Had Potential

I got some helpful answers for my first question, then no responses after. I thought this was a live chat, so not what I was expecting, but then there’s still no response so I’m a little bummed about that.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Unable to get a refund due to illness and injury. They make it virtually impossible to claim your money back even though it’s circumstances beyond your control. They pass you from one place to another, total chaos. Not impressed.

Thank you for your review, we’re sorry to hear about your experience.

As outlined in the event organiser’s Terms & Conditions that were agreed to at the time of booking, withdrawals are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or deferrals for any reason. As we are not the event organiser, we’re required to adhere to these terms and aren’t able to override them.

The only exception would be if Refundable Registration had been added to your booking. Unfortunately, this was not included in your booking, which means a refund isn’t available in this case.

We can see that we replied to your original message and advised you to contact the event organiser directly. This is because they are the only team authorised to make any exceptions outside of their stated terms, and we’re unable to take action without their approval.

We hope you’ve now been able to reach the organiser as recommended. If you need any further help, please reply to our previous email and we’ll be happy to assist where we can.

I could not book my event despite…

I could not book my event despite everything being completed. I tried repeatedly. I emailed the team - no response. No information about any other means of contact. Horrendous customer service.

Horrible experience for a team captain

Horrible experience for a team captain. Very little ability to make simple changes to your team - like run order. Super clunky website. I wish Ragnar would pick a new company to handle their events :(

The ability to sort the run order is only enabled by the event organizer, usually around 4–6 weeks before the event. This is likely why you’re not able to access this feature yet. Once it is switched on, you’ll be able to manage this through your Team Page.

Prompt response by Manuel,with a booking issue and a registration fee being taken 3 times due to a technical issue.

He quickly resolved the issue, in getting my money refunded.

I appreciated that after ‘talking’ to the AI bot that I got put through to a human. After 48 hours or so, I had the answer I needed. It wasn’t urgent and I feel that it was appropriate service.

Efficient and friendly

I booked a place on the Junior Great North Run for my daughter, however I accidentally registered her under my name. After getting in touch Frankie was quickly able to rectify this.

Saved by Support Team

I had a problem booking a spot for Inverness Half Marathon due to a technical glitch. I was not provided with a booking reference number or any further event details.

After contacting support, once I had provided proof of payment and this was verified, the support team managed to get me a new booking reference and sorted my place out.

The support team were very helpful, the booking system is perhaps a little clunky?

I want to personally thank Frankie C…

I want to personally thank Frankie C for the outstanding support he provided whilst trying to resolve an issue with a good for age application for the London Marathon. From the very first response, it was clear how genuinely understanding and invested he was in helping resolve my issue. Frankie replied promptly, explained everything clearly, and went far beyond what I would ever expect.

It is genuinely rare to come across someone who cares this much about doing a good job and about the person on the other end of the conversation. His professionalism, empathy, and willingness to take ownership made a stressful situation far easier to deal with. I really hope his managers see this feedback, as Frankie C is a huge credit to Let’s Do This and exactly the kind of person every customer hopes to interact with. Thank you!
