Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

We understand there’s been confusion, so to clarify: lifetime users were upgraded for free to our new platform, which includes significant improvements, and fixes. You still have access to unlimited posting and unlimited social account connections for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, as originally promised.

If you’re having trouble accessing your lifetime account, please don’t hesitate to contact us via support@heropost.io or through the live chat on our website — we’re here to help.

This is not an honest company

This is not an honest company. I paid for their service and within a couple of days realized it was not a fit, nor comparable to other reputable social scheduling companies.
Upon requesting my refund, well within their terms and conditions, they were very nice and seemingly helpful. However 3 weeks went by I contacted them to make sure there were no problems. When they then mentioned giving me a tracking number (yes, for my online payment refund), I knew something was wrong. I contacted my bank and after sharing screenshots of our conversation, they were able to get my money back.
An ad popped up for them on my Instagram feed shortly after this and I left a comment. I advised others to read the reviews before purchasing this product and was quickly blocked.

***EDIT 04/11/24
I was sent an email from Trustpilot that my review would be deleted if I didn't provide my email for Heropost to confirm my experience.
Quick question, TrustPilot... Why would you trust a shady company to tell you the truth if they come back and say "Nope... they were never a customer."?
Heropost was an awful experience and I hope the email I just provided is enough to keep the review active. For the record, I DO NOT WANT HEROPOST TO CONTACT ME. I left this review because of the contact I had with them already.

PS HEROPOST, I still have ALL documentation between screenshots of your customer service team conversation and from correspondence with my bank which was proof enough for them to give my money back on the spot that day.

If I find this review was removed, I will simply post again and on multiple other review sites. Leave me and my review alone.

Hi Seth,

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback — though we’re truly sorry for the experience you described.

We want to clarify a couple of important things that may help clear up the confusion:
Refunds sometimes may not appear clearly labeled as 'refunds' on bank statements. Instead, they may appear as a reversal or a generic transaction. This is something we’ve seen cause confusion in some cases — especially if users are checking their bank app rather than a full end-of-month statement.

When refunds aren’t easily visible, we may provide what's called a “tracking/reference number”, which banks can use to help locate the refunded amount. This is a standard process, not anything unusual or suspicious.

Just to clarify, Trustpilot manages all reviews independently, and we do not have the ability to remove or alter any reviews ourselves. If Trustpilot reaches out for verification, it's part of their own review moderation process. We completely respect their guidelines and your right to share your experience — we’re simply here to provide clarity where we can.

We completely understand that dealing with support issues can be frustrating — and it’s never our intention to delay or avoid helping our users. We take your experience seriously, and we appreciate you holding on to the documentation.

Please know you're always welcome to reach out again if you'd like us to take a second look — either via our live chat on the website or by emailing support@heropost.io.

AVOID HEROPOST - THEY ARE HORRIBLE

AVOID HEROPOST. I can't be any clearer than that. If I could give them even fewer stars, I would.

About two weeks after I signed up to their 'lifetime access' plan, then they disabled their links with Twitter, which basically meant that my account (the main reason I paid for it was because I posted on twitter) was worthless to me. I contacted customer service and they were so terrible. They couldn't care less. These guys are scammers who will convince you to take one thing, then sell you another. I eneded up having to chase this through my bank, who agreed that HeroPost were in the wrong, and returned the money to my account.

Apparently, since I left this review in 2023, they have re-integrated Twitter (so what - they could remove it again at any time), but they are getting their stooges at Trustpilot to forcibly remove any bad reviews they have accumulated over the years (Like, seriously, I have to make sure reviews left a year ago are up to date?). This is a form of censorship, but I guess they are paying Trustpilot a monthly subscription, so they probably think that gives them the right to write their own reviews.

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about the issues you faced — that’s never our intention.

We’d like to clarify a few things: Twitter/X integration was removed due to changes in the API, which made it a premium service with significant costs. It wasn’t feasible for us to continue offering it under the old platform. However, we’ve now re-integrated it into the new platform, where it’s available under our monthly and annual plans due to the premium API costs imposed by X. You still have unlimited posting and social account connections across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

As for your Trustpilot review, we want to emphasize that we do not control or influence which reviews are shown or removed. Trustpilot has its own policies and review verification processes. If a review is flagged, it's typically part of their standard protocol for ensuring genuine user feedback.

If you have any unresolved concerns or if there’s anything we can do to make things right, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team via live chat on our website or at support@heropost.io.

Hi Courtney,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration with the refund process.

We’d like to clarify that if the refund has been approved on our end, we processed it. However, refunds often appear differently on bank statements, especially when they come through as a reversal or a credit. We recommend checking your final end-of-month bank statement to verify if the refund has been applied. Sometimes, these transactions don’t show up as traditional refunds, and it can be easy to miss.

If you still do not see the refund or if you're experiencing any confusion with your bank, we encourage you to contact your bank directly to inquire about the transaction. In many cases, they will be able to help clarify how the reversal appears in their records.

We understand that this process can be frustrating, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us again if you need any further assistance or have additional questions. You can contact us at support@heropost.io or through the live chat option on our website.

Very Scammy. Bad Experience.

*Update* Heropost asked me below to email support@ heropost.com which I did, demanding my refund and the email has been bouncing back for days. Scam.

*Original review*
The interface was clunky and slow, didn't do what I needed it for and IG files couldn't be more than 100MB so I canceled within a few days. That was in March -it's May and I'm still working with my bank's dispute department to get my refund as Heropost has promised a tracking number.
No phone number to contact them, only chat that disappears -take screen shots if you've been fooled by this company.

Great idea, half-baked implementation, awful customer service.

