Thank you so much to Hickory’s Telford and the wonderful staff. My husband has recently been diagnosed with Coeliac disease and eating out has become quite a nervewracking experience with so many places not taking it seriously. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive, talked through the menu and providing reassurance to how they try to limit cross contamination. When we ordered the manager then came over with the allergen list to further prove the GF status of his order which was then prepared and bought out with appropriate allergen flags. Thank you for an excellent meal, and allowing him to have a normal experience again without fear! Can’t wait to see you again!

Our North Herts Knights Ladies Basketball Team had an amazing experience at Hickory’s Letchworth on Apr10—honestly one of the most enjoyable meals out we’ve had!

The drinks selection was fantastic, with lots of fun and refreshing options—everything we tried was full of flavour, and the Hickory IPA was a real standout.

The food was excellent. The Smokehouse Platter was a highlight—generous, beautifully presented, and perfect for sharing. The ribs were incredibly tender and full of flavour, and the jalapeño cheese sausage was a big hit. The popcorn on arrival was a lovely touch too!

Desserts: completely stole the show. The s’mores were such a fun, interactive experience, and the butterscotch sundae and chocolate cake were rich, indulgent, and delicious.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The team really made us feel looked after and added to the whole experience. We are great full for awesome wait staff: Remi, Brooke and Maddie. The managers, Nico & Mark was so passionate about Hickory’s brand. They wet all so welcoming and attentive to our Team’s visit.

Overall, a fun, vibrant atmosphere with great food, drinks, and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting!

First time there but was impressed

I highly recommend hickory's such a lovely place had a birthday meal for my son's 18 tonight and staff were so friendly, the food was excellent even had our own room and pub has such a great cosy atmosphere even a little cinema room for children or adults but the highlight was a guy behind the bar let my son make his own cocktail drink absolutely brilliant thanks hickory's staff for a great night I highly recommend it.

Went to Hickory’s Milton Keynes about a month ago and was waiting to be seen and got seated by a friendly waitress called Paique it was our first time there and we felt welcomed in and got treated with extra care.

We went to the new Hickory Smokehouse in Letchworth, we were blown away by it. The food was incredible, the very unique drink options were so good. Very helpful staff and we were introduced to the very enthusiastic and passionate owner. Highly recommended, we will be back, without a doubt.

We had such a fantastic experience at Hickory’s Smokehouse in Milton Keynes, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waitress, Wiola. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing.

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavour and cooked perfectly — but Wiola truly made the visit special. She was knowledgeable about the menu, happy to offer recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was perfect.

It’s rare to come across service that genuinely elevates a meal, but Wiola did exactly that. Her friendly attitude and professionalism turned a great dinner into a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we hope to be served by her again!

We went to hickory’s Earlswood Worst dining experience we have ever had as a family, went here for a birthday celebration and was left table of 6 with no service after our first drink for 50 minutes! We then managed to order food not knowing it would then take a further 30 minutes for the food for it to then come to the table cold, I spoke with a female manager with blonde hair and a jersey style jacket my partner believes her name to be Tash something like that, there was no apology of any form she took the food bad whilst clearing complaining about me to other staff members, when the food finally came back hot we had it a total of 15 minutes before asking if we would like desert menus by the same manager and when we said yes she rolled her eyes came back and said we would have to have them to go or eat in the bar area as they need the table back! So we did not order deserts with our server and we left, the attitude towards the job that manager had should not be in a place of hospitality and someone should really consider her future at the company if they want it to succeed

Went to the Hickory's in Northampton UK and I must say, I was impressed. Food, atmosphere, staff were incredible. Value for your money, professional and friendly staff (THANK YOU RUVA) and a clean, conducive environment. I DO RECOMMEND HICKORY'S NORTHAMPTON.

Visited for an evening birthday meal with my husband, we were seated in an area off the main section of the restaurant, near where the kids cinema is located. This area was full of kids who were running back and for and it was very noisy. Great for kids, not for adults wanting to have a nice dining experience. Sadly it wasn't the nice birthday experience i'd thought it would be. Food was ok, overpriced, however the deal of the day was a good deal.

This morning Mothers Day I took my partnet To Earlwood Lakes The Reservior. Laren greeted us abd we were tsken to our table.

Fantastic hospitality and the food and drinks were excelent. See you again soon

Enjoyed a lovely meal here recently with my mother in law who is gluten free. She was really pleased with the choice. Thanks.

Extremely disappointed in this place they had the opportunity to respond to my email but couldn’t be bothered so I will post it on here.
Ordered food from the promotional weekday menu. Beans contained pork which it didn’t state on the menu and I don’t eat pork. I found this out because I ate some of the beans and asked what the meat was inside and I was told it’s pork. The corn on the cob was stone cold. The hot chocolates me and my partner ordered taste like 95% milk. The gravy with my meal was warm. And we waited nearly 20 minutes just for a plain vanilla ice cream for my daughter which I had to remind the waitress to bring.The takeaway waffles and chicken contained bacon which I said no bacon and no syrup. The standards in the restaurant has gone down drastically over the years as it seems very rushed food or very slow service

We went to hickory's in Telford, recently lost my wife's mother, on finding out about my wife's situation the manager Jordan covered our bill . A really gesture from the staff at Telford. And yes the food was amazing.

My first visit to Hickory’s Standish my husband (NFL fan) has been trying to get me in since it opened last year and I absolutely loved it from the decoration which is totally my vibe, the customer service which was outstanding all serving staff are a credit to the venue and lastly the food which was so tasty I normally struggle eating out as I’m so fussy. I had the Mac n Cheese with fries which you’d think would be bland but it was so flavoursome and not short on cheese either absolutely delicious. My husbands tray was piled with assorted meats that just fell off the bone and a side of I believe is bourbon sauce which I was jealous of as it too was amazing. If you haven’t been I can only say go asap it’s a brilliant place that I will be making a habit of going.
Well Done it’s a great place.

Had lunch here today, yummy, the food was brilliant, the meat so tender and tasty, the service excellent and the environment was country. I recommend this restaurant and give it five star rating. I am gluten intolerant and my meal was gluten free. Thank you to the staff and Manager for their excellent service and food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve been to Hickory’s many times and the majority of meals has always been good, as well as an enjoyable experience. I’d recommend trying it once in Wallheath if you haven’t already.

The only comment I will make is that prices are starting to get a bit high for the food being served.

Went today for lunch food wasn’t the best, food was cold and very overpriced. I have been to this same hickory’s twice on an evening and can’t fault the food. Ive also been twice at lunch time. Ive come to the conclusion that it’s either different chefs cooking the food for lunch and evening meals or food served at lunch time is the days before meat as it is very dry. So I’d avoid going during the day.

Overpriced and not good food at sheffield crystal peaks branch..service was good but clearly dont have a clue what theyre doing or how to serve drinks..wont go again as prices are rediculous

I'm reviewing the Wall Heath restaurant. Hickory's is fantastic for diners of all ages (we were a party of seven, ages ranged from 73 to nine months). The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant, we weren't waiting too long for food, they gave us generous portions of high quality deep south food and we weren't rushed. Your time slot is based on your party size, ours was a relaxed two and a half hours. Excellent for birthdays!
