Julia Hurren at GriffithsIngs is my go-to person to support with a range of property-related activities, not just simple selling/purchasing - she has helped with adverse possessions, and re-arranging ownership of properties. Julia has always provided first-rate service and been pro-active in chasing third parties, and is excellent at explaining the details of complex processes in a simple manner. I will certainly be requesting Julia to help with my next property sale.

Zahrah was our solicitor so happy and pleased with the service we got very thorough and helped so much. I did have a very bad experience with another solicitor firm which really put me off buying a house but Zahrah soon changed that. And also could phone up anytime day or night not a problem highly recommend this firm and if you get Zahrah a bonus 5 stars if not more

Being a Professional Financial Adviser and Mortgages Broker for over 38 years I have used Griffiths Ings Property Lawyers, and Mrs Clare Touhig-Gamble for many, and my own, Legal requirements in Selling and the Purchase of numerous properties over the last five years. I have found their knowledge and speedy turn around to be excellent. Not only that I have always, and my clients too, been kept on the progress of the transaction. I can certainly recommend this Company, their work and Mrs Clare Touhig-Gamble in particular.

I have dealt with Zahrah Aullybocus for 5 conveyancing / property transactions in the last 18 months and have found her extremely good in every respect - which is why I keep going back. Where she particularly excels (and where in my experience other solicitors simply don't get it) is her communication skills TO ME. If you ask a question she answers it - if you leave a message, she calls you back, if you send an email, she responds. She is available, helpful, willing and extremely competent - what more could you want.

Can’t fault the service from Sarah and Rachel. They have both been excellent with my sale and purchase. Would highly recommend.

Buying or selling a house in the UK is usually frustrating and stressful. I was so glad to find Julia Hurren - I found her to be efficient, timely and straightforward. Her communication was excellent (she was very supportive, and has a wonderfully dry sense of humour that really helped during the stressful bits!) and she was on the ball with the various organisations she had to deal with. I have recommended her to others - based on my experience you will be in good hands with her.

I used Julia @ griffiths ings and she was fantastic! As first time buyers she made sure that we understand derstood everything and was very attentive to our probably silly questions. Our sellers were so slow but she kept on at their lawyers and always kept me updated.
I would recommend her and this company to anyone.

So slow, 5 months and still not a completed house sale. Other solicitors in the chain have been ready for 2 months and are Frustrated with the lack of communication and not returning emails or phone calls. The Solicitors are self-employed and work under the umbrella of Griffiths Ings and the one we are using has no boss’s to answer too so therefore have no urgency to complete their tasks. I’m sure not all the solicitors working out of Griffiths Ings are incompetent but the one we are using is. So be careful when choosing this company.

Even 1 star is too 1 too many! I was recommended Griffiths ings by my mortgage advisor worst advice given and taken. Took 4 months to complete sale and another 8 months for management account to be transferred after completion, no thanks to griffths ing. Sorted through myself and previous owner. Rude incompetent staff never return calls, never acknowledge emails. Formal complaint ignored now going through Omnudsman. My advice? Steer well away!

My experience of this firm is nothing but shocking. The Female lawyer i have been assigned via Countrywide Conveyancing services has no communication skills or proactiveness at all.
my first sale failed due to the buyers getting cold feet. This wouldn't of happened if the simple process. (no chain) had been followed in the timely manner it should of been.
im not 10 weeks into the second offer on my house and they still haven't processed the questions received from the buyers lawyers. The company is POOR POOR POOR land especially KD

We have just completed on the purchase of a property 245 miles from where we live. The Barry branch were so very helpful. There were delays, there always is, but the team that looked after us were very patient, explained matters clearly and genuinely wanted to help. OK a couple of situations which were a bit slow or frustrating but these were rectified efficiently and with grace. I would say good value for money and I would use them again

We have used Griffiths Ings Cardiff office twice and our experience was excellent.
We received regular updates and the whole process was very smooth.
Very professional friendly staff.
We would highly recommend using them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

No communication skills at all. Ignore all phone calls, e-mails letters etc. not just from their clients but from the other side's solicitors. I am now being held in breach of contract by my buyers solicitors because Griffiths are holding funds which should have been paid over to the buyers solicitors months ago.

COMPLETE SHAM OF A COMPANY - DO NOT USE

Have been consistently poor and caused no end of stress. We've gotten to the point where we've even had to contact the ombudsman as the internal complaints process is so shockingly managed and transparently in place to protect their colleagues. This company has genuinely caused anguish, upset and distress. They should be ashamed.

Useless, don't bother using them. Was supposed to move over a month ago every time we get close another excuse and another. They don't care about you at all have a very half soaked attitude as it doesn't affect them. NOT GOOD ENOUGH LUCY CHOAT's TEAM

This company are completely incompetent, rude and unprofessional. They are also extremely expensive compared to others in the market that I'm sure would offer a better service!

GRIFFITHS INGS are solicitors to AVOID!!!
I purchased my house in 2016 which they conveyed and remortgaged in 2017. In 2017 the conveyancer dealing with the transaction noticed that there were 2 titles one subject to a lease that hadn't been merged correctly as per standard practice. This obviously caused a massive issue for us moving forward as it's something that should've been lawfully resolved (via admission of the directing partner of Griffiths Ings) at the initial conveyancing. Cut a long story short as this has taken over a year to resolve and at every stage they failed to meet their deadlines set out in their own complaints procedure we took the matter to the ombudsman. Equally this has been a very time consuming and stressful experience and we have lost many hours of our own time trying to resolve this. The ombudsman informed us that Griffiths Ings were issuing a compensation cheque by the 12th July. To our surprise NOT this didn't turn up and resulted in further time and exasperating communication again. For THEIR FAILURE and lawful incompetence we have finally been issued with a cheque today for a measly £500. I would like to say a huge thank you for Griffiths Ings lack of professionalism, being unable to adhere to their own procedures and utter negligence. Let this be a warning to other customers.....DO NOT USE THEM!

Affordable, quick to respond, detailed, speak in plain English that is understandable. I fully trust Sally and the team and have used them on both my purchases and sales and would recommend to everyone
