DO NOT TRUST ILHAY...
I had the worst experience of my life at the hands of unprofessional people.
I paid over €7000 for what I thought was breast implant removal and reconstructed uplift.. I never received the treatment that was expected. They removed the implants but absolutely no uplift in my opinion was performed. My breast look absolutely dreadful.
The surgery itself was horrendous! They messed up... something went wrong during surgery... I was taken down to theatre at 9am in the morning and arrived back in my room at 7pm... I felt absolutely awful 😖 and I was in terrible pain. At the IMED hospital in Elche, they were rude and unsupportive. I was left all night without anyone checking in on me, no buzzer given, nothing! I actually wet the bed because I wasn't able to get anyones attention, even though I shouted for help several times.
They promise you the world, come across so attentive but once they take your money, that's it...
I made a complaint and was seen back at the clinic, they refused to take any responsibility and fobbed me off, telling me that if I wasn't happy I could have it redone but at a further cost to me!
Definitely not recommend at all.

Do not go in to this horrible thing. They charge you money without letting you know! My membership was done on 2023 and they recharge me 120$ without telling me. Go find another app and let this company die.

I’ve gone back and forth between this app and my fitness pal. I like both but prefer my fitness pal. They have more accommodations for the same general price BUT macrostax sent me an email offering a promotion price and I thought with that it might be worth customizing the meals since many are not programmed in (as much as MFP). It takes a bit to dial in where your needs. The first time I used MS I was power strength training in most of my routine. When I went back I was running more than anything else. The calculations to my needs were generic. What I would burn in strength with the same amount of time in exercise as running was vastly different. With that being said, it can still be a great tool to pay attention to your own patterns.

I enjoyed anytime I did speak to customer service except when I became pregnant. I requested a hold on the app as I wouldn’t be calculated or distracted by numbers while ensuring my focus on growing a healthy baby. I did not want to cancel nor want any money back, simply suspend the account so I could use it when I was not pregnant. I wanted to be sure to get through at-least the first trimester safely without tracking. The customer rep seemed to not even care to entertain the thought for a second. The first time she was ever rude and messaged me even though I’m pregnant I could still track and also that she checked my account and since I paid for a year with a discount added she would not give me a partial re-imbursement, which I never asked for! I see from the reviews above maybe she was bitter from so many others asking for refunds though I did not.

It would be a nice suggestion to have the option to suspend the account through different seasons such as this. I thought this app was geared towards coming alongside women in fitness specifically but I could be wrong.

Shiftiest organisation ever when it comes to renewals. No reminders whatsoever, then charge large sums to you card and say it’s your fault because this happening is buried in the terms and conditions and that you are expected to remember. Clearly most people will forget and get caught out by this. Sign up at your peril, but put a reminder in your calendar to cancel with plenty of time.

Have been using this app for 5 weeks now and for the first time in several years of “dieting” am finally loosing some weight!
I find the app easy yo use. The recipes are great and I can’t count how many I’ve tried so far.
Counting macros can be tedious, I’m hoping to eventually have a better idea of what certain meals contain so I
don’t have to be so rigorous about it.
I signed up with a holiday deal for half price for a full year, and will definitely get my money worth!

BEWARE!!! Terrible company. Here is my experience:

I signed up and I remember there was an app that wasn’t found in an App Store, you had to manually go to their site and download and then bookmark it.

After a few months, I decided to cancel. I’m admittedly not great at combing through my bank charges and didn’t notice the charges were still happening for almost a year later. I tried to go into the app to get proof of cancellation but there was a message in the landing page saying it was no longer active and there was a new app that needed to be downloaded at the App Store. I didn’t want to do that in case it was some scam so I googled the company and found no phone number but there was an email. I emailed and get this- they said I never cancelled and there was nothing I could do. They said I needed to download the app and log in and then cancel from there. I asked to speak to someone and they said there was no phone number. There was no way for me to find the cancellation because the old app was defunct. I might actually have to contact my bank now and go through that whole process of cancelling my card because of their shady business practices.

I had to give 1 star, as I couldn't give no star.

The app is extremely hard to use, can not find food. It's a guessing game to find actual real food to be able to log. The app is cumbersome to use not only do you have to log what you eat, you have to check the box to say you've eaten it - what?

