Spilt coffee on my 2020 MacBook Pro resulting in loss of trackpad and keyboard. Drove over to Mac Upgrades and left the computer with them to take apart and assess the damage, which they did quickly. Trackpad was replaced and machine returned to me at a reasonable price. I'd recommend these guys for all Mac problems, they'll get you out of trouble!

What an amazing service!! Really fast and reliable firm. They resoldered a microchip on my MacBook Pro with retina display mid 2012 motherboard. No issues at all with the work. They shipped the laptop back within two days. My laptop was barely working and it is now fully functional again. Best repair service for MacBooks I have dealt with

I consider the Mac/PC upgrade/repair market to be a bit of a minefield. You never know what company you are sending your laptop/desktop to and if they will provide a genuine, honest, and reliable service. Look no further than Mac Upgrades. I did a a fair bit of research on the company before sending my MacBook Pro in, and found them to be very knowledgeable and professional over the phone. My laptop was dispatched via courier service and I received it back, following an SSD and RAM upgrade, within 3 working days. Fantastic service.

Was the upgrade worth it? Every penny. I had a 500GB HD drive and 4GB of RAM, supplied as standard with my 2010 laptop. The addition of a 1TB SSD and maximum of 8GB RAM has made the laptop like lightening. At just over £400 for the upgrade, compared to £2,500 for a new MacBook Pro equivalent, I couldn't be happier. Just a minor compromise on my side, however, due to the fact Apple solder the GPU to the logic board and that couldn't be upgraded.

Whilst upgrading girlfriend's older 15" MacBook Pro, I tried to get hold of new battery as part of the upgrade and after several attempts to buy cheaper versions from China on Ebay, all I received were fakes and faulty units resulting in frustration and wasted money.

Don't bother! Go directly to the pros like Mac Upgrade ltd. Outstanding service, quality goods, superfast communication and deliveries.

They have even gone the extra mile for me when I ordered the incorrect size followed by immediate dispatch of the correct one without additional postage.

I would have no hesitations to recommend Mac Upgrade Ltd. to anyone.

I ordered a replacement SSD for a Macbook Air.
Unfortunately it was an OWC SSD which are known to have production issues. The drive I received was one with these issues but Mac Upgrades customer support promptly sent me a replacement.
I couldn't be happier with the service! Fast, reliable and very customer/friendly!

I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro and it was starting to limp along; spinning beach-balls, behaving erratically etc.

I had read on the various forums of the benefits of upgrading to a SSD and that one other possibility was to remove the unused optical drive and add to the SSD with my existing HDD. Research led me to investigating OWC products, particularly with my Macbook running at SATA 2.

I googled OWC Uk and found the Mac Upgrade site. I could see that they offered an installation service and with me travelling to London on business over the next few days, a price was agreed and I met with Johnny (Jonathan) Clarke and handed him Macbook for upgrade, with the plan being to retrieve it the next day.

Johnny emailed me that night with a progress update, kindly including photos of the progress he was making. The next morning another email arrived informing that the work was complete and that we could meet at any time after 10.00am, he also included screen shots of the disk speed improvements. We met around lunchtime and we went through the changes that he had made. I was suitably impressed.

My laptop is noticeably faster, quieter and feels just like it did on the day I bought it.

The improvements that have been made are matched by the level of service I was given.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company, it's installation service and in particular, Johnny Clarke to you.

I was looking for Other World Computing upgrade parts for my Mac Mini and despite not having them on their website the team at Mac Upgrade were able to source them for me quickly. Communication was excellent. Recommended.

I must say out of everyone I have spoken to about upgrading my MacBookPro, Mac Upgrade have been amazing. They have super knowledge of all the products and Macs. Even helped me find parts that weren't easily available. I'll definitely be coming back! Thank you!

WOW, what can I say about this company, I stumbled across them after a Google search and found their pricing on the particular item I was looking for to be as good if not better than other suppliers, they also had everything in stock which pleased me no end. And the icing on the cake was the amazing next day delivery service even though it was getting late when I ordered.
I spoke with them on a few different questions prior to the purchase and was really pleased all round.
I would highly recommend and will be looking to use them again.

I ordered 16gb of ram for my 2011 MBP on Friday, an it arrived by 9am on Daturday as promised!

The team even noticed a problem with the ram slated to be shipped to me. They contacted me to authorize a substitution (actually a slight upgrade at no charge) and were still able to get the product to me in less than 24hrs.

I highly recommend Mac-Upgrades and will be purchasing from them again soon!

Used Macupgrade for both an iMac and Mac mini upgrade of RAM and switch to SSD. The service was impeccable with fast collection and delivery within a day (I needed the computer back for work and they were able to accommodate). The result is both computers running without the spinning beach ball which has caused me to pull my hair out over the past year. I would highly recommend the switch to SSD as well as using Macupgrade to do the work!!

I bought an SSD for my 2008 MacBook Pro and it has really brought the Mac back to life. The live chat was very useful as I wanted advice on what tools I would need. Ordered it on Wednesday around 3pm and had it Thursday morning! Great website!

Also I should say that the staff are very communicative and responded to my emails and messages almost immediately. They made me feel as if they truly cared about me as a customer!
