Jennifer Ashe & Son have been brilliant in caring for our beloved Mum, we would highly recommend them.

We reviewed a handful of other Funeral Director websites and after making some initial calls, we quickly realised that the price you see advertised as 'package prices' on some websites is not necessarily the price you pay. For example we were being told on the phone of added disbursements and costs. It was all very confusing to understand and compare prices, until we found Jennifer Ashe & Son's website. Their website was so easy to use and all the information was laid out in a simple and clear format, and most importantly the price you see advertised is the price you pay, no hidden extras.

From the first meeting with Rachel in the Lichfield office, everything has been handled with exceptional professionalism. Rachel gave us honest and straight forward guidance, and was very patient in answering all our questions. There was nothing which was too much trouble and went that extra mile by suggesting hand tied daffodils for Mum's coffin in ribbon to symbolise the Welsh flag. Rachel was meticulous in making sure everything we requested was detailed and carried out.

On the day, the funeral cars and team were immaculate. Steve was our Funeral Director, and along with his team, they all provided a very professional service, quietly guiding us to be in the right place at the right time. The flowers were beautiful, the coffin spray was full of Mum's favourite roses and the hand tied daffodils were perfect, exactly as we had agreed.

Martyn was our celebrant, he was so kind to us all and really brought Mum's eulogy to life. The service was excellent and completely captured what we wanted to say perfectly.

As an extra we had chosen to have a dove release in the grounds of the crematorium after the service. Laura from Divine Wings Dove Release was so lovely. She presented the two doves in pretty floral cages, and prior to their release recited a beautiful poem, it was really very moving.

We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in caring for Mum and our family, you all made a truly sad day, very special.

Richard, who led the funeral for my beautiful Mom on 2nd April 2025, made a difficult day more bearable with just the right mix of sympathy & light heartedness.
Everything was perfect from the coffin & flowers to how Jennifer Ashe conducted themselves which was extremely professional.
Sadly this is the 3rd time we have used Jennifer Ashe & each time they have gone above and beyond, I would not trust anyone else with a loved one.

Jennifer Ashe & Son conducted my parents funeral in December. Tragically both of my parents died in the floods in Valencia.
John knew my parents personally so it meant the world to my sister & I for John and his team to take care of mom and dad.
John supported with bringing my parents home to the UK.
The cremation took place at Cannock Crematorium and Reverend Martyn Jinx was the celebrant. What an absolutely fantastic man he is. My sister and I felt as though he’d grown up with us as he reflected in our childhoods and the lives of mom and dad.
Richard and the team from Jennifer Ashe & Son made the day as easy for my sister and I as they possibly could in such awful circumstances. They were super kind and professional. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect goodbye to our precious parents.
We can’t thank you enough. Mom and dad would’ve been very happy.

Jennifer Ashe at Hednesford arranged and organised the funeral for my husband. From the initial appointment with Claire at the Hednesford branch, everything was handled with professionalism, care and concern from the moment they collected his body right through to his funeral at the crematorium. Jimmy who collected us on morning of the funeral, Martyn Jinks who conducted the funeral made everyone feel at ease and we had a beautiful funeral. This is the third funeral I have attended by Jennifer Ashe and I cannot praise their care and professionalism highly enough.

Jennifer Ashe & Son are very professional and caring. I can certainly recommend them highly. They showed compassion and guidance throughout the process but ultimately we had the funeral we wanted for our mother. The minister, Mr Jinks, who does alot of funerals for Jennifer Ashe is a star. He did a wonderful service and was able to make us smile at such a difficult time. That's a gift we thank him for and we also thank Jennifer Ashe.

Jennifer ash & sons are a excellent to deal with, Richard i no is a nice understanding gentleman and all the staff also are nice i no you can trust this business to sort out every thing for you they did two friends of mine and it was first class work why go else where when you have a good funeral parlour in Brownhills who you can trust and yes they will do a professional job i give this company 5 stars yes i can recommend this place to any one there is only one who will do my funeral when I've passed on that's Jennifer ash and sons and it will never ever be the coop

My wife and myself are just two victims of the Safe Hands funeral plans scheme in which over 46,000 people lost approximately £60 million in our opinion to callous fraudsters.
Via Safe Hands funeral support group on Facebook, John made the kind and generous offer to help people that have fallen victim to this fraud by supporting not only those who purchased Safe Hands plans from them but also people in the local area that purchased these plans elsewhere.
My wife and myself met with Joe and were offered and accepted their kind offer of support. We are still out of pocket £7000 and hope to one day to see justice served to those from Safe Hands responsible.
Our new plans have cost us more money which we can ill afford but thanks to John and Jennifer Ashe and Son Funeral Directors Ltd who are giving their services free of charge, at least when the time comes we can have the funerals we want.

We chose the Willenhall branch and worked with Angela who arranged my father's funeral. We were treated with care and compassion right from the first time we met. She explained everything thoroughly and was available by email and phone for any of our questions.
Everything ran smoothly from the designing of the order of service to visiting the Chapel of rest and I must say that when my father died he looked very poorly but in the Chapel of rest he looked like his old self and we found this comforting.
On the day of the funeral Jimmy looked after us and explained what would happen. My father was treated with respect and the service was a perfect celebration of his life.
We would like to thank the team, especially Angela and Jimmy for making a very difficult time a lot easier to manage.

The care, compassion and support throughout the arranging of my Dad's funeral was above and beyond. Nothing felt forced and they did everything possible to make a very difficult time simple.

Today I have visited the Hednesford branch of Jennifer Ashe & son funeral directors to plan ahead for my funeral.
I would like to say what a pleasurable experience it was.
My meeting was with Becky and I cannot thank her enough for her excellent customer service, making me feel at ease and for listening to my requirements and giving me advice.
I feel a whole lot better knowing that I will be in safe hands once the inevitable happens.

My mom passed away recently ... I had to organise the funeral alone as no other members of the family were involved. It was such a sad and stressful time but Jennifer ashe and son funeral directors in Willenhall were so so so supportive... Claire helped me to organise the funeral and she was so lovely. I had never had to plan a funeral before and was so daunted by the whole experience.. I never felt alone and knew I could call at anytime. I felt as if they knew my mom too with the care they gave her... the whole funeral was perfect for my mom and filled with love.
