This all seems to be a scam, you select the product from their comprehensive list of availability, pay and register and wait. Then rather than receive confirmation of anything they then send an email confirming that you as purchaser have cancelled the order! So then you receive the full refund a week after they took your money by deception .
I can only assume the product was never available and this is a process of accepting purchases when there is a match between the order and availability! I thought it was strange how there could be such an apparent stock of just about everything possible.
So I’m happy with the one star as in fairness other online retailers make it very difficult to even receive a refund.
As to why Karcher as a reputable brand wish to be associated with this outlet that uses its name in good faith escapes me.
So if you are considering a purchase be aware that what you read won’t necessarily be correct and hardly inspires anyone to pay up front for a product that may not exist. It’s a good way of generating working capital for free anyway!

UPDATE:
This has now been resolved with Karcher, who, in light of the difficulties experienced returning the faulty product, agreed to send the replacement straight away. It was disappointing that like so many companies they reacted slightly quicker to a negative Trustpilot review than to my initial complaint. However, I am now satisfied this has been resolved and have added some stars accordingly.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
After receiving a faulty WV6 Window Vac, I am experiencing nothing but difficulty when attempting to return the faulty product using Karcher’s designated return process.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a remedy for goods that were faulty at the time of receipt. Additionally, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (commonly referred to as Distance Selling Regulations), it is Karcher’s responsibility as the retailer to ensure that customers were not burdened with unreasonable costs or inconvenience when returning faulty goods.

Their proposed return method via DHL Servicepoint proved entirely impractical. After undertaking a 20-mile round trip to the nearest outlet signposted by DHL, I discovered that it did not handle returns via DHL. This misdirection caused unnecessary cost and inconvenience, which I found wholly unacceptable. While this issue may have been outside Karcher’s direct control, it was irrelevant to me as a customer—my dealings were with Karcher, not DHL.

Given these circumstances, I have requested an alternative return solution that does not impose further inconvenience, delay, or cost upon me. It is not my responsibility to bear the consequences of inaccuracies or inadequacies in Karcher’s returns process. Furthermore, I have already been without a functioning product for an unreasonably long period, which was unacceptable under both UK consumer law and basic customer service standards. I am currently awaiting their response. Would give zero stars if possible.

Absolutely woeful customer service.
I ordered a product and they sent me the wrong item. I called immediately and was told I needed to return it and then they would send a replacement but as it’s so close to Xmas I asked if one could be sent earlier, I was told this would be checked and they would let me know.
Following day I took my return to the shop I was told to for a DHL return only to find out that they don’t accept these types of return. I again called to be told that they would now collect my item but this wouldn’t be until 2nd January, so I asked again if a replacement could be sent sooner and they said they would need to check. I suggested they refund me for the incorrect item and I purchase a replacement to then be told that the product I wanted was out of stock but they would hold some product back for warranty claims so they would check if I could be sent one of these and let me know.
Following day I have still heard nothing so I call again to now be told that they sent the incorrect item in the first place because the item I wanted was out of stock and that they have no idea when it will be available again.
Now I have no product and I have to wait until some time in January for my refund because someone decided it was a good idea to send me something I didn’t order rather than just issuing a refund in the first place.
I seriously am astounded by the incompetence, poor communication and poor service that these guys provide.

Karcher is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. On the 10th of December I ordered a pressure washer and it was a sorry tale of delivery dates not met. Two delivery dates and times given by DHL for which I stayed in for but goods not delivered. Finally took delivery on the 3rd attempt ( again delayed) . Was not happy with service so contacted Karcher to return the goods but they abdicated responsibility claiming the courier was responsible and even said that I would have to pay to send it back. Buyer beware.This review was written after speaking with a operator at Kärcher on the 17 December the review is self-explanatory and karcher as all my details.l think your reply shows to people that when you post the goods you wash your hands of it and blame the delivery company l paid the £6.66 postage to you and now you want me to pay postage to send it back l will say it again buyer beware.

My first refurbished K4 machine lasted just over a year and when it died I’ve bought another one with a 12 month warranty. That lasted for two uses. Then it was collected and I was told that A replacement will be sent in 3 to 5 working days. After over a week I rang them and they said that they hadn’t even booked in they collected one and that another one will be sent out in 3 to 5 working days. Don’t buy anything from them they’re useless their customer service is awful and their products break repeatedly

I recently ordered a K4 power control pressure washer which arrived today. Apart from a little bit of scuffing on the wheels it looks brand new. I paid £95.98 delivered which is £100 less than the same item new on Karcher's website. I'm delighted with the purchase,but then again I often go down the refurbished route and so far have not been disappointed. One top tip;it is cheaper to buy directly from the outlet than through their eBay shop.

I have just had another dealing with Karcher.What a brilliant company to deal with, ordered some spare parts for my K5 pressure washer, you can talk to them on the phone and explain what you want ,they are very helpful in every way .The delivery is 1st class Evan if they have to order it from German.

