Bad delivery outside my garage because of a 5 cm footstep...
My answer:
You are right 960kg to move is not fun.
i don't want a crane, just the little clark for this kind of delivery is enough...
Yes delivery is a big part of your product, i pay you for that so 1 star.
Second answer:
Check my order, i say "watch out there is a 5 cm step to come in the garage". If you don't agree that, please say it directly or refuse the delivery. It was on the paper of the driver...
A small metal plate was enough. or some truck have the clark outside at the back.

Too bad you give 1 star for all our services. So means that our Ruf briquettes (what you ordered), our website, our service is all very bad.
We understand that this is not fun that cannot be delivered in a place that you wish. But you must understand that this is not about a small package but about 960 kg and that it is not easy to just lift over 5 cm high sidewalk.
We work together with distribution companies that do not have cranes or cage monkeys to deliver because we supply all of Belgium and the Netherlands. Because this takes up a lot of space, they come with a pallet.

2.1.b The goods are delivered up to the first threshold and only when the surface is flat, smooth and sufficiently firm.

How is the delivery done?
* We only work with accredited and experienced carriers, who do everything in their power to provide their customers with optimum service.
* Your order is placed before the first threshold. Placement on your private property is only possible in consultation with the driver who decides what is possible or impossible. Delivery on your private property is always under your own responsibility.
* Note: the delivery is done with a pallet truck. Due to the high weight, the surface must be smooth and paved and be able to support at least 1,300 kg. (GRAS, Pebbles or SAND cannot be supplied)
* The slope may also not exceed 3%, otherwise we cannot supply you either.

I do not speek French so my answer is in English.
I am not satisfied for the following reasons.
The pallet was smaller than mentioned in the webshop.
On the top of the pallet 20 cm of wood was missing, in total there remained 1.5 m3 instead of 2 m3.
The wood was partly mouldy, the pallet itself was black mouldy and has probably been outside for a long time in not dry condition, the wood was certainly not < 20% humid.
I informed Hotdevil 10 days ago but never received an answer and I think this is the worst thing. Making a mistake is not the problem. Not solving it is bad.
Very good quality of wood: dry, nice wood, no branches! But transporting partner not always relyable!
Ordering, phone calls, paying & the delivery has been Excellent.
Delivery was quick, but I was disappointed with the wood quality... - lots of rotten pieces (you take a log in your hand and it's light like balsa)
- lots of really THICK logs that I will have to chop (hopefully I'll succeed, some are full of knots)
- the length of some logs was way over the advertised 30 cm, I have a small wood stove so 30cm is still ok but 34cm is a problem...
Overall the wood is ok but the packers could have avoided sneaking in the bad pieces when the "restaurant quality" is promised.
