Don’t worry your cab is only 20mins late!
Booked a cab an hour in advance. 10 mins late - (hadn’t been marked as on way either) called up was told ‘not to worry’ would be around 5/7 mins. So in total 20mins late. Well I will worry as I missed my train- ended up cancelling the cab.
I have previously had to cancel a pre-paid cab and never got a refund having called 3 times. I suspect this time there will be no refund either. Disappointing and disgusting attitude and service

A reliable and prompt service
A Happycabs driver (Ali) was available straight away even though it was a busy Friday morning & other taxis had nearly an hour's wait. The driver's car was very clean & had a nice refreshing scent (not like some other taxi drivers were you get hit by the smell of stale cigarette smoke as soon as open the door!) The driver was polite & kept me updated of his arrival via mobile/tracking. This was my first time using Happycabs & it won't be the last.

A Ride With Missing Details
Booked through the app, which apparently believes in mystery over clarity — no mention of how many passengers the vehicle can take. We were five; the taxi was four; the maths did not add up. The driver’s attitude didn’t help either. A little transparency (and politeness) would go a long way.

I booked a taxi for 6:30 to arrive at work at 6:45, but the taxi arrived at 6:41! He texted me that he had arrived before I even arrived!! My work was delayed because of the taxi.

It appears that it will be 15 minutes late from the time I booked and the delay is constantly increasing.
The taxi I booked for 6.30 is supposed to arrive at 6.45. Why? I'm late for work.

Paying twice for one ride.
I pay on the app and yet I'm still expected to pay the driver extra if his meter says the ride cost more than what the app has given me. I shouldn't have to pay twice for one ride?
