This excuse for a company is a complete scam and rip off. They bill you and make it INSANELY difficuly to figure out how to unsubscribe and they never refund!! I told them that I literally NEVER use... See more

One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They first reported that I had done a chargeback, which I hadn’t, but either way, they never warned me that they would be deleting my account... See more
Dreadful company. Kept getting billed even though I had deleted my account and all my projects. Not even sure if it's deleted now... guess I'll find out in a month if they send another bill. I'm no... See more
The years is 2025. Paypal around since 1998, Heruko since 2007. This is sheer laziness and failure: "Heroku is billed via credit card, automatically on a monthly basis. We do hope to offer another pa... See more
app & account cancelled, still charges every month for 1 dyno subscription
several months ago my app was cancelled without any reason given, I have lost access to my paid-subscription account, 2-step authentification I had to set recently - isn't even an option, when I login it tells me no such user, and when I try to alter my password - it tells me password is wrong, so user must be there.. i contact support every week, it's my monday-morning tradition now, I ask them to stop charging me for the 1 x $7 dyno I've been subscribed to for my app, and nothing happens, they have NEVER replied my emails, it's really ridiculous, I simply have no way of cancelling subscription, short of replacing my credit card...
Arrogance and indifference - avoid like the plague as you need more than a good UI to be a service provider.
Their UI and dev. ops. features are great, I cant fault that but the customer service is shocking, borderline terse with an overriding sense of arrogance and indifference to helping their customer base solve their problems and succeed in the market place. If you want an engaged, end to end service provider avoid Heroku.
Crappy service
I had a few hobby apps running on heroku. One was an image gallery, the other one a list of quotes.
Out of the blue, my account was closed for "violating the acceptable use policy". As this seemed to be a mistake, I contacted support asking for more information. Their support team seems to exist only out of bots with prefilled answers and gave me no useful extra information over the course of 4 weeks.
I don't think I will use heroku again in the future for the arbitrary account closure and complete lack of support.
Great for creating small prototypes…
Great for creating small prototypes quickly!
Their customers service was perfect
Their customers service was perfect
Really love the ui and the free option was perfect for me
The free service is wayyyyyy too…
The free service is wayyyyyy too limiting. I don't normally complain about free services but it's difficult not to when it's basically set up so you're forced to pay up.
I have a Discord mod mail bot sitting on Heroku. One bot, it's inactive too. It sits in an empty server that I am still developing, barely being used. Maybe a few messages a month from me if you're lucky, otherwise it sits there just being online.
I get it that the bot is still doing things when I'm not messaging it, it's checking messages like when our mobile phones are using battery/signal to check for calls even with the screen off, however for this bot, I consistently run out of free dynos in the middle of the month. It's the 16th as I write this and I'm 80%, and my free dynos will certainly run out and my bot will turn off by the end of this week, and this is consistent.
Seems like they provide so few dynos that you'll be practically forced to pay up for a premium option to get enough dynos on a live production server to remove any risk that the dyno will shut down. Pain in the butt.
Not chip but is really good service
Not chip but is really good service! Like it because it has excellent UI.
Fast and Good Performance
Definitely the only provider that has a free option that is not very limited!
I really like the speed and performance! Speed was totally sick sometimes my JS bot even have negative speed (srsly believe me it can), It really looks like the bot already replied without even the message sent.
A win2x solution!
