Completely not satisfied with the…

Completely not satisfied with the Career Services. I was told that they have a portal with active job posting. This is missing. And i was told that guidance will be provided on what kind of roles to avoid for and what kind of projects and experience to showcase. The same is missing. The CV template looks good, but thats not enough.

Went in a beginner, came out building full-stack apps

I enrolled in the Full Stack Software Developer programme with Learning People about a year ago, and completing it has genuinely changed the direction of my career.

The curriculum covers React on the frontend and a Python stack on the backend, including APIs — and the sequencing works really well.

My first project was a React app that got me comfortable with the frontend, and my second project was a full-stack build that brought everything together. By the end of it I had a clear, end-to-end understanding of how modern web applications are built.

What stood out beyond the content was the support. The student care team were consistently responsive and helpful throughout the programme. My project mentor, Andy deserves particular mention — his guidance during the project phases was practical, encouraging, and genuinely made a difference to the quality of what I built.

I've now moved on to the Career Services track, which is the next step, and I'm going into it having already shipped real applications off the back of what I learned here. That says it all really.

Highly recommend Learning People to anyone serious about transitioning into software development.

Career Change

I have been contemplating a career change for a long time and never knew where to begin. But the learning people have made the decision easy for me. From the first phone call it has been easy and practical. The help and support is beyond words. I don’t feel like I’m doing it alone. The platform used to study the course is easy to use and has unlimited resources to help you along the way. There is nothing too difficult. The follow up calls are great to keep you motivated, stay on track and make sure you, as student are not missing out on anything.
I am a mother of 4 and I work full. The course and the team work around me.
Finally , I’m where I want to be and I honestly don’t think I would be this far ahead if it wasn’t for The Learning People.

I enrolled with The Learning People…

I enrolled with The Learning People because the course was presented as practical, supported and career-focused. In my experience, it did not match that expectation.

I found much of the course to be passive, theory-heavy and slide-based, rather than the practical and interactive learning experience I believed I was signing up for. The website refers to mentor meetings, interactive exercises, career support and support from industry experts, but my experience of these elements was disappointing.

Support felt strongest at the start, but after the initial period I felt contact reduced significantly. I also experienced missed or cancelled meetings and did not feel this was followed up properly.

I raised a formal complaint, but it was rejected with no refund or compensation offered. I have now escalated the matter and raised a claim with the finance provider.

I would advise anyone considering signing up to ask very specific questions about how much of the course is genuinely practical, how much is pre-recorded content, and what support is actually available before committing.

currently just passed the Network+ exam! feels great taking the leap with the learning people- support from my student rep has been great (S/O Fabrege)

the study material is great- my advice would be to use the transcripts of each module and generate notes if youre more of a reading/processing learner (as i am) for visual learners i reccomend creating diagrams./flowcharts of the processes with topologies- these worked wonders!

Professionalism at its finest

Everything kept professional to a level I haven't experienced before. Follow-back calls to keep students on the right track and on the appropriate study plan. Although I am still a little early in this program, but I can instantly tell through instinct that this will have a very positive effect on my career going forward. All the program requires is devotion and punctuality to the study plan. I have had interaction with Fabergé and Mili and both have been very helpful in guiding me how everything works and how to reach out to them if I am stuck or confused.

Had a terrible experience with a guy…

Had a terrible experience with a guy who called from an online enquiry that set uo a call. He goes so why were you interested in speaking with us then? Like so rude. So I was rude back and responded because your website was set up that way i could not simply view the course information duration and cost, it was designed for a call, so it would be easier to provide all the information rather then a call to try to sell. He then hung up. My feeling was complete and utter dodgy. He said he was a senior career consultant lol i dont need career help im good thanks i just wanted your course information. Big difference