Maybe this works well for someone who already follows macros but not for a newbie and someone who is looking to learn.

DON'T DO IT! Completely and utterly useless. They promise a macro nutrient breakdown and all you get is a calorie count (not even a broken down list of fat, carb, protein) and an app to log your food - which you can get for free from at least 5 other sites. I had read reviews that stated this and I was a fool to think I would find differently - I did not. Then, their "policy" is not to provide a refund. So they deceptively advertise they'll give you one thing, not provide it, and then have a 'policy' that says they won't give you a refund. Buyer beware - scam, scam, scam!

I cancelled Macrostax, actually never used it, and have been charged 2 years in a row without consent. This should not be happening. I reached out to customer service and have not heard back.

Do not use this app. They will auto renew your subscription without your permission for more than twice what you paid and then refuse to refund your money. SCAM!!!!!!!!

My wife is the fittest person that I know. She used this app to count her macros and lose the few pounds that she thought she had gained. For motivation, she entered some contest they were having and submitted her story. Her before and after pictures looked fairly the same because she doesn’t have any fat to lose as she is a marathon runner and weighs under 100# at 5’2”. She liked the app and counted her macros and was happy doing that. What ticked me off was they posted her after picture and some BS story about how she used to weigh a ton and lost all this weight thanks to Macrostax’s program. I wouldn’t have an issue with their product until they flat out lied and used my Wife’s hard work of being a competitive runner her whole life as their marketing scheme and took credit for it. And she didn’t even win the contest (which I figured she wouldn’t because she didn’t even need to be in it in the first place.) Now I’m pretty sure this company is a SCAM. Like others have said, look elsewhere for your macro requirements on the internet for free and save your hard earned money. You don’t need these clowns.

If there was an option for zero stars I would give it zero. As others have said , total SCAM. I contacted them after first signing up and they said they don't offer refunds but would cancel after 12 months. I didn't use the app at all as there are so many foods missing its impossible to track anything. 12 months later get charged again for another 12 months. Do not sign up under any circumstances, not worth it.

Not good value for the dollar even for a program in development.
My experience with customer support unlike others however, has been positive. The variables for losing weight on this type of platform is challenging (user's drive, the food data and macro-program). The database is not fulsome specifically for Canadian users. The macro-balance is doable for me but.... I haven't lost any weight or 'inches'. I have 320 days left in my annual subscription so we'll see if the pendulum swings.
Cancelling a subscription is super easy so I'm not sure how others were not able to.

SCAM!!! They charge you without authorization for renewal. They don’t prorate cancellation either. You get billed for a whole year without notice.

My experience has always been incredible! If I had things come up where I needed to cancel I did so without issue. For me the app is amazing… I love that if I have a craving like fast food I can input and still hit my numbers despite a craving. Each time I get on here within a week I see noticeable results. This is literally my most favorite app. I have siblings and none of them liked the layout of the app and choose not to use it but for me I’m a lifer. Especially since I hate having to calculate macros and food.
Never experienced bad billing issues or customer service issues — nothing but love for my stax.

Doesn’t do anything a free app can’t do. Not worth the money.

Does not offer refunds after autorenewing. We did not get a reminder or anything saying it was time to renew. Only reason I knew it did was I saw the charge go thru. Doesn't come with an app and is web based. Could be so much better but they haven't changed anything in the last year.

I have been using Macrostax for about 2 months and I'm very happy with their web app. You enter your info and they build a custom macro plan for your body type, your goals and according to your activity level. When you see that you have lost enough on "fatloss" plan, you can then switch to muscle gain plans. They have an extensive database of foods and recipes to add to your daily logs. They even have a "fill macros" option to find food whose macros match what you have left for the day. Their facebook community is super helpful with answers for newbies and food and recipe ideas. I have lost about 6 lbs in two months and more importantly, I feel great and my midsection has gotten a lot tighter since using the app. I eat anything I want as long as they fit in my macros. I can't recommend it enough. Logging everything to hit the numbers is a little work, but nothing worth having is easy. Most people complaining here sound like they didn't want to do the work. Billed me two years in a row without notice. They wouldn’t even give me a complete refund. The only reason I noticed was because it showed up in my statement. There are better alternatives than this app so if you value your money look elsewhere.
