i ordered 1+1 free and when my order arrived a week later, i only had 1 item, customer service was useless..

Product prices are way too high and it is very annoying to have to wait for sales just so you can get your product at its original price, other countries have it for. Moreover, your website is one of the most annoying websites to exist, especially, on mobile. It loads each element very slowly, individually so when you look at something on the page the page keeps jumping from one spot to another. I often lose my patience and just quit. It's 2025! What do you pay your web developers for?! Even, I, a recent graduate can do better than them.

Second time in two weeks that they put a discount sign on the shelf and when I went to pay they charge a higher price.
Both times I asked an employee before I took it, just to be "sure" about the price.
This is a scam!! they think that people are stupid and pay anyway.

I recently read in Consumenten Magazine about how Kruidvat’s so-called “promotions” like 1+1 gratis or 2+2 gratis are nothing more than a huge scam.
And after checking prices myself, I can confirm: there’s nothing “gratis” here — just deception!
There is never something gratis!

Let me give you just one shocking example:
Recently I bought a small bottle of Kneipp shower gel that costs €1.99 in Germany, and the same product is priced at €6.99 in Kruidvat Netherlands.
Even with a 1+1 free deal, you’re still overpaying!
This is blatant price manipulation, tricking customers into thinking they’re getting a bargain when in reality, they’re being ripped off.

Kruidvat is not offering real discounts, just inflated prices disguised as deals.
This is dishonest marketing, and as consumers, we deserve fair pricing, not fake promotions.
Stop falling for their tricks!

Unfortunately, I have to complain about one of the ladies who served me at the cash register, she was very young, I didn't pay attention to her name. I bought paracetamol, so of course she asked if I wanted to know something about the drug. I asked her to speak in English and the lady got angry, it was obvious that she was just having a bad day and wanted to take it out on the customers, and then the lady started speaking in English. Dutch again. Unfortunately, I won't shop there again. People, everyone has their own problems, but that doesn't mean you have to take your anger out on others.

On February 1 2025, I bought perfumes as gifts for my colleagues. 1 I gave already to 1 of my colleague for her birthday and the other one I saved for my other colleague for her birthday.
The bottle broke underneath before I could wrap it. So, I thought there goes my money for nothing and no gift for my colleague!

I went yesterday to Kruidvat Westfield, I explained the situation. They asked me for the receipt. I provided it. I got a new bottle and I'll deliver the broken bottle tomorrow.

I really like how they treated me! ☺️

I ordered a parfume ın November from Kruidvat and PDP Logistics lost my parcel, Kruidvat could not help me about this issue. They said that could not help with shipments that they are not the direct sender of. And I cannot contact to sender because I did not have account while ordering, and cannot follow up my orders with my mail address! Disappointing!

I order vitamins with 1+1 gratis (2 types) so I should get 2x2 boxes.
I got only one of each, so just normal price, not acceptable.

We went to Kruidvat located at Stadsfeestzaal shopping mall at the basement level. My entire family had an
unpleasant experience as the staff "security" accusing us opening the items. Racist in a sense considering that she was also from other land 😅😅... Racial profiling...

Just visiting Antwerp and this is what we get.... Totally ruin our day in Antwerp.. waste of my time for an item worth 4 euro 🤪🤪.. The management should revisit their staff courtesy to customer...

Kruidvat: Deceptive Products and Misleading Marketing
My recent experiences with Kruidvat have been extremely disappointing. I've found that many of their products are either fake or of very poor quality, which is not at all what was advertised. The marketing campaigns are particularly misleading, promising benefits and features that the products simply don't deliver.

I bought several items from Kruidvat that were promoted as being high-quality or effective, but in reality, they turned out to be ineffective or substandard. It quickly became apparent that Kruidvat’s marketing is designed to create a false impression of value rather than offering genuinely trustworthy products.

The gap between their marketing claims and the actual quality of their products is both frustrating and deceptive. It feels like Kruidvat is more focused on profiting from misleading customers than on providing real value.

In short, my experience with Kruidvat has been deeply unsatisfactory. I strongly recommend avoiding this retailer and looking for alternatives that offer more honest advertising and better product quality.

They could improve their app, but overall I think they’re okay. I’ve been ordering online from them since almost two years now, with no problems encountered.

Absolutely revolting. The bosses were HORRIBLE and RUDE. The way they treat their employees was sickening. The employees themselves were OUTSTANDING. So kind and helpful and the bosses were treating them terribly. It made me sick to my stomach. Even if the employees were great, I cannot and will not stand behind a company run by such cruel individuals.

don't trust KRUIVAT's prices, the perfume I bought is fake. I bought a perfume on the kruidvat website and the perfume is fake, SHAMEFUL. how a company like kruidvat associates itself with beauty Connect and does not check before allowing companies like this to sell through its website.

Bought a gift card for my best friend but she didn't want it so I wanted to return it. Returning 'wasn't allowed' and they gave me dirty looks. What the hell is that for customer service? Returning a gift card that hasn't been scratched after 5 days shouldn't be something to get dirty looks for.

So they put promotions in their stores like (2 half price)..when you go to the checkout out,both items are unfortunately priced at the same price..if you are not keen,your money will go to waste..it has happened to me 3times and yesterday I wasn't keen enough until I checked my receipt..

Absolutely terrible website. I tried ordering using my phone, desktop, multiple browsers etc. Avoid.

First of all, I feel obliged to write here because this company does not have a complaint line or e-mail.
I love this store, but my last baby product order was a complete disappointment.
Relying on the information on Kruidvat's website, I requested various products. However, the content information on the site and the contents written on the product's label are very different. If used without care, a baby who is allergic to these substances may be in a very difficult situation.
