What happened to the customer service?!?

Hanna Andersson used to have great customer service, but things seemed to have changed!
I placed an order at 11:57pm. I happened to go back and look at something a few minutes later, and saw that a sale went into effect at midnight and now everything was significantly cheaper. I sent an email to customer service 30 minutes after I placed the order asking if the price could be adjusted. I certainly did not expect anyone to reply in the middle of the night, but I did want it documented that I had requested a price adjustment within 35 mins of placing the order.
I called the next morning as soon as they opened, (so 6 hours after the order was placed) and explained the situation and asked for a price adjustment. I was on hold for 10 minutes, after which a representative told me they do not do price adjustments, and I would have to return the items and just place a new order. I also asked them to just cancel the order, but she said she could not do that either. I understand that there has to be a reasonable timeframe in which customers could request price adjustments. However, it certainly seemed to me that this was a situation for which a price adjustment should be given! I’ve been a longtime customer and a little goodwill would have gone a long way here. I’ll be looking to take my business elsewhere.

I used to shop at the Hanna Anderson…

I used to shop at the Hanna Anderson brick and mortar store- but since they are only online now, I ordered from them online. Decided to return a pair of pjs- had to pay return shipping, ok, some places still do that, BUT I was just told it take 4 WEEKS TO GET THE REFUND???? TERRIBLE. that's the last order I place.

Zero Rating deserved

Zero deserved. This company should not be used for business/clothing. My family has ordered here several times, I found how bad they are from reviews and this experience: they my grandson a toddler size that is completely 2.6 in. less that the 2T size dimensions on line! IVery short. I got no Customer service of any kind, email or phone, sorry we can do nothing. we now have event planned and must buy another holiday pj, and will do so with a quality company. The bot chat gave my daughter a return label, but with gift certificate instead of a return. As it was my order, my attempt to remedy a refund was met with "We cannot stop the mailing labels so this will take a month to get to some resolution!!!! I will not pay for another s/h , get another potentially poorly sized defective garment, but most importantly it is way beyond our event in 2 weeks., we need to find another company. This group treats customers worse than I have ever experienced!!!! They have now lost three family's business, we will hold a raffle for this small set, and seek a positive of a donation charity give away to find some meaningful way out of a dysfunctional and ruthless company.'s treatment. I will use it as protest for this company, as a way of saying NO to being treated like we mean nothing, No trust No humanity. My $150. spent here for my grandsons a waste of time. they should be happy we placed such an order in this time financial hardship.

Will never buy again unless they change…

Will never buy again unless they change their exchange policy.
1. They don't let you exchange for a different size, even if the item is in stock at the same price, and the order hasn't shipped. This should be possible!!
2. They take forever to ship. Add about a week to their estimated delivery date. Still waiting for my last order.
3. They charge a return shipping fee of $7.5 per order and won't let you ship multiple orders back in one shipment. Most companies let you pick your own return shipping method, and many do happy returns and even let you return for free, unpackaged. This company is super behind..

Not happy that I placed two orders same…

Not happy that I placed two orders same day for grandsons who live in different places, paid shipping and handling on one order as it was less than 50.00, the second order was 95.00 and it was sent out fairly quickly, and the smaller order with S/H has not even left facility.
What a way to treat customers, my four grand sons will get pj's at different times, not ok in this event. I have read all these bad reviews about the s/h, so I will not order from this company again for our holiday pj/s.
FYI-C.S. lady rather snippy and reading from cookbook on policy. Just added to the fun.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They sent one of three items to an old address. Had to have my former neighbor retrieve and send to me. Hanna customer service person was patronizing. Service is horrible and nonexistent.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Charged me for an order that was almost $200 but never received a confirmation email. Reached out to the company via email about receiving my order number, etc. and never heard back. Talked to two agents online and they both told me the charge would fall off in 3-5 business days since the order wasn’t in their system however, the charge was not pending it had already gone through… when I explained that, I never got a response back. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessionalism. Worst company ever. Ended up having to go through my credit card company to take the charge off.

Product never received

I decided to write a review about my experience and not to my surprise I see I am not alone with a negative review. My product was over a week late and sitting in another state for over six days. It was super late getting to me. I called twice and they refuse to give me my money back and told me to keep waiting. It was a gift, so I had to go buy something else. I’m still waiting. I disputed the charge on my credit card, so I feel that is the only way I will get my money back. I will not order from them again!

Wish I read all the comments before i…

Wish I read all the comments before i order. My niece love bluey so order from them. In 12 hrs they change the price and they dont adjust price before it ship. If you want cancel reorder than sorry you have paid $7
Go other place to find more better "policy" company.

Refused to cancel order

I ordered a romper for $75, only to see it go on sale for $45 less than 12 hours later. I emailed their support team since my order had not yet shipped and asked if I could either cancel my existing order so I could reorder at the same price or receive a refund for the cost difference. I was told they are unable to cancel orders once made (which is wild - what company can't cancel an order? One that hasn't shipped yet?) and that my only option would be to pay a $7.50 restocking fee to return the romper and repurchase it.

This is the first and last time I will…

This is the first and last time I will ever order from this company. The clothes are absolutely adorable but the package took 10 business days to arrive. They sent it FedEx and it sat Kentucky for 3 days. This was a gift so I never actually got to see the outfits. But I was told they had a horrible odor to them. It was so bad they would not even try them on their child. They are going to wash them and hope that that will do the trick.

