Lensology is the UK’s leading specialist for reglazing glasses — fitting new prescription lenses into frames you already own. If your prescription has changed or your lenses are scratched, there’s no need to buy new frames. We offer a cost-effective, expert alternative trusted by thousands across the UK and beyond. While High Street opticians often discourage reglazing to push a new frame sale, we’re built around the opposite philosophy: keep the frames you love, save money, and get better service. Lensology brings together affordable online pricing with the personal, one-to-one care you’d expect from an experienced optician. Every customer speaks directly with an adviser who has real, hands-on optical experience. We’re also the UK leaders in prescription and non-prescription lenses for Meta smart glasses — including Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta — and we ship internationally. For those who prefer a face-to-face visit, our Watford showroom is open for reglazing consultations or browsing our curated designer frames and sunglasses. Premium lenses, great prices, proper customer service. That’s why people choose Lensology.

Ordered transition lenses for my meta raybans. I emailed a few times to ask various questions about the service and everyone who replied was super helpful. The lenses themselves are great and the quote was specific to what I asked for. Highly recommend!

Wow . I was so sceptical of using an online optician to fit new lenses to my designer frames I need not have worried.
Amazing customer service. Kept advised every step of the process. Quick turnaround.
I took out the higher level of insurance.
Fantastic service and I would have no hesitation in using the services of this company again and recommending their services. Much cheaper than using a high street optician.

Great value! Customer service was great, my initial selection apparently wasn’t compatible with the frames I had so they clarified the issue with me and offered alternative solutions. Very responsive and helpful! 👍

Does exactly what it says on the tin.
No problems, no delays. Everything has been as exactly as advertised. Top quality, speed and affordability.
That is a rarity these days!
They promised, they delivered. I'm super impressed.
My partner went to a local high street brand at the same time as I went to Lensology. He didn't want to 'take the risk'.
Mine were done and dusted in a week. 2.5 weeks later, he is still waiting on his glasses at the high street store. Needless to say, as he struggles on with his old glasses and waits, even he has said that next time he will be using Lensology!

I recently sent two pairs of sunglasses to Lensology to have the lenses replaced and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The customer service was fantastic, responses were incredibly prompt, everyone was really helpful, and the entire process was so straightforward from start to finish. When my sunglasses were returned, they honestly looked and felt like new. The quality of the replacement lenses is excellent, and they had even tightened the arms on both pairs, which was such a lovely extra touch.
I’m genuinely so impressed with the service and quality. I’ll absolutely be using Lensology again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Re-lensed my Ray-Bans with Lensology 3 months ago. Big mistake. The prescription feels off—constant dizziness every time I wear them, even after trying to 'adjust.' For the premium price they charge, I expected OEM-quality optics, not a motion-sickness simulator. Huge regret. Save your money and go to a proper optician."

I have a very mixed experience with Lensology. When the combination of frame and lenses works, the result can be excellent, but my case also showed the limitations and risks involved with more complex wrapped frames.
My first order was placed on 18 March 2026, and the final unresolved communication regarding my original Oakley lenses was on 7 August, so the overall process lasted nearly five months.
The Good:
My Ray-Ban New Wayfarer RB2132 varifocals are excellent. The Balanced Profile gives me natural distance and intermediate vision, including a very useful dashboard area, with no noticeable adaptation period. Lensology’s pricing is also very competitive compared with many high-street opticians.
The Oakley problem:
My Oakley Holbrook frame proved much more difficult. The original lenses had serious binocular problems in the reading zone. The first remake successfully corrected the reading diplopia and initially seemed fine, but after longer use I found significant eye strain and distortion in the distance and intermediate areas.
Lensology then agreed to another free remake. Their support confirmed in writing that the Exact DS Balance design and digital wrap compensation were specifically noted for this remake. Unfortunately, the final lenses were still unusable for me, producing severe spatial distortion, altered depth perception, a tunnel effect and horizontal compression.
Lensology ultimately accepted that the curvature of the Oakley frame was probably contributing to the intolerance and offered either a refund or a remake into a flatter Ray-Ban frame. I chose the Ray-Ban option, which worked perfectly.
Customer service:
During the reopened Oakley case I was initially quoted approximately £206 for another reglaze. I challenged this because it was part of an unresolved non-tolerance issue. Sophie subsequently apologised for the misunderstanding and Lensology agreed to carry out the remake free of charge.
Missing factory lenses:
When I returned the Oakley frame for the final time, I told Lensology that I was including the original factory non-prescription Oakley lenses and asked their lab to reinstall them after removing the failed varifocals.
The Ray-Ban glasses later arrived and were excellent, but the Oakley frame was returned completely empty. Lensology initially said the original lenses did not appear to have been received. Oscar then searched the laboratory and on 7 August told me that he had been unable to locate them and would see whether replacements could be ordered through their Oakley account.
Conclusion:
For a standard, relatively flat frame such as my Ray-Bans, my result from Lensology was excellent. For a wrapped/sports frame such as the Oakley Holbrook, however, my experience remained unsuccessful despite several attempts, so I would approach this type of reglaze with caution.
I would also recommend clearly documenting any original or factory lenses included in a parcel before sending the frame.

Really happy with my new lenses in my sunglasses, as good as new. I got them back in the window they said, so really pleased.

What can I say but absolutely awesome! The service is excellent, it can't be faulted. The quality of the work is excellent, it can't be faulted. The price points are fair and it's all value for money. I've used them three times now and will continue to do so.
