service and poor product.

Terrible service and poor product.
Website stated 1 to 2 weeks manufacturing. Product took 6 and they did not let me know any I repeatedly tried to contact them. Then there was shipping time on top of that. Product arrived with a crushed rail. I fixed myself as I was taking on a trip and already waited to long. When contacted the didn't seem to care and I recommended they pay for it. They supposed it would cost 50 to 100 dollars to fix. Maybe in 1993 but not these days.
Offered me 100 dollars.
Board was glassed so poorly it was covered in dents after 2 surfs. Do not buy from this company unless you want a poor quality product and lies about manufacturing time.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Don’t buy from these guys

I purchased a Magic carpet Hornet online. It was delivered damaged with a sizeable hole through the laminate and into the foam core. The packaging was crap, 1 thin layer of cardboard in the main box and 1 layer of bubble wrap.

I can understand it when boards get damaged during delivery but the real scam was Magic carpets customer service. When I approached them to discuss the damaged goods they ghosted me. Never got back to my emails, messenger msgs, Insta msgs plus they don’t have a phone number advertised to call on. I never got hold of anyone!! Real crap customer service!!

I highly recommend you DO NOT buy a surfboard from these guys. If you are lucky enough to get it delivered in one piece goodluck, if not you are screwed. Nobody is steering the ship at Magic Carpet. Probably just ran off a laptop at their factory in Thailand.

Pretty unhappy about the whole experience. Bad karma heading their way