Regarding the Hanna-me-downs resale…

Regarding the Hanna-me-downs resale section of their site: I sold a brand new pair of pajamas, still in their unopened factory plastics with tags. The buyer received them, opened them, and washed them, and then opened a return because of a stain. Hanna approved it and I didn’t get paid and I am getting back an opened stained and washed pair of pajamas when I sent a factory unopened pair. They will do nothing and said they have to believe the buyer since she requested a return in the allotted window, even though my photos clearly show they were new and unopened. I will never get my money back and they won’t offer me any solution. She refused to escalate or offer any form of compensation. I would avoid them as they are dishonest and uncaring about anything other than making their money!

Sent wrong size, would not allow return

I purchased a clothing item from their second hand store. I was sent a different size from what I ordered. I reported this with my delivery email to customer service. They told me that the order had been “completed” therefore the seller received the money already and it could not be undone. I asked if they would contact seller and see if size was mailed to be by mistake. The seller admitted that she sold the item under the wrong size. I was then told by the service representative that I still could not get my money back and I would have to resell the item on the site myself! They offered me $7 “as a courtesy.”
None of this was my fault yet the seller ended up with my money knowing that she made the mistake and I ended up with a romper that was too small for my child and a $7 refund…
I didn’t like the way this was handled. I will never shop here again.

BEWARE!!!

First the size I always wear was too small. That can happen, but they expect me to not only pay for the original shipping, but the return shipping and the shipping for the larger size. And on top of that, pay $7.50 return fee. All of that is more than the cost of the shirt. I’ll use it as a rag and write it off to a bad experience.

Hanna Won't Acknowledge or Fix Their Shipping Problems

Hanna shipped my order to an old address in another state, one I had not used in 3 years of dealing with the company. When I contacted them, they were totally dismissive, saying they used the address on my credit card. I pointed out that my credit card sends my bills to the correct address so that could hardly have been the source of the problem. The representative kept saying his supervisor said there was nothing they could do. When I asked to speak to the supervisor I was put on hold for 50 minutes. I finally hung up. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of Hannas for over 10 years for all of my grandchildren...no more!

Worst customer service in baby clothes space

Hanna was known as a premium brand. Under current ownership it is clear optimizing for short term profits.
Basic shipping takes 14+ business days which when you order kids clothes makes them unwearable. I reached out on an order pending for over two weeks, sitting at a distribution facility less than 2 hours from my house and the team refused to speak to me as their delivery timeline hadn’t passed.
Hanna has exceptionally rude customer service agents. Don’t let the loyalty program fool you. They treat every person regardless of what you spent like they don’t need your money and don’t care. They won’t be seeing another cent from me. Stay away and save yourself the hassle

Unable to adjust order minutes after…

I noticed I accidentally ordered the incorrect size on an item and reached out within an hour of placing the order, but they would not modify the order. I wish I would have known before hand! This is ultimately my fault, but many companies are flexible with order cancellation/modifications within the first few hours of placing an order. I wish Hanna Andersson could do better with customer service in this way. I will just try to give the item away because I hate to waste all the emissions to ship back a single item and get the correct size shipped to me again, not to mention I would pay $8 in shipping both ways. The clothes are great quality and I find are much easier to remove stains than cheaper brands. Just beware of your size selections!

This company has hit rock bottom

This company has hit rock bottom. I have purchased $K's at this company, and my first return of clothes that were too big is a nightmare and a joke. When I order, they take my $ immediately, and when I have to return, it takes over a month for refund, still NONE. I am assuming this is most likely illegal and against better business bureau expectations. NEVER AGAIN will I order anything from Hanna Andersson, NEVER.

Terrible Customer Service for a "Premium" Brand

I have spent nearly $1000 on this brand over the last three years and the company is unable to resolve their own returns process to save me $8.

Apparently once the return process is started there is no way to stop or alter it. I accidentally ordered duplicates in my last haul. Went into the website to return AND THEN realized the socks I received were the wrong size. When I asked to combine my returns so as to save the second $8 processing fee I was told by two separate people it couldn't be done. Okay, I guess I won't spend another thousand dollars using this brand over the next three years!

My order showed shipped, but they actually canceled it, without ever notifying me

I have purchased from Hanna Andersson several times, appreciated the quality of the product, and never had any issues with ordering.

On April 2, I placed an order, and when I checked the status of my order a few days later, the order tracking showed that my order was filled, and in a shipping box, awaiting pickup from the carrier.

I found it odd that after over two weeks, the item hadn't yet arrived to the recipient, and when I checked again, it showed that the order was canceled! I was never notified of anything, just waiting around for a child's birthday gift that would never arrive.

When I contacted customer service, I was told that they automatically canceled the order, since I used a different email address to order it, so the system assumed it was fraud. First of all, lots of people have more than one email address (I would say most people do....) and people change their email address (it's not strange to use gmail now instead of Yahoo, is it?) Additionally, the recipient was the same recipient my previous orders have been shipped to. A simple human looking at my order would have seen that this is the same address I usually ship my orders to; nothing fishy about that at all!

I was very upset that I was not only never notified that my order was canceled (they had my phone number, after all... the same phone number I've had for decades...) but also, their website falsely showed that my order had already been completed, and was en route to the shipper! If they had canceled it after the first couple of days, I would have noticed when I checked the status!

The company seemed rather unconcerned about my predicament. After I called their customer service line initially, and then followed up with an email, they did offer me free expedited shipping, but I said it was too little too late; they have lost a longtime customer.
