Excellent service at late notice

Excellent service when I needed it. I was stranded at a station that doesn't have cab offices near by. Uber wasn't available. The last bus had already gone, even though google had said it would come. It was late at night. Their prices were the better than other companies.

I was able to pay on the link they sent via card. I was told the cab would come in 30 mins because of the location I was and the time of night. I asked if it was possible to get it sooner, as It was late and cold. The dispatcher explained why it would take long. someone had to come from the town I was going to, so it made sense.

To my great surprise they came even earlier. The kind driver had said he warmed up the car for me as he knew it would be cold. He had also said he came as quick as he would because he saw that he was picking a female that late at night. It just made my day to see the consideration.

I had been so upset with my journey, i hadn't planned to chat with the driver. His friendliness, courtesy and kind consideration meant I cooled down and we had a nice chat as he drove me home. And as a female, I felt safe the whole time. Even in his stories, I could tell he is a genuinely kind, helpful and selfless person.

I am so grateful for this kind of service because after the journey I had, I needed it. Thank you so much. I will definitely be using happicabs when i need to use a cab and I highly recommend them. Thank you once again

After a long day in Broomfield A&E, it was great to see our taxi arrive. We were bushed and our driver seemed to understand and not talk too much. Good run home and we very much hope he managed to avoid the congestion we saw at the top of 3 mile hill, on his way home.

The taxi claimed to have turned up but didn’t. When I spoke to the driver her had gone to totally the wrong location and tried to blame me. Disgusting service

Our driver from Braintree train station to home on Friday 27th November was exceptional. He was there when the train pulled into the station and was extremely pleasant and polite. To add to this my husband left his hat in the taxi and the driver went out of his way to come back today and reunite it with him. We cannot recommend it higher. Thank you

Booked taxi day in advance but Happicabs only allocated a taxi AFTER I called asking why it was late. Turned up 20 mins late. Gets 2 stars because the driver was pleasant

Why your drivers have to cary two billing machines: one for the happy cab and one for himself. They give different prices for identical length of journey. One driver wanted me to pay before journey £12 “standard fare”; otherwise he won’t go! The return journey was a different driver. He took a long time to let me have the price at the end of journey. He found £11.50 on his phone but as soon as I mentioned that the forward journey was £12, the driver insisted that he wanted £12 too! It’s all about honesty and integrity of a taxi company or any public transport. Perhaps I should go to Fareway next time after years of loyalty with happy cab!

Arrived on time with a nice polite driver in a nice clean car provided a pleasant journey cannot complain I will definitely use again.

Booked a cab an hour in advance. 10 mins late - (hadn’t been marked as on way either) called up was told ‘not to worry’ would be around 5/7 mins. So in total 20mins late. Well I will worry as I missed my train- ended up cancelling the cab.

I have previously had to cancel a pre-paid cab and never got a refund having called 3 times. I suspect this time there will be no refund either. Disappointing and disgusting attitude and service

A Happycabs driver (Ali) was available straight away even though it was a busy Friday morning & other taxis had nearly an hour's wait. The driver's car was very clean & had a nice refreshing scent (not like some other taxi drivers were you get hit by the smell of stale cigarette smoke as soon as open the door!) The driver was polite & kept me updated of his arrival via mobile/tracking. This was my first time using Happycabs & it won't be the last.