Unfortunately, it's a half-baked SaaS product that doesn't quite live up to its promises. When pressed about it, they told us that certain APIs weren't available that we were actively using in Hootsuite at the time. 🤦‍♂️

They say they'll give you 14 days to request a refund, but when it was clear that the product wasn't going to work for us I requested a refund on day 14 and they said we were past the period when we could request a refund. I guess they're bad at calendar math? I'm calling my credit card company today to dispute. 1/5 stars, do not recommend.

Horrible service with no support.

Horrible service with no support.

I tried this service and unfortunately it didn't work - just buggy and doesn't do what you expect it to.
They offer 15 day cancellation policy - but nowhere on the site was there an email or contact us form for me to reach out and cancel. There was a chatbot that nobody would answer. When I finally got them the message to cancel, they wouldn't return the money because it was sent 16 days after.

In sum - bad service and unethical people running it. Don't waste your time.

It's brilliant

It's brilliant! -- Heropost isn't offering the same tools as other services out there - especially missing: Comment tracking, proper reporting of results and a mobile app! Sometimes the interface is a bit slow and clunky.

But it offers much more than most other services: Posting with Heropost is simple, straightforward and you can add as many services as you want. The flexibility is amazing. And I never had any problem with their customer service, they are spot on.

Worth the money. Every Penny.

Functions aren't stable. Watch out.

The social media functions they offer aren't 100% working. Which will result in scheduling your content and their software won't post it. Customer Service can't even help. It's a tragedy. Two months of content is literally fd. because of them.

A lot of complaints from their customers because Heropost wiped their whole Database, so content from thousands of clients got deleted.

Basic SM management tool with hiccups

I bought Heropost because of the lifetime deal for just under €170. I was looking for an inexpensive social media management platform to manage my own profiles as well as customer profiles. The competition is just absurdly expensive for small businesses like me and the lifetime deal was extremely attractive to me.

I have been using Heropost for about 2-3 months now. Heropost is rather rudimentary and I have the feeling that it still has a lot of hiccups and hang-ups. Basically, most things work quite well. Posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business, Pinterest etc. can be scheduled easily and are posted reliably.

But... only as long as only to basic stuff.

You can't pair a business profile on Pinterest. I mean... Of course I want to pair a business profile. Sucks!

On Instagram, I can't create portrait carousel posts.

On LinkedIn, I can't post a PDF.

Error messages, e.g. because the character limit was exceeded, are displayed in cryptic messages where you first have to search where the problem is.

Support responds quickly provided they are around. Good luck on the weekend or when everyone is still asleep due to the time delay...

Hashtags cannot be looked up by language/region, which makes it difficult to find what you are looking for.

Moreover, the platform – espexcially the integrated analytics – is horribly slow (loading times of 5-20 seconds and more) or you just get an error message because something went wrong. With Pinterest, somehow only individual boards are tracked, but not the entire profile. All in all, pretty pointless for my needs.

There is no way to add more users and give them access only to certain profiles.

It goes on. Again, it's a rip-off, you get a basic SM management solution. But as I said, it's basic. If you have professional needs and SM is an income source for you, I'd suggest you have a look at some of the more established solutions out there.

I have to say, I am positively surprised by Biolinks. This was also included free of charge and works great!

All in all, an OK SM management tool and considering the price tag of 170 € I'd probably buy it again, because it does help me save time and in the long run, it's pretty cheap. It is much cheaper than the competition and you pay only once; but you get only a half-finished product, of which I have not noticed any improvements / updates since the purchase. Hopefully, the further development will continue and the current status quo will not be stuck forever.

In no case would I advise anyone to pay the regular price of currently 500 and 1000 for 6 months and 12 months respectively. Maybe Heropost develops further and finally becomes a real rival, but right now it's not.

It's awful. Just Awful.

It's awful. Just awful. It started out okay but the first issue I noticed was the audio quality of my scheduled videos was seriously distorted when using Heropost. Okay, fine, I'll manually upload those since Heropost NEVER fixed the problem that I brought to them multiple times. Fast forward 6 months later.... EVERY POST I SCHEDULE WILL NOT WORK. It either says "Invalid or expired token." or "Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed" even after I've been through their "support" and followed their recommended steps. It's an absolute joke. I scheduled 2-3 days a weeks worth of posts for the next 3 months and now have manually post them all as Heropost fails to hold up their end that I PAID FOR. Use Hootsuite. I wanted to avoid the monthly fees but it seems Heropost's idea was too good to be true. JUST. DON'T. DO. IT.

Heropost.io, Sure, Great Lifetime Price Deal. But, Nah, Not Really Worth It

Heropost.io

Cons
Can’t post stories (for IG at least)

It can’t handle uploading more than 60 seconds no matter what it may say about IGTV - It may be indicating you can pre-record a session and PRESENT it as live. Can’t say I understand the point, or how it would work? Since it stalls out trying to process more than 55 seconds.

Their support is not 24X7 (in all fairness, can’t recall if it claimed to be though)

Good luck trying to cancel. No options in dashboard, can’t reach support and googling the term refund from heropost.io in google does not even yield a result!

Pros
Does streamline multiple accounts - could be less clunky but still does achieve the basics damn well

Covers a damn high amount of profiles/platforms

Lots of platforms you’ve (most likely) never heard of to try to gain some momentum

Closing Thoughts: It’s cool. It also mimics the features accessible to you in Facebook business center. In my opinion, use that for IG and FB. Twitter is actually easy enough from a desktop that it’s silly to pay for anything like Tweetdeck or else-wise (again, just my opinion). It doesn’t really process YouTube stuff that great, so just keep doing that how you always have been. I’m trying to get my money back, but who knows - You may like it! I think the cons outweigh here though - just my take !

Update since writing: Be wary of their BS 15 day return policy. I just had surgery and am slightly over this mark, needing the money for medical bills but they don't particularly care, so there's that.
