I was impressed with the variety and pricing of the fresh fruit and vegetables. However I bought a bottle of Baxters baby beetroot 2 days ago. When I ate the beetroot today it was very soft, lac... See more

My mum 80 years old parked in Lidl…
My mum 80 years old parked in Lidl Leagrave Luton, as there was no disabled parking spot she drove 30 meters away.
After a week we received a fine for £90 for taking 65 minutes to shop maximum was 60 minutes.
It to my mum 10 minutes extra to park car and walk slowly to shop.
Call Parkingeye to object and no reply. Then called Lidl and not any better .
Waiting for a court date now to object and no.
Don’t shop at Lidl.
Appalling situation at Brighton Lidl
Appalling situation at Brighton Lidl, Arundel Road branch. Over half the self service checkouts not working and only two tills on. People, including myself, walking out in their droves abandoning their purchases. Get it sorted Lidl
Just been scammed
Just been scammed. Bought 6 figs which were reduced to 35p each. Only when I checked my receipt I found they had been charged at 70p. When I queried it, a member of staff said I had been charged more because I didn't have their loyalty app. How many other items have i been overcharged for? Lidl dont offer discounts for card members, they penalise and scam those who don't agree to data rape. Lidl NEVER sell figs at 70p each.
Bad service
Just tried to use their customer form, does not allow me to send it even though filled in all sections, tried the ai never got a response that my information about a member of staff, wanted to make them aware. Bad service bad website. Won’t bother to shop there much now.
If you don’t use their bags, they think you’re a criminal
When I go food shopping I always have my headphones on as an autistic individual I use these to avoid awkward conversations so I can buy the items I need without any interruptions for myself or the staff. However today, as I put an item in my rucksack which I have done for the past 5 years shopping at Lidl as I didn’t have enough room in my shopping bag, a woman with long black hair rudely confronted me and told me to put it in the shopping bag despite the fact that there clearly wasn’t enough room and demanded I get a blue basket instead, which I feel uncomfortable using as it causes an obstruction to others and said I would be accused of stealing if I refused to do so despite the fact I had an open bag of shopping as well as the fact that there are scanners as you leave the shop that identify any items that are unpaid for. This woman made me feel like a criminal and that is not what I want to experience when doing my weekly shop. Therefore, I will not be shopping at Lidl again unless I am reassured that I can shop in a way that is inclusive and where I am not unnecessarily abused by staff. Lidl in Tring clearly isn’t a place for people with disabilities to shop comfortably based on my experience.
We went to 2 other stores but couldn't find them
We went to our 2 local supermarkets, someone who is ordering must be missing loads off , no Nescafé Gold blend Coffee, Dog Meat Sticks, other Treats,, Space Runners Ice Lollies, plus a lot more lines which aren't available in other stores. This store is getting worse
We were using the Self Checkout at…
We were using the Self Checkout at Stockton on Tees store and the scale reached the maximum limit ,then the store manager told us to put the heavy products in the trolley and he went to help other people. Meanwhile we had another problem with the scale and another store staff came to help us. Her name was Asme and she started to question why we have those products in the trolley. We explained to her and she started to be rude shouting that is her job, while she was stalling. Then started to cal my wife stupid many times, shouting to my wife and even her coworker from another till shouted at my wife to calm down. Instead of deescalating the problem, they made it worse. Then we ask for the store manager and instead of doing something he said that he only heard the last part of the conversation but he was like 10 feet away so he heard all of it. We were shocked of the staff attitude,so rude.... Something must be done so that in the future to prevent things like that happening again. Also tried to do a complaint on the website but couldn't do it

A formal complaint has gone in regarding blackmailing myself for mobile number that's not mandorty. Regarding the staff at Stanningley Leeds store asking personal questions that were inappropriate.
A formal complaint has gone in regarding blackmailing myself for mobile number that's not mandorty. Regarding the staff at Stanningley Leeds store asking personal questions that were inappropriate.
Dear Solicitor's at Lidl
A formal complaint not feedback regarding the female shop assistant at Stanningley Leeds store that was more interested in finding out information regarding what job and Salary a customer was on not to check the bar code/QR code. Disapline not feedback especially as Lidl employers a lot of younger staff that can't do their jobs. So would be in breach of The Equality Act 2010. Finding out information that is not really part of the job phishing a breach of UK GDPR Legislation 2018. Blackmailing by Janine before regarding I need your mobile number when not mandorty. Then Yvonne stated it's feedback not but a complaint. Card number for compensation.
I bought a loaf of bread that had a 50%discount on it with a QR Code that has gone through OK previously this time not.
Till number 4 had a red light on but she looked bored was closed but just serving another customer.
So went to the next till another female shop assistant.
I heard her chatting that is not chatting but obtaining personal information that is not going to get used what's your job and Salary? That is not chatting at all but if that information is used for illegal purposes then would be a breach of UK GDPR Legislation 2018. Also Fraud by that person.
Now I'm not interested in having a belittling chat with any of your staff at Lidl.
Especially as the guy still is at that store that I received sexual harassment (comments) from calling myself "love" four times when didn't to other customers.
It's a well known fact that Lidl has been to employment tribunals regarding conduct of staff that breaches The Equality Act 2010.
I got the bread reduced to the 74p on that load not £1.49 at it had gone through.
I asked for my recepit "I will be having my recepit " want it is not asking if your staff don't understand then shouldn't be working at that store.
When there are millions out of work not just the younger but people over the age of 24 even more mature people.
If I'm able to a review will go on Trustpilot regarding my experience.
As a person with managerial experience it's not feedback but a formal complaint regarding staffs attitude.
While I was waiting the female shop assistant told a man with a boy that till number 4 was opening up after I went it was closed. The same shop assistant that I spoke to went to that till again. So wasn't any point in closing the till in the first place when there was a queue of customer's including myself.

