Went to Lidl in Loughborough

Went to Lidl in Loughborough
Looking for a product couldn’t find it so I askeda member of staff,
Upon asking her, she said we don’t sell that, I replied well yes you do. I’ve seen them in although Lidl‘s.
She turned around and said well I don’t know where it is then and just walked off,
Nice customer service
No, I don’t know where it is but I’ll go and ask, no just be rude and Walker off I looked to see if she had a name badge but she didn’t so I said what’s your name she said I don’t have to tell you that which is fair enough I guess you don’t that’s why you don’t have a name badge so you can be as rude as you please and obviously I would imagine Lidl will do nothing about it so there’s no point in complaining
Especially when you look at these other reviews clearly they don’t give a monkeys

Did a shop here today as I have done…

Did a shop here today as I have done since I moved to the area over two years ago. Having qued at till one with a member off staff being quite a abrupt saying if you are paying by card use the self checkouts only till one is for large trolleys and cash only. If this is the case I will shop elsewhere. I think you should still have a choice if you do not like self checkouts.

Lidl points, have no apparent point.

Lidl have a points based system to encourage visits, but having only used the app twice i note my points disappear without reason. Bottom line, dont bother with their APP because points means nought. I've used Lidil about 6-9 times over the last 2 years. Their merchandising of the shop is as random as a dog with two tails. They (within themselves) might know what they are doing but for the general public its odd at best.

Visited this store aa corude staffuple of days…

Visited this store aa couple of days ago. Once again the staff always talking amongst themselves whilst serving me, making nasty comments about the customers. Appalling behaviour representing Lidl. The car park has only 6 spaces with pot holes all over, filthy. The side ally to get to the parking always has drug users dealing or using. It is also used as a toilet.

Overcharged for my shopping by checkout…

Overcharged for my shopping by checkout staff at Tunbridge Wells store. I noticed when I checked the receipt after I paid what seemed to be a hefty transaction for what I bought… sure enough I had been charged for extra items I had not received or wanted.
The checkout woman, without offering apology, proceeded with her assistant manager to refund the £38 odd back onto my debit card.
However, the money did not go back into my account, just left ‘pending’ on the details. This had left me very short of cash in my account and it wasn’t my mistake made in the first place.
The assistant manager was called back as I requested to the checkout woman, when he finally ambled his way over- he told me the money will be in my account, but could take 24 hours… THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH ! it is MY money Lidl , and your staff made the mistake.. I don’t need Paul , the under manager , to placate me … if I took £38 from Lidl it would be theft, but you effectively took my money and I have yet to get it back

Shocking treatment from ‘manager’

Appalling treatment beyond inhumane at @LidlGB Peckham today. Accused of stealing a 45p bottle of water while checking my blood sugar as a Type 1 diabetic. A woman claiming to be the manager laughed at my condition and had security remove me. Loyal customer since 2009. Unacceptable.

Every week I shop at Lidl in Gosport

Every week I do part of my shopping at Lidl in Gosport. On average I spend £75 each time. I very rarely say yes to get a receipt because I have Lidl plus and it shows on there my purchases and it saves on wasting paper.

Last week I bought some lamb chops which I have purchased before and they were good and tasty. However the ones I purchased last week were not. Two days after purchase (they were still in date) but when I opened them, they were smelling really bad and were not fit for human consumption!!

So, …….This week when I went to Lidl at Gosport I asked to speak to the manager and explained what had happened and I was told that I’ve left it too late to complain about it, I replied but I only come here once a week, (I am an old age pensioner) and that it will be shown on my Lidl plus account he said he could not access my Lidl plus and that he could not do anything about it at the store and I should call Customer Service so I asked for the number.

He then replied. “I can give you the number but you can just get it as you leave the store as there is a big poster with a number on it”! So I believed what he said.

However as I left the store there is no big poster with any number on it and just a QR code that I could scan for customer care. So I scanned it and then all you get is a virtual assistant who doesn’t reply to you. I tried about three times to complain, but simply got no response whatsoever.

I am absolutely disgusted and flabbergasted how they can sell bad rotten food products that is not fit for human consumption and have no answer for it, shame on you Lidl taking peoples money and when something isn’t right turning your back and washing your hands of that situation especially that manager at the Gosport store.

When I know look at Lidl‘s and think about shopping there, I view it with distain and utter contempt.

I am loyal customer to Lidl Hounslow…

I am loyal customer to Lidl Hounslow since it was opened and I regularly visit to buy quality products reasonable prices but not everything. I have never leave reviews on any platforms whether I am happy or unhappy with the product but today it made me to leave a review because of the store manager CHAN attitude towards me today 22/10/2026 at 15:35 at Hounslow. I picked up an olive oil from a shelf I thought it was £3.99 but when I scanned it showed me £6.49 when I informed this to the lady who politely serving the customer she informed this to the frustrated manager who had laughed and ignorant. I want the CCTV footage to be reviewed and take appropriate action towards this kind of unacceptable behavior workers. I own my own business but I never mistreated anyone that was the reason I can’t accept this behavior and I am seriously felt shame when it happened to me in front of his staff. When I questioned the lady who is he, she replied that he is her boss but I said he’s not my boss to react in such manner.

Extremely rude staff member at Lidl Wembley Park – we left without shopping

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Lidl Wembley Park today.

My family and I were trying to buy some food when an employee named James asked us to move because he needed to get through a narrow passage.

While we completely understand that staff need to move around the store, the aisles were so cramped and poorly organised that it was practically impossible to browse the products without being in someone’s way.

Instead of showing a little patience and understanding, James became incredibly rude, disrespectful and confrontational. His attitude made us feel like we were an inconvenience simply for being customers trying to shop.

The situation became so unpleasant that we eventually decided to leave the store without buying anything.

If Lidl chooses to arrange its products and aisles in such a cramped way, customers should not be treated badly for simply trying to shop. A little courtesy and basic respect would have made all the difference.

I’ve submitted a formal complaint to Lidl’s customer service and hope that management takes this seriously.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. We came to buy food, not to be made to feel unwelcome. Very disappointing, Lidl.

Watch out—this wine (cotes du rhonei villages)is not £6.59,but it’s £7.69. As usual, Lidl places items under a low price tag to trick the customer, only for the price to be £1 (or more) higher when you get to the checkout. Absolutely 👎👎👎....!Lidl puts products that it fails to sell under the wrong price tags; then, when you get to the checkout, the price is always higher. This is a new tactic to take the piss out of the customer.!!

Called into our local Lidl store this…

Called into our local Lidl store this morning and at least one female member of staff needs a lesson in manners, Lidl didn't have the product we needed and we politely asked the broken speaking British employee could scan the gate to allow us exit were you produce your receipt, it replied ( haven't got one, queue at the till and just walked off ) no manners whatsoever, our family won't be shopping at that particular store no more, I thought better of Lidl but with an ill mannered employee I'd like to know how she is employed at that store, I'd give you Zero ratings if I could.
