Really quick delivery and items arrived in perfect condition

Messaged them to inquire about further details of a vintage 1922 A4 Gibson mandolin they had on their website. The reply said they were selling it for a customer and their representative considered the frets were worn, and he thought it could do with a refret. I responded asking for some photos of the frets, that was two weeks ago and has been totally ignored.

What a service, I hate to think what the customer would make of it, who has trusted them to "sell" it for him/her.

Perfectly Positive - Though I never needed to query Hobgoblin (the product info was thorough; shipping data clear), they made sure to communicate with me throughout the wait until my package arrived. The product is perfect and just what I'd hoped for. I would definitely consider future purchases from Hobgoblin.

The ukulele strap was competitively priced and came complete with an attachment button. Good quality materials and exactly as pictured and described. I placed the order before noon and received the next day. I don't know if this is the norm but it was very impressive.

Absolutely outstanding! Mine was a trans-Atlantic purchase. We had previously bought instruments at Hobgoblin in person over the decades and knew them to be excellent! Wonderful, friendly expert recommendations by email and on phone on a used guitar. And extremely timely easy delivery here, super packaging, even faster than had been expected. Cannot say enough good things! A beautiful instrument. And stellar staff!

My family has been shopping with hobgoblin for almost 40 years, i myself have been shopping with them for a few years now.

Every order has been nothing but brilliant
Always quality items packed and shipped with care (some would say too much packaging).

My most recent order was for a melodeon and the last one of its brand and make, it had a slight printing error (the brand of the melodeon) so they contacted me to check if I still wanted to go ahead with the order instead of cancelling it or shipping it regardless.

I had a slight problem with the bag it came in so I contacted them and a replacement bag arrived 2 days later.

I would always recommend hobgoblin.

Delivery was good but the item, a Viking gig bag for a baritone ukulele, was an extremely tight fit. It was like squeezing into a pair of jeans which really don’t fit. Disappointing.

As per Hobgoblin's response , I have contacted them and they are now refunding the item, as apparently they now realise that the factory have made a batch of baritone gig bags which are too small. Excellent follow up service. Thank you.
