Great place to find accomodation and exceptional service

How to narrow your search: Search for a radius, there is nothing between 5 and 10 km. Which is like 5 districts or the entire city and its surroundings. Or use the draw on the map feature, which is so buggy it always deletes your drawing. Or you select the districts. I choose 17/22 city districts, then it tells me the area is to big narrow your search. *****
I cannot believe it, worst experience ever.

Do not use for advertising your property. We've had our property up for 2 weeks and had numerous emails from scammers. We took the property down and 4 days later ImmoWelt took €79.99 for a subscription even though we had no property active and no knowledge of entering a subscription.

Awful and very user unfriendly interface, awful subscription methods terrible customer service. Hands off!

Called after the reply of immowelt. Was a nicer costumer service but same result. Because immowelt didn’t check their advertisers enough you can easily get scammed on their site. When you call they say sorry and that’s it. They don’t check it right and the customer bears the consequences and price involved in that.

after I informed them 3 times during June and deleted all properties from the listing at the end of June, that from July 1st 2023. I no longer want to use their services because I get more customer inquiries from my website than from immowelt, immowelt sends me an invoice for the period from July 1st 2023. until March 1st 2025. to pay them right now all at once!!!!!!! even though my properties are not listed on immowelt as of June 30, 2023!!!!!! Even after I informed them 3 times in June that I will not be using their services after June 30, 2023.!!!!! And now they are threatening me with forced collection through a debt collection agency!!!! looks like my lawyer will have to explain in court to these fraudsters that I don't owe them anything, in fact they should pay me damages for fraud, harassment and extortion! I have never met this kind of fraudulent garbage! TOTAL SCAMMERS!

The site is full of scammers. It’s really hard to find anything real there. Immovelt doesn’t a thing to clean up its business as it benefits from the scammers’ ad payments. Don’t use it. Go for in person real estate agents and forget about web services.

As one can see in their answer below, they take no responsibility in vetting their announcers and place the burden of verifying announcers on users. Using immowelt.com is a waste of time.

The website is taking your money and doesn't do the job. Please don't use it. You pay once and then should pay each month automatically.

Their customer service refused to explain the Problem and just put the phone down. never experienced such a rude person. I have called them twice, it worked never.

Immowelt is an extremely unsatisfactory apartment search company. I placed an advertisement for seaching subsquent tenants for my apartment for 6th December 2022 to 13th December 2022, and for the initial ad, it was free of charge for the first week. Unfortunately, they automatically renewed my post without my consent and extended it for another week starting from 14th December, even though I had deactivated the post on 13th December. To my surprise, on 14th December, they sent me a bill of 24.99 Euro, claiming that I failed to terminate my contract 24 hours in advance. This is an incredibly unfair practice and a deceptive strategy targeting individuals searching for apartments. I strongly advise staying away from this company. I will not recommend it to anyone. Despite contacting their customer service, I was forced to pay the bill although I deactivated my post on 13th and did not use their service from 14th December 2022 to 21st December 2022. Please beware of this dishonest behavior. Given the opportunity, I would rate them 0 stars.

My response to your reply: First of all, I did not subscribe to your portal, but took advantage of your offer to place an ad for free for one week. You deliberately exploited your system and trapped me, and you do the same with others. You are behaving unfairly, you have no right to do such a thing. In a word, you are there to trap people and force them to pay, and so you steal money from them.

I am sorry there is no option of "no star" or "minus stars" as one star is way too much for this portal. They are happy to take money automatically from your account for a service they don´t provide, use 20 years old technology that is no longer compatible to anything today, so exporting properties there is a nightmare (or impossible), they respond to messages once a week (if ever), even to the urgent ones and I can go on forever. The worst is their complete lack or professional ethics - as they are happy to take money from their clients without providing the service. Stay as far away from them as possible.

When you post an apartment on Immowelt, there is an option to do so for "free". Later you will receive an email, and if you do not respond to it immediately, then they will automatically charge you with a fee for continuing to host you. In this way, they earn money on users who are inattentive. A different approach would be to only charge users for services that users request.

Website is a scam, even if you do not provide payment information as an advertiser they will send you payment request for "default automatic renewal" of your free advertisement.

Adding a follow up comment on their reply : no, I did not get reminded before less than 24 hours when the payment was “due”. The time to raise it to the customer support, it was too late. Beside users are mislead when booking the Ad, and also not asked for payment method which mislead users further.
After several back and forth with customer support, they agreed to “graciously” waive the “due” payment. I will however leave this review until Immowelt change their bad business practice.

This is a trap for you to enrol for their free offerings only to change your product to the premium one after 2 week without you knowing!

Having used the website, the lack of English language support is a problem which appears is a deliberate act to trap customers into rolling payments which are not very clear at all. The fact there are no automatic email reminders either of any approaching renewal or payment schedule reinforces this impression.

The actual views generated from an ad are in single figures which is just awful. I mean why would anyone pay for an advert when posting it on my own face-book account would give me more views!

Awful and very user unfriendly interface, awful subscription methods, yet they probably sunk millions in marketing as every other ad on Youtube is for Immowelt for some reason. Guys, first sort your page out, it's awful. Also, don't charge until you're at least at 50% of quality that other pages already have. Right now you're maaaaaybe at 10%.

Terrible client service, they charged me 45€ eventough my Anzeige was never online.

The client service don't even bother answering my emails.