Stroud staff are unkind
Stroud staff are unkind. They advertise toilets but block them with pallets. They are dis respectful and answer back by saying "we dont have to provide toilets". When they should have said: " Sorry for any inconvenienced caused i hope you are ok and we will put a temporary out of order sign at the front of the store andxat the back where the toilet is situated and i hope you can carry on with your shop with your husband. No this is impossible. Do you know why? Because we are looked upon and treated like cattle. So i acted like cattle and said i was going to pee myself on the shop floor to get help. You just want our money and that woman did not need to be unkind when i used the warehouse toilets. Lidl get your act togeather we are humans if you put signs up believe it or not some of us can read. Lack of customer service headsets not used. Rude staff. Treated like cattle literally. Not nice take some lessons in Manners please!
I have been shopping in my local Lidl…
I have been shopping in my local Lidl (Warren Street, London) for approximatley 1.5 years, but never again. I put my shopping in my bag paid for it and a security guard started searching my bags with no verbal request, he was shart fa man of greasy skin, I had nto stolen anything nor made any checking out errors an he had no reason to search my bagsa. He did nor wait till U had left the shop and had even saw me pay. In other words it was false imprisonment. I demanded ot see the manager but got a floor walker and demanded an apology for wasting my time and to be shown the person who had accused me of thievery. It was not forth comming, then I demanded the name of my assailant that was not forth comming, I tried to get his name form his badge, he covered it up. So I demanded a full refund which was paid after about 5 minutes. I@ made a caffuffle to deter other shoppers from being subjected to this indignity.. So Lidl bye bye hope you go bankrupt is this is how you treat loyal customers, you just lost a few thousand pounds.

Disappointing Customer Service at the…
Disappointing Customer Service at the Checkout at Laindon
I was very disappointed with the customer service I received at the checkout last night, at around 9pm.
I was the only customer at the checkout. I was trying to find a £10 note but couldn’t, so I handed the cashier a £20 note instead. She grabbed the money from my hand in a very rude and aggressive manner, which I found disrespectful and upsetting.
I politely asked why she had treated me that way, but rather than apologising, she responded, “What did I do? I didn’t do anything,” and continued to give me a very rude attitude and facial expressions.
I have been a regular customer and do not expect to be treated this way. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management will look into this incident and address the way customers are treated at the checkout.

I shop regularly at Lidl Standish the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Great service today from Rhdick think l have miss spelled his name was really happy and helpful
Customer service is very
Customer service is very, very frustrating, pretty much 1 reply a week! Bought an electrical item in-store where the box was empty (I'm guessing due to theft) the lidl staff went into the back to get and box the item, I got home and it's a different item to what it should be, a lidl brand but not the same item, and not one that is on sale that I can see on the App.
So contacted CS who took 5 days to reply, asked me for pictures and model numbers etc, sent in, 5 days later the reply was less than satisfactory, you guessed I replied back 4 days ago, and nothing, weekend is here so he next week.
Do Lidl have just 1 or 2 customer service for the UK? Or are complaints more than the CS can handle?
I note something similar happened to a very well known YouTuber.
Safe to say, I'll be moving away from this company, I'd rather pay a few pence more per item and get good CS.
Lidl's Newgate brand noodle pot, YUK
I decided to try Lidl's Newgate brand Hoisin Duck flavour Cantonese style noodle pot. At about half the price of more premium brands I thought I'd give it a go. Just dried noodles in the pot, no sachets of flavouring or added ingredients. It was absolutely awful. I even tried to rescue it with some roasted garlic, an a litle bit ofsesame oil, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Still awful. It's not about the money, it was cheap. It's about selling something that bears no relation to what they are describing it as, or anything much at all for that matter!
Blamed me for shoplifting… not sure on…
Blamed me for shoplifting… not sure on the date as this has been said to me on a few occasions by one of your colleagues called Paul benson - he is soo rude and arrogant he needs to stop asking personal questions and think I’m this person - the reason I know his name is a young girl called Donna helped me with his name and I’m sorry if I got the wrong date but it’s the truth.. deal with this nasty and rude person

I visited today and 25p was added to my bill for a charity donation I never agreed to. I didn't have my glasses on — couldn't see the screen properly — and before I knew it, it was charged.
It's not about the 25p. It's about the principle:
• The option is tiny, right at the end, easy to press by mistake
• I didn't choose it — it got added without clear consent
• Your money, your choice — or at least it should be
If I want to donate, I will. I'll pick who and when. Please make these options big, clear, and truly opt-in — don't catch people out when they're rushing or can't see well.
