Friendly help as soon as you walk in and all no pressure
Always get good helpful service from Andover and Winchester.
The usual pleasant experience with great products & staff.
Our designer Ruby was amazing! What a great customer service experience. Ruby was patient, professional, friendly, relaxed and honest.
Other members of staff were warm and friendly.
If we were to do another project we would choose Howdens.
I had an excellent experience with the custom service from Ansaar. From the moment I reached out, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. He listened carefully to my concerns, provided clear solutions, and made sure everything was resolved quickly and efficiently.
What stood out most was his patience and positive attitude throughout the entire interaction. It’s rare to find a team that truly values customers and goes the extra mile to ensure satisfaction.
I highly recommend him and Howden company based on the outstanding support I received. Exceptional customer service like this deserves recognition.
Friendly and efficient service. Well done Howdens. Nick listened and produced a kitchen plan that was my brief and exactly what I wanted to start my kitchen rebuild. Quality at the right price comes to mind
I had a building company fit my kitchen when I asked where they got my really bad fitted kitchen they told me howdens I don’t know how they have good reviews as my kitchen is so badly fitted its mat black and I can see the white inside through the doors when there closed also gaps all around really a bad kitchen would never buy from this company
And my builder actually called them and told them they didn’t seem to have a plan to sort it out tried to say we can put something black on the inside cupboard such a joke I’m now looking to have a new kitchen fitted don’t waste your money

Generally really happy with my kitchen from Howdens, Leek. I’ve had a few issues during the process but most issues have been resolved, just not all of them.
The design stage was brilliant and informative. Came away feeling really positive and excited. We had to have our kitchen put in to storage for a few weeks which was no issue at all.
Delivery day came and there was some confusion as to where the kitchen was stored. The driver had been told it was at Stafford when it was actually at Leek, which wasted a chunk of his time and meant we were no longer in at home to receive the delivery - thankfully my kitchen fitter was able to attend.
Upon arrival, the fridge/freezer and larder were missed off the delivery. No problem at all, raised the issue and both were delivered promptly. What was odd was that I bought the fridge/freezer from the showroom (so ex-display), with the promise it would go in to storage with the rest of the kitchen. In fact this was sold to me on the basis that I could buy it now at a cheaper price as it needed to be moved. Turns out it was never moved and the staff continued to use it in the showroom. Not the best as from the point of sale, I owned that fridge, but everyone else was looking at it and using it for weeks. My joiner even joked ‘it wouldn’t be a Howdens kitchen if everything arrived the first time…’
Next I found out that I was sent the wrong size drawers and only had one plinth drawer delivered instead of two. It turned out that I could only have one plinth drawer anyway, as the design for the second drawer did not marry with the space available to fit it. I really did want that second plinth drawer but nothing could be done unfortunately.
I found a few panels had scratches and damage even after removing the protective plastic. Again, no big issue as I removed them and took them back to Leek to be swapped. This was all fine on their end, it just took too many visits to get the correct replacement panels. The first visit was to return the damaged panels and return some spares for a refund, and order replacements. I also had no hinge cap covers delivered when fitting so had to chase them. The second visit was to collect the panels and caps, but turns out the panel was wrong. Third visit was to return the incorrect panel and return another damaged panel. Fourth visit was to collect the replacements. Throughout the returns visits I emailed Howdens Leek to pre-warn them of what I would be returning and why. At first they were great, but after the second visit they stopped replying.
I have since contacted them again as the fridge/freezer is missing some of the internal cover clips to hide the hinges etc., but again I’ve been ignored. I’m not chasing them anymore. I’m disappointed. I’ve spent £12k on a very modest kitchen, I really don’t think I’m asking too much.
Overall I would say that the design process was great, they make you feel very welcome and at ease. I think it’s odd that you only get to see the price breakdown once at the point of purchase, and aren’t allowed a copy of it. I understand it’s because they only sell to trade but ultimately I’m paying for it, so I’d like to know exactly what I’m paying for (not just the once). The delivery process could have been better because of missing items and the promise of the fridge going in to storage.
The staff at the depot are all very helpful and friendly when spoken to in person, a couple of issues arose with wrong replacement items being ordered but eventually rectified. The after sales customer service via email has been poor, no replies for weeks now and I’m not willing to go in to branch yet again.
Happy with what we’ve got. Few issues along the way. Poor customer service regarding after sales via email. Unfortunately the lack of contact would put me off going to Howdens again for a future kitchen.

I recently had my kitchen redesigned by Elliot, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, the Elliot was professional, creative, and attentive to every detail. He really listened to what I wanted and turned my ideas into a beautiful, functional space that exceeded my expectations.
Now my kitchen is not only stunning to look at, but also incredibly practical for everyday use. I’ve received so many compliments from family and friends already. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen design and renovation.
We used Howdens Maldon for our new kitchen and we're so glad we did! Kyla was amazing from day one. She came to measure up and showed us a brochure of all our options, then went away and designed us our dream kitchen. We went in for a design consultation to make sure it was perfect and Kyla designed it on-screen with us, as well as showing us samples of the ranges and the fixtures and fittings etc. We decided on the Allendale range in Porcelain and Dusk Blue with brass handles. Kyla's communication was great and we can't recommend her enough. She responded to our emails promptly and didn't ever chase us or pressure us like other kitchen providers. Big thanks to the delivery guys too. Thank you Kyla!
Excellent friendly service from Kieran
Howdens in Ballymount were very friendly and helpfull and they have amazing offers and prices.
Decided to get a kitchen from Howdens and they sent rob from Accrington branch to do a measure and design.
Very polite and experienced guy who sat us down and ran through our design. Aways there on phone if we needed him all the way untill completion of our kitchen. Highly recommend to ask for rob at Howdens Accrington if you need a kitchen design or even advise
Charlotte at the Kirkstall Depot in Leeds was super helpful from start to finish from discussing all the ranges and price ranges to the difference in appliances and work surfaces. Very knowledgeable on joinery items as well, couldn’t recommend this depot enough to anyone in the area wanting a kitchen or any joinery items.
As a non kitchen designer, I relied upon the "expertise" of Howdens for the kitchen design. The design left pipework exposed. Thankfully, the kitchen fitter acquired a carcass to rectify the error. However Howdens took no responsibility for the lack of kitchen design. The manager even admitted, "I cant understand why he did that"! The manager & head office quibble for weeks over a £95 carcass which would have cost them approximately £40 to manufacture. Head office & the Hemel Hempstead manager took no accountability, or responsibility for the sake of £95 after I spent £9,500. The customer service was appalling once Howdens had my money! Choose your kitchen supplier carefully & read reviews. I would not recommend Howdens
