A deeply frustrating and exploitative…

A deeply frustrating and exploitative experience

1. Their PCN payment system is misleading. Even if you've already paid, the link remains active and allows further payments—without confirming whether your initial payment was successful.

2. The appeals process is a sham. You can email them, but it feels like shouting into the void. Responses are generic, templated, and always circle back to signage. POPLA isn't any better—don’t waste your time appealing there either.

3. They appear to deliberately mismanage hospital car parks to maximise revenue from PCNs, targeting vulnerable staff and patients who are often under immense stress.

Taken together, these practices feel borderline FRAUDULENT. So why do hospitals continue to contract them? I genuinely can't understand it.

Discriminatory treatment

I’m a career of a child with complex needs, as well am I disabled myself. On the 18/10 was the only day of the month I got for myself and I thought to go to the gym and have a relaxing time. I parked on Woodfields Park in Bury went the puregym, then I took a long shower and still at the gym I ate a sandwich. I started to have some chest pains and on 13/10 I literally been hospitalised for this, I explained what happened that day and also showed the picture of the blue badge. Still they claimed that my appeal was not valid, so from a moment that should be relaxed it became a nightmare. I ended up cancelling my membership at the gym because the last thing I want it’s too feel the pressure on and I will never back again there.

Penalised for their app being down

Penalised for their app being down and when calling them it isn’t instant and are on hold for 20 mins. Appealed and showed proof of the app not accepting payments and paying over the phone was other option I used. I even asked the agent can the time of me entering the carpark be adjusted correctly so I pay for time I have parked and they said it wasn’t possible. Appeal was rejected for a service they were not able to provide which I find astonishing and does seem like they are conning people out of money.

Should not be allowed to manage hospital carparks

This company manages parking at Nuneaton Hospital. You pay at exit usually using the machines at Hospital entrance. The Machines were out of order and sign on machine stated you didn’t have to pay. Turns out there is now an app. In tiny writing on the signs in carpark. So when I appealed the fine it took them less than 4 minutes to tell me they clearly sign post how to pay. So instead of £3 I had to pay £30. Oh and final insult an additional £1.50 charge whatever payment type you select. This is a hospital carpark. It’s been the worse company I ever encountered. Bad attitude, bad approach to customers and bad practice.

Zero stars if I could. Scamming scum bags who rip you off when you have paid for parking. Avoid them like the plague they are. Take photos of everything.

Who are these people?

I can't believe I have to give these people 1 star. I'm an unpaid member of a hospital and parked on site with 24 hour a permit and I received 3 fines for parking due to "only having a night time permit". I sent multiple pictures of my permit on the nexus platform showing I have a night time and day permit along with a 24 hour permit. They just respond ignoring the evidence- repeating I only have a night time permit. I've spend hundreds of pounds paying these tickets at an extortionate price the fines went up to after my appeals were rejected. Many hospital employees now park on residential streets around the hospital to avoid the repercussions from these awful people at Nexus- which isn't ideal for the residents living around the hospital. I wish someone could get involved and have this platform investigated.

AVOID I downloaded the app specifically that was shown on the sign. Click the correct amount of time, entered bank details and paid. £1 pending popped up from my banking app..I thought ok they take pending amount and scan reg when exiting to ensure correct amount.. no issue. However they never changed me upon existing and as pending charges don't show up on your statements after they have been cancelled I had no proof of attempting to pay and they are trying to find me over £100 for their app failing.

If I could vote zero, I would have!

If I could vote zero, I would have.
I already have an appeal in place and they have sent me another letter doubling the fine that I should not have got in the first place. They do show clear parking policy signs. I have tried every which way to contact them to no avail. I was told on a recorded message if I wanted to speak to someone then to call 02087313106. The number is a dead number. I am truly disgusted with this behaviour. How dare you demand £100 from me when there is an appeal in place.

PCN for charging car at EV point and no…

PCN for charging car at EV point and no grace period of ten minutes/ Ticket issued after 6 mins. They rejected my appeal but I think the letter they sent to me was generated by AI it made no mention of the EV parking. Then they said I could pay the reduced charge of £60 not £170. When I attempted this the online form asked for all of my card details icnluding the CVC at the back to be typed inbto an online form! Made me suspicious so tried to call the payment line and of course its not working. Checked on here and can see actually they are totally scammers and opportunisits - preying on drivers who fear escalating charges.

I will be taking this further and writing to my local Derby MP and the government. Why should this company be allowed to rob people of their hard earned money, especially during hard times!!!!!!!! I will NEVER park in a company owned by this company again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. And if you do make sure you read their signs that are THERE TO CATCH PEOPLE OUT AND GET PEOPLES MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very poor quality of documents.

"We’re delivering the future of parking through data, technology and service excellence."
Despite this statement from their website the letter I received looked like it had been created by an eight year old! The layout and content quality was pathetic considering the serious nature of the subject. Quality standards don't seem to apply to this company.

Absolutely appalling company

Absolutely appalling company, i tried to pay for my parking 5 times and the app would not let me, I was parked for 28 minuets, I then got a fine for not paying so I appealed with evidence of me trying to pay and they responded saying that there are clear signs saying I need to pay which I tried to do!! I now have to pay £170, disgusting.

Avoid parking at hospital, take an Uber instead.

Scam company, operating at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, had to pay several fines for having a Blue Badge on for cancer treatment. Utterly disgraceful. BEWARE ANPR cameras at both the main hospital and Acre Mills, I wouldn't mind, no ether hospital has anything like enough parking for either cars or disable bays... An utter shambles and run by a shambolic company Group Nexus, the cowards who hide behind ANPR.
