Paid and no delivery

I ordered kite strings on the 26th September and I still haven't received them [23rd October]. I have phoned them three times and no-one answers the phone. I have used the contact form on their website and they have not bothered to reply to that message.

Fantastic company to deal with

Fantastic company to deal with. I was advised the best options for myself as a new flyer and what would be best for me, Steve helped me with all of my questions and gave great advice. Kite arrived quickly and I am very happy with it.I had a great customer experience and will be contacting them again for all of my needs as I progress. Thanks to Steve and the team.

This is a legit company

Initially I was starting to believe previous reviews that this company was a scam however I am wrong and I have apologised to Kiteworld.co.uk.
I emailed them to ask for an update on my order, I didn't receive a reply but they said they did send one (could be in junk folder). Then I tried ringing and no one answered and no option to leave a message so that's when alarm bells started ringing!!
However, I am happy to say this company did deliver the order and replied to my email eventually. They may be slower than Amazon's next day delivery but they're a lot more ethical I'm sure. So you can be confident when purchasing from them.

Do not use. Possible scam

Terrible. I order two kites with next day delivery the money was promptly taken from my account and no more communication! Do not use this company! Still using coronavirus as a reason to not answer the telephone or replying to email. Do not use this company.

This review is absolutely unjustified, unfortunately the delivery was delayed by 1 day, I personally replied to all of your e mails and when I telephoned you to attempt to explain that the delivery would be one day late due to a pre Christmas delay with the courier along with the fact that we would refund the delivery charge in full, you were extremely rude and insulting and not interested in hearing my side of the conversation and finally threatened to trash my business online. This type of behavior has no justification whatsoever, and to suggest that the business that has been trading since 1989 is a 'scam' is quite honestly libelous

Ordered a kite and delivery was satisfactory. It broke within 5 minutes of use. Phoned and was told they were not taking phone calls and I had to e mail. E mailed with all the details. This was in June and I am still waiting. So I am stuck with a useless kite and 0 customer service

Excellent service

Ordered 4 Neutino kites yesterday, and took the free post as they didnt need to be here fast, turned up today by FEDEX very well packaged.
I even managed to mess the order up by ordering the wrong colour, this did not matter because Steve was very helpful and just sent the correct colour once I realised and emailed my mistake
Top speedy service by Kiteworld, I will be buying here again in the near future.
EDIT...I got two add on's and one kite and a kite that had no spars, awaiting Kiteworld to contact me.
EDIT...Kiteworld have now re opened and sorted this straight away I cannot reccomend this brilliant shop enough, top marks from me.

Ordered twice from them, that's the last of it.

Ordered twice from them. First order came super quick. Second order didn't. And despite me leaving plenty of time (and paying £3.99 for something that would fit inside a normal envelope), they wouldn't even bother to ask the courier on my behalf where the item had got to. As a result I didn't get the bits I needed for a family holiday. Thanks a bunch, I'll make a point of not using you again.

Something is very wrong here

Something is very wrong here. Ordered a replacement fibreglass rod. Never got the shipping quote, they don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails. Raised a case with Paypal. Kiteworld did not answer Paypal's emails either. Got my money back after two months.

I ordered some rainbow tails and kite…

I ordered some rainbow tails and kite line paid £93. Received it late as I paid for next day deliver. however the kite line was too thick so I was asked to return it for a refund. Their attitude was awful, no customer service skills. It cost me £11 to return it, that was four weeks ago. They have ignored every email I’ve sent since. They are still NOT answering the phone they say there short staffed and too busy .. 😡 I’ve noticed they have now update a covid notice on the website on 21 Aug 2020.
I’ve had no communication in four weeks it’s really frustrating. I will not and would not recommend this company. something is not right and it don’t look good . Stay away and save your money.

Easy transaction!

I wanted to try out a beginner's stunt kite for our Cornwall holiday, tried ringing but voice message suggested to email instead which I did. Immediate response on email, where Stephen suggested the 48 hours Parcelforce delivery in order to receive kite in time for when we left for Cornwall. Kite received as promised, perfect transaction, thank you!

We're lucky to have this shop in the UK

I have placed a number of orders with this shop and every time the service has been impeccable. People that expect their stuff to turn up at their door the next day after purchase may be disappointed. However, the shop provides good advice, totally honest prices and a variety of kiting related items that cannot be purchased anywhere else in the UK (e.g. Prism kites, a number of HQ ones and other). I say we're lucky to have it and we should support it.

sole Prism uk supplier

I’ve dealt with Stephen many many times now for all my prism stunt kites. Always good prices and knowledgeable company to deal with. Not to mention the sole supplier in the uk for prism kites. Yes communication can be a little slow and no one answers the phone . But you always get what you pay for and do get a response eventually . All in all very good and will be back for more

I placed and paid for an order on April…

I placed and paid for an order on April 1st, and immediately tried to contact the company to confirm a delivery date as it was purchased for a birthday present. I have called numerous times, but just get a voice message, with no option to leave a message.

I have had no response to my three emails also sent.

KiteWorld were though most efficient at taking the funds from my account immediately.

Postcript. My kite was delivered today , but still no response to my communications, so have increased my star rating. If it were possible I would give them 5 stars for their web site and speed of delivery , and 0 stars for customer support

Ordered a kite online and after 12 days…

Ordered a kite online and after 12 days without receiving it (in UK) I contacted them to enquire and I was told they were out of stock of that kite. 12 days wasted waiting while I could have bought it somewhere else. Is that difficult to keep stock information up to date online?!

Exactly how a business should be run.

Perfect service. All my e-mails answered very quickly. Even the e-mail I sent on a Sunday was answered just two hours later. Item delivered in less than 2 days.

Very Knowledgeble and Amazing Service.

Called up late on Monday evening (4:30pm) to buy a kite as a gift. Spoke with the owner who ran me through all the options in a very knowledgeable manner. Once I knew what I wanted I mentioned that the only problem was that I needed it at my home by the next day. Kiteworld sent the kite special delivery and it was here at 7am the next morning! A-maz-ing!! These guys are good! I would recommend them for expertise and service and the price was also super competitive!!!!