I am surprised by a lot of the poor reviews as my experience with Karcher utlet was very positive, and via e-mail the communication and service was outstanding. I purchased a K4 pressure washer last year and when I went to use it a few weeks ago it simply would not pressurise water so after completing as many checks as possible determined it was a flow switch issue. Advised Karcher warranty claims department and expected to be asked to return to base for repair, so was very pleased when they said they would not repair but replace and also honour the extended warranty on the new machine as previously purchased. Everything happened in the timescales given and I remain, after 40 years, a loyal Karcher customer.

Sent a faulty K4. Customer services less than helpful. Would definately not recommend.

I purchased the SE 4001 carpet cleaner from the outlet.

On the website it says refurbished products are “a new unit that has been returned to Karcher. This could be an unwanted item, have a scratch, or a broken part that needs replacing. All items undergo a complete inspection and refurbishment process by Karcher”.

This was not the case for the product I purchased.

Firstly, it was clear it had been used significantly and had a musty smell

It leaked, a lot. The water spray hose leaked from the handle, so much so no water came out from the extraction point. This alone made it useless.

Both sides of the handles were faulty. One side had completely snapped. The other was fixed with a screw that didn’t fit so the seal on the inside was not at all flush meaning water could escape from the tank.

They also didn’t provide instructions.

I was extremely disappointed to be provided with a product in such a poor state.

I’m in the process of returning it. Let’s see how this goes……

On Thursday 19 September 2024, I placed an order for a refurb'd Karcher WV2 Window Cleaner and a Karcher K3 Power Control pressure washer as birthday presents. It was delivered by DHL on Monday 23 September 2024. Good thing I opened it up to check the contents before gifting! Neither of the items were checked before being tossed in a box to be shipped.

The WV2 window cleaner leaked as it sucked water!

The K3 pressure washer was missing a whole wheel and the cap to the detergent tank.

I tried to find a phone number to call, but managed to log in to request a refund. I have lost confidence in getting working and checked replacements, plus replacements would not come in time for the birthday.

I normally do not hesitate in buying refurbed products, but this is abysmal. No quality control or even a visual once over of clearly missing parts.

I wish I’d read these reviews before purchasing! Bought a refurbished K3 power washer. Arrived without a hose that connects the gun to the machine. DHL also left the package on doorstep despite no one being in to receive. (Came unboxed with no instructions also.)

Have emailed Karcher and will await a response about missing parts before updating review. You get what you pay for…best off with Bosch!

UPDATE 27/9/24
Karcher replied to say the missing part had been sent on Monday. But the courier tracking shows as not despatched. Now they’re saying it was never sent. Have asked for a refund and am sending item back as not fit for purpose. Not confident I will get a prompt refund. Will claim via credit card chargeback otherwise. Honestly, please avoid this company!!!

Purchased a karcher k4 months ago,
Everyone they send out is broken leaking water. Promises to check it’s working before posting and still faulty. Given up hope they can actually supply a working machine. Will not be giving them a 4th chance. Delivery driver tells me he spends half his time picking up faulty karchers from the outlet. Avoid.

They say they have not had an update since delivery. They had a video emailed 15/9/24 to which a reply was received. I have since replied and awaiting a response. Packaging perfect condition and is foam wrapped so definitely not transit damage. This was the 3rd one you have sent out like this.

My Karcher battery and charger arrived very promptly. However after battery was on charge for 2/3 hours the display panel was still blank. I phoned customer service / spoke to a helpful agent who arranged for dispatch of new battery. As an older customer I appreciate such prompt attention as I no longer drive. Thank you

Worst experience buying a product off them

I had to chase them to find out the item was out of stock and I would have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for it to come back in stock for them to then send it to me

I would stay away

Bought an Karcher WRE 18-55 Cordless Weed Remover for £68. Received the item it broke the day it arrived the bottom end snapped off as I was testing it. I emailed them, they did email back and asked for pictures I sent pictures and then I heard nothing after that.

I would not use again, customer service is non-existent.

Received a nice refurbished K4 Power Control.Quick delivery.
Small issue rectified very quickly and sorted.

Will use again.

Below issue resolved. Took a couple of weeks for return and replacement. No issues with replacement unit.

Karcher K5 bent plug pin that shouldn’t have passed a simple quality check. Unit can’t be used. No hose adaptor.

Recently ordered a k4 pressure washer (or so I thought) and never received it. However, it turns out that the site I went on, although looked identical to karcher outlets site, wasn't their site.
My previous review has been deleted as it was not fair on the official Karcher outlet business.
I was contacted by them this morning, and with the help of Kieran, identified that my order was never with Karcher Outlet and that I had been scammed.
His help and support was excellent and his advice has helped me get my money back from the bank.
Just a warning that there are bogus sites out there, not just mimicking Karcher Outlet, but other sites out there.

Rarely throughout my 48 years as a clinician in The NHS and private sector have I experienced such incredible service as that which I received from David Olivera when I visited Karchers in Bletchworth Surrey.
From the outset when I phoned Karchers I was fortunate to speak with David. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable and patient but also gave me wonderful advice.
When I visited him in the store he set up the Karcher HD5/12 and explained the operation of the machine in great detail, nothing was too much trouble! I’d also like to mention his colleague Mike who gave me excellent advice on various cleaning products.
Overall, what wonderful ambassadors for their company.
