Bought a car for my daughter from greenpont. Car was exactly as advertised if not better Really nice sales man William.Had to wait for me as I couldn't get there till the evening and I was a bit late.M.O.T. had been done that day came with 6 months warranty and delivered to my house free of charge 9am next morning .fantastic service would definitely recommend Greepoint

Spotted a Volvo V70 through AutoTrader which Greenpoint was advertising. William responded immediately and comprehensively to my message enquiry, and within a few hours we had done the deal by phone for its purchase. William delivered it all the way from Epping to Dorset personally, and the car was beautifully presented, exactly as advertised. When it developed an intermittent power steering issue soon after delivery, Richard committed without hesitation to resolving it, and he then made the long trip from Epping to Dorset, taking the V70 away but leaving me with a more than suitable loan replacement. The problem was diagnosed and fixed, and the V70 was then returned to me in A1 condition. I have nothing but praise for Greenpoint - their pricing is fair, they are totally professional to deal with, and as demonstrated here, they don't walk away from problems as some others might attempt to do. I would buy from them again, and thoroughly rìecommend them to anyone looking for a quality, great value used vehicle

Updated 25th Sept 2026 and removed the long list of updates on my attempt to get my money back.

I purchased a car from Richard on July 2024 and all was fine until my sister heard a noise from the front wheel. I informed Richard and also took it to a local garage. It was a wheel bearing which is just one of those things and I would've fixed it and moved on. Unfortunately, they also found that despite having a 100% clean MOT pass just 3months earlier it now suddenly has 6 majors failures (Front wings, chassis, brake pipes rusty etc) and 15 advisories.
I wanted to return the car and get a refund but they wanted me to sign an agreement stopping me from discussing the issues with anyone and I didn't think that was fair so after they brought in their "legal" people, I hired mine. After multiple attempts to get them to pay me and collect the car AND I even signed their agreement at one point but it still didn't put an end to this situation.

Fast forward just over two years later to September 25th 2026, I finally had my day in Court and they ruled in MY favor and ordered Greenpoint Car Sales to pay me the original sale price plus costs.

It's a shame that they wouldn't stick with their much lauded, "Dear all past and future customers. We fully understand, honour and respect our responsibilities as a dealer with regards to aftersales." pledge and do the right thing two years ago when this dispute started.

Whether they'll pay the judgement is another matter but this wasn't about money in the end but about showing that people won't just say, "oh well" and walk away.

William made the experience of buying a second hand car completely stress free and responded to me in an honest and open way. I would definitely recommend to friends and family

Truthful and honest description. I purchased a lovely jaguar from Richard and his son. He drove 4 hrs to deliver it to my door at no extra charge. Great people to deal with.car is exactly has he discribed and we love it

Excellent service, genuine warranty, personalised experience.

My experience with this company was very positive. The test drive and purchasing was very smooth, and they held the car for me until I could pick it up. The car came with a 6-month warranty, and unfortunately I had an engine fault light appear during this time. But Richard and William were professional in handling this, coming out to my house to run diagnostics and then arranging for repair. This was all sorted within 10 days, and they even had the car cleaned for me before returning it. I would highly recommend purchasing from this company, and it was nice to see a car dealer take the warranty seriously and deal with issues in a efficient and professional manner.

What a nice bloke ! , part ex'd my car with Richard for a fair price and bought a car which collected , free delivery was offered but due to work I decided to collect the car earlier which wasn't a problem for Richard . The car had tonnes of history as described and drives great no issues ,although I did notice it was due an oil service , I contacted Richard and within half an hour money was put in my account to get the oil service booked in . Quite rare these days you have such a personal service ,I've always bought new cars and the aftercare I've had has been atrocious with big companies this time I finally bought a car which is old but one I've always wanted with the spec ,history I wanted and I'm just glad I bought it from a company that deals with there customers the way greenpoint have dealt with me . Going off this experience I'd have no issue buying from them again .

this is a company that is one in a million,in this day and age, where else would you find a person to talk plain english instead of waffling saying on with the sale being the be all and end all. William and Richard listen to what you are saying. the standard of service is perfection, the quality of the cars exceptional and with free delivery I certainly rate this company 100%

Having never purchased a car without physically seeing it we were very apprehensive. Will and Richard took dozens of excellent photos of the car both inside and out . They also did a walk round video . This gave us the confidence to go ahead with the purchase and our car was delivered in person, without fuss today. The condition was as described and we never even had to leave our house! Extremely pleasant people to deal with and would highly recommend them to others.
