Still Waiting for Certification
I have completed a Level 7 Occupational Health and Safety Course in July 2025 and it is now the 12th December and I still have not received my certification. Emails do not get responded to, I have called the office and have been told they will pass a message on to the team at 9am - no one to actually speak to. My employer is concerned and I am concerned this certification will not arrive. Its a really poor service. The portal is very poor and basic, you cant talk to other people on the course, when you ask for help you have to speak to someone in another country days after your initial request. My over all experience has not been a good one- compared to a NEBOSH course I wouldnt recommend. All I want is my certification to arrive and confirmation I am going to get it.

I researched many online schools before enrolling in a program at LSBR, and as a university professor in Benin, Africa, I am very satisfied with LSBR. It's a leading online school that I find excellent and ideal for achieving the dreams of anyone who aspires to boost their career through professional certifications or top-level degrees. I'm African from Benin and have held engineering and doctoral degrees since 1995 (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, but I have now successfully obtained about ten certifications at LSBR. A waste of money and time
THIS IS A SCAM. And a waste of money and time. The “course” is just a series of summary PDFs, with a couple of videos (that don’t work) thrown in at random intervals (i.e never coinciding with what you are learning about). The course dashboard is really frustrating to use. It never remembers where I am in the course, but instead takes me all the way to the quiz at the end. I have to scroll back through 40 pages just to get to where I was. I have contacted admissions about this twice over the past week, but no one replies. Don’t waste your time and money.

I have studied with LSBR a Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I have waited for my certificate for 5 months and haven't yet received it.

I passed but would never use LSBR again
Having now completed the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Business Management, I feel able to leave an honest review without fear of it negatively impacting on my course.
I enrolled on the course in November 2023. On 13 November 2023 I attempted to begin the course, but found I was unable to access the materials and emailed LSBR, having been unable to reach them by phone. I never received a response to my email. Fortunately, the issue appeared to resolve itself, and in January 2024 I was able to begin my course. At this point I was surprised to find that, despite being described as a LMS, I was merely provided with a list of links to read (many of which did not work, or led to sites that required additional payment) and there was to be no contact with a tutor. In fact when I requested course materials that, according to the assignment submission guidelines, was to be supplied by a tutor, I was told “The learner can select any organisation based on UK for the same”.
Nonetheless, I managed to pass 5 out of the 6 units without issue. However, my assignment for the unit The Management of Human Resources was rejected twice, the second time with the additional feedback that I should use “proper numbering”! After requesting more descriptive feedback from the assessor without success I requested a phone call. I was contacted via WhatsApp with the message “Hi. ur assessor from london school. if u r free we can talk” - which obviously did not fill me with confidence. After confirming I was free, I then received a WhatsApp phone call by someone who gave their name as Natasha. Communication with Natahsa was not easy as she had a very strong Indian accent, the line was bad, and her child was screaming and shouting in the background throughout the entire duration of the call. Despite this I managed to establish that this assessor had requirements that went beyond those set out in the assignment submission guidelines provided, and on the third attempt I was able to pass the unit.
Whilst I am pleased to have achieved the qualification, my experience with LSBR has been disappointing due to poor communication and a lack of professionalism and if I had been aware from the outset that (despite the name) LSBR was not a UK based organisation, I may have chosen an alternative training provider.

With respect to your concerns about assessor feedback, we understand the importance of clear and constructive guidance. While our assessors follow standardised evaluation criteria, we recognise that communication plays a key role in a learner’s success. We sincerely regret if the feedback provided to you lacked clarity and are taking steps to improve the consistency and professionalism of our assessment support.
Furthermore, we acknowledge your concerns regarding the call with our assessor. We strive to provide a professional and supportive environment for all learners, and we apologise if the experience did not reflect our usual standards.
