First time buying. I was looking for zero VOC’a paint for my new compost bays and was worried it wouldn’t cover them but it has zero VOC’s, covers perfectly. Husband said it’s easy to apply and dries quickly. So will buy again and recommend

Great paint, easy to use and covers beautifully. The lack of smell and knowing that there is nothing 'bad' in the paints are real plus points. Expensive but you really get what you pay for.

Extremely relieved to find a paint I can use with my chronic skin allergies. However it is expensive!

I was advised that there were only 5litre tins available and smaller cans would not be economical. I only had 4.5 sq meters to paint so I paid over £100 for a can of paint most of which I’ll never use . . . ☹️☹️☹️

Very impressed! 1 coat of anti mould Matt and even my painter was wowed by the easy application, no smell, and wonderful quality of this paint. Splurged a bit as this particular anti mould version was more expensive than other options from Lakeland but the benefits are truly worth it and only one coat provided a very smooth and beautiful coverage! We have used Lakeland paint for many years.
Recently, we began decorating our home and requested a colour to match our sofa colour, but unfortunately, the colour-matching expert was away for a week. Our decorator had only two days before going on to another client, so we decided to use emulsion and wood paint from two other well- known ECO paint companies for one of the rooms, which I regret. There is simply no comparison!!!
Lakelands EKO credentials, ease of application, coverage and finish are far, far superior to their competitors in every way.

Great all around Customer service. Great products. I've used them in my house for the last 24 years, starting when they were Ecos paints. If ever I've tried anything else I'm disappointed.

Great quality, fast delivery, no smell from the paint

As with previous orders... the paint arrived very promptly.

The floor paint we ordered was not the same colour as on the online chart. It was much lighter. I phoned Lakeland to ask if I could return the second unused tin. A customer service agent said this wasn't possible and I couldn't have a refund either! I wasn't satisfied with this response and told her so. She put me through to someone more senior and he said he would find a solution. He offered to sell me a small tin of a darker paint that we could mix in with the light one. Sorry, I can't think of its name! I had to pay £16 for this which was a lot considering it was only a small amount. He was helpful and dealt with my concerns well. The paint was sent by first class courier service and arrived the next day. However, it didn't resolve the issue as even after mixing it in with the original tin, it made little difference! We phoned again and they offered another tin of darker paint to mix in. Again by courier service it arrived next day. We had originally asked for a larger tin of the dark paint, but told the one they would send out was sufficient. We should have been offered the larger tin in the first place. We eventually ended up with a colour that was still lighter than we wanted, but acceptable. Lakeland sent us a colour chart and advised us to use this in future and not the online colour chart, which is a bit misleading. We had a satisfactory outcome after spending more money to get the right colour. It was an expensive exercise, but they reduced the courier cost. Lakeland did go out of their way to find a helpful solution as promised, so overall we are satisfied customers.

User friendly website, helpful customer services, fast delivery, items well packaged and great products. Although you pay for quality products - which do go a long way -your health is more important and good for the environment too. A 'no brainer' in my humble opinion.
What's not to like?

We purchased a tin of Lakeland Paint because a friend, with acute allergies to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), recommended them after having her home redecorated using their products and was thoroughly impressed. Our decorator hadn't heard of the company so was a little dubious – until he started on our first room. We were all delighted with the results; little or no smell with great coverage, just like it said on the tin. Instantly converted we attempted to open another tin ourselves and realised why our decorator had, on inspection, made such a mess of the first lid. Baffled as to why we couldn't leverage the lid open with a screwdriver, we phoned the company who helpfully guided us through the arcane intricacies of the correct technique. Having opened the tin we were immediately converted to this fabulously unfussy and neat system. The product (and its can) are exemplary and highly commendable.

Great quality paints even on bad walls. Really fast delivery too.
