I made a purchase and was asked whether delivery in approx. 15 working days was fine. I didn’t mind this and agreed.
After waiting 3 weeks I asked for an update and was rudely told by Alexandra that a delivery date can’t be confirmed because they were ‘too busy’. They were clearly stressed and not managing properly.
I mentioned not having clarity on delivery dates would delay our programme as we had contractors lined-up. They simply didn’t care and said it was my mistake. Apparently I shouldn’t have lined-up contractors without having materials on site. What world do they live on?! All contractors have lead times too.
After a couple more days trying to get more information Alexandra was persistent about cancelling the order and refunding. I agreed and then was told it’ll take up to 7 days to refund!
After nearly two weeks waiting for refund I was chasing again and copied in the management team - only then did Alexandra George get into gear and make sure the refund happens.
Total waste of 6 weeks with no regard for the impact this causes. I urge you do not bother with this company!
The products are good but is impossible to find something in the website, they need to have a website more with a more friendly approach. Moving to a competitor with a easy website interface not using them anymore just because the website interface. Impossible to finds anything.
Been to dudley branch this morning as it was my first time, met Dave who went above and beyond in providing services, god knows how many times he had to go up and down the stairs to fulfil my requested products, and in the end at trade counter i was served by a young man who matched the services as it was lunch time for the forklift drivers, he clearly understood it is my first time, so he took matter in his own hand and got my stuff in no time. 10/10
Bought just one sheet of 8x4 15mm ply. Did my order over the phone, very helpful lady (Bev) took my call. Went to pick up this morning, asked if they could cut it into 2 lengths, No was the answer but no problem me cutting it myself so long as I was off the premises so parked on the road by a grass verge nowhere really to cut the material but managed anyway.Very helpful forklift truck driver he did help me manoeuvre it to a more suitable position to cut it. Maybe it would be helpful to the public if an area inside the premises was made available, they have a massive yard I'm sure it would possibly.
I spend thousands here every month and I’m really disappointed with the service from the lady on the trade counter at the Leeds branch… Shes very awkward and rude. All other staff have been fantastic!
She seems to think it her business how I’m going to get things on my van, whether I’m wearing a hi-vis and who’s card I’m paying with… find it really cheeky to be honest. Don’t know what the issue is... I just want to pick my materials up and be on my way without the hassle! Happened a few times now with same staff member
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Narinder Bassi , as well as Matt, George and Crina from accounts. My emails get picked up within minutes, orders dispatched next day. Narinder would go out of his way to help us even when we place orders last minute and need materials urgently. Super professional, best price and best service !

I want to make an order , I don’t even know if they sell the product but they won’t talk to me unless I open an account how stupid and backward , totally put off by an arrogant sales person
Have sent payment on the 16th of May and still haven't heard about it being shipped. I have been told they have received payment but then haven't received payment. Have to send 3-4 emails before receiving an email back and usually it's at the end of the day we get little to no info on the order.
