I ordered from Guitarbitz through Amazon and was surprised by a 68 euro fee for customs into France due to a post-Brexit issue. However, Guitarbitz impressed me greatly by promptly reimbursing the amount, absorbing the import duty themselves. Fantastic customer service!
After doing some research on local music stores, I made a five hour round trip to Guitarbitz Guitar Shop in Bath to collect my Takamine acoustic guitar. As expected Sam was very helpful and nothing too much trouble.
I would not hesitate to recommend this music store and is definitely worth a look around at the instruments they have on display.
I
Nice guitar shop in Bath, very friendly and helpful staff and a huge range of guitars. I only needed some new strings but they have some tasty guitars upstairs I'll need to save for
I ordered a fender player butterscotch telecaster and the service I received was phenomenal! My guitar was a pre order and I was kept in the loop the whole time and it was QCd for me ! Just a huge thanks to Sam especially thank u very much and I will be ordering from here in the future !
Friendly and knowledgeable team with a great selection of guitars and gear.
My first stop shop for anything with 6 strings.
Highly recommended!
Had a return (manufacturers fault). Sam and his team were ahead of the manufacturers in both service and support. Well done and many thanks. Alan
I paid Guitarbitz (via Amazon) for shipping only to have the shipper send me an 68 euro invoice to cover duty into France (a post-Brexit glitch). And guess what! Once they found out about it, Guitarbitz immediately refunded my money….I.e. they took the hit for the import duty. Very impressive!
I purchased a ukulele from Guitarbitz through Amazon.
You can tell how good a company is when something goes wrong; and when Amazon messed up my order, I emailed Guitarbitz and they responded within the hour. They sorted a replacement for the next day.
They use next day delivery that has an hour time slot so you don't have to wait around all day. The instrument was extremely well packaged.
I would recommend
I've bought a few items from Guitarbitz over the last seven years or so and have always found them to be excellent, both for price & service.
My latest acquisition from them was an ex-display Fender Mustang I modelling amp I ordered yesterday and which arrived around 10.40 this morning. Can't fault anything with regard to the super-quick delivery, so how about the item in question? Well, you wouldn't know it was ex-display. It was spotless, well-boxed and works like a dream (I've been putting it through it's paces all day, using my trusty Epi. SG) and the bonus is that I've saved a good few quid on the usual retail price of this excellent bit of kit.
It's nice to know that there are still top notch quality retailers around, so well done and thanks Guitarbitz!
Well done ordered one day here the next.
I am very impressed and will be back
Strings arrived within 24 hours of placing order via regular post. Great price also
After a great deal of research into choosing a suitable ukulele for my young nephew, I discovered Guitarbitz and found exactly the one I was looking for at a great price. Not only did it include a genuine Laka padded carrying case, it was in stock and offered free next day delivery. Fantastic!!!! It was very straightforward & quick to order.
The ukulele duly arrived, all the way to Scotland, perfectly packaged and well within 24hours promised. I'm absolutely delighted with it and the service I received.
I am really looking forward to giving it to my nephew at the weekend for his birthday. Thank you to all at Guitarbitz.
This is my third order from Guitarbitz over about six years. I find their prices are good, they are always helpful and I've never had a problem. I trust Guitarbitz and they are my first choice for anything guitar related.
Ordered a Vintage V100 in Cherry Sunburst, with a Saturday delivery after ordering on a Friday morning... I was mainly tempted to buy online here due to
a) One of the best prices I could find; so little difference that a price promise would have just slowed down the order so I didn't ask for one
b) The promise of the 12-point pre-delivery check which included what looked like a fairly comprehensive setup.
... and I am not dissapointed. The guitar is absolutely spotless, not a blemish or fingerprint mark on any part of the instrument, and the action is about 5x lower than my last 'starter' guitar, no buzzing, no nasty uneven fretboard.... Guitarbitz will be getting more of my money in future.
Thanks very much guys, appreciate the thorough service which really sets you guys apart from the competition when it comes to buying with confidence online.

Can't extol the virtues of this site, vendor enough, been buying cheap own brand strings at Axesrus which are fine, 4 sets for £12, bought a 3 pack of D'Addario EXL115-4PBT XL Electric Guitar Strings (looking for something heavier as kept breaking high E and B strings trying to play Clapton tunes - lot of beni=ding involved)- 3-Pack with Free Balanced Tension Set - 11-49, that makes them nearly as cheap as the own brand ones, c'mon 50p extra and you're getting D'Addario, i rest my case :)
Always a pleasure I return time and time again.
I got the item with 2 broken strings . when I emailed the same day I was brushed off with wry comments. No help...
