Having held our 15th Annual Band Reunion on Saturday 21st October 2023.
(The Regimental Band Reunion of the Woofers)
We were all so delighted with how the event went.
We are particularly pleased with the Service and the Meals we received.
The General Manager Andy and his Staff were so accommodating.
The Food was exceptional. The Service was First Class.
The Staff went out of their way to accomodate our Menu Requests.
Everyone that attended commented on how smooth the service went. We had around 30 people attending the Reunion.
The Organisation and Delivery of the food was First Class.
We would Strongly Recommend to anyone looking for a Venue for an event to choose The Coopers Brooke in Daybrooke Nottingham.
A Massive Thankyou to Andy and the Staff of the Coopers Brooke.
We will see you all again next year for our 16th Annual Band Reunion.

Visited Overstone Manor for my Son's Birthday tonight (a party of 9) The food was of excellent quality and great value for money. The staff were very busy, yet still managed to go above and beyond to make our experience with them first class. Johnny was very attentive, cheerful and friendly. He is a real asset to your company. A big thank you to Johnny and the team, you were all amazing. We will definitely be back again soon and will highly recommend Overstone Manor to family and friends.

Great quality food at a good price served by Tina, Eva and Melissa helpful friendly staff. Enjoyable quiz night and a great selection of real ales.

My wife and I went to The Dunes Hotel Latham road
Blackpool on 18/10/23. We had the senior citizen meal
three course , and had the soup , hunters chicken and
chips with salad then ice cream . Everything was so
tasty,beautiful,good quality good portions and such a
good price. We have been to other pubs and paid
double . Such nice pleasant helpful staff. Going again
soon as poss. Thank you

Dreadful meal last night 🤮Had the Chicken New Yorker. Chicken hard and very dry… bacon over cooked cheese was hard sauce dry chips n peas cold.

People were sending meals around us. We went in just before 6pm one would think the meal would be fresh.

Worse meal ever!! Asked if wanted heated up🙈

Think you should send a secret diner before the place goes under.

Today 8/10/23 went for a remembrance dinner for my late husband,at the Chesterfield on Burton road Derbyshire near Newhall, there was 9 of us, sofie the manager was amazing and sorted tables for us, there was a young man behind the bar who's service was excellent (sorry can't remember his name but I know he'd worked for you before and just come back onto your team) the meals came quickly and the carvery was fresh and excellent, the service was excellent the waitresses chloe very professional and kept checking we were okay and nothing seamed to be a problem even though they were busy whilst I was there so to end my review I'd give 10 out of 10 to the team that day and would recommend the Chesterfield arms to everyone. Thank you again for making my day special xx💖

The staff was very welcoming , polite but unfortunately my carvery was to its usual standard , the mash potato was lumpy and roast potatoes was hard ,
Also i found it off putting the manger was on next booth to me shouting staff over for a review or something i could hear everything and saw the laptop screen , also i saw the managers underwear when she stood up which i found very uncomfortable , over all I would recommend silkwood farm as normal its alot smoother better service

Went for a meal this week at Allerton Hall Farm in Liverpool. We had the carvery, which was delicious, as usual. Decided to order a carvery and apple crumble and custard to take to my sister. The manager, Mark, arranged for it to be ready when we left. The staff were great and packaged it up so well that it was still hot when I arrived at her home. The meat was gorgeous and the crumble was to die for. Even though it was a takeaway it was just as good as it was in the actual restaurant. I will certainly do that again as it’s cheaper than cooking it for yourself and no doubt nicer!

I have been up the star on robby in Congresbury lot's of times and all ways had a great food I went up on the 28 September with my friends we could not enjoy are meal because we were getting invaded by flies the hole pud was covered with them very disappointed so will go back for a while

Took my elderly mum for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My mum has Parkinson's and Dementia and the staff were amazingly kind and attended to her needs with compassion, understanding and kindness. The food was very good value and the portion sizes were just right for my mum on the senior deal. A lovely place with a warm welcoming experience.

Rude and cocky staff booked a table of 23 not on the same table 3 separate tables away from each other and asked to leave after 2 hours even though nobody had had desserts and Queded for 30 mins to order mains apparently we could have desert outside thy needed the table for another party of people

We are at the Marquis, Rotherham. The food was reasonably priced. The carvery was, as always delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were cooked to our liking, slight bite to them. The curry was very nice, and a generous portion size.
All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. They greeted us as we went in, and came to check on us and ask if we needed anything.
The pub was clean and welcoming.
It was just a shame that this pub doesn't accept Student Beans discount.

To good to go collection at The Kings Horse Stafford was great. Madge was excellent and polite

Could be such a lovely place but the unfortunately the service is a major downfall. There are more than enough staff here but when they are chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers is really upsetting to say the least.
Unfortunately this has been accepted by the regulars who say “but that’s always been the way here” which is sad really when poor service is an accepted as the norm.

I did witness a customer pointing out the lack of service but it wasn’t received very well, the complete opposite in fact so maybe that’s way regulars accept the lack of service ?

Such a shame really as this is really is a nice place with a great location.

final point: Maybe some quality control on the food wouldn't go amiss as we had to send a dish back to be re-cooked while my partner was eating hers. Defeats the point of going out together for dinner really when a simple mistake ruined the dining experience.

Popped into the Kittoch for a couple of drinks with my wife.
Ordered a Guinness - “sorry, we have no Guinness”. Ordered a beer - “sorry, we have none of that beer”. Ordered a Rioja - “sorry we have no Rioja”. Ordered a Merlot - came in a filthy glass that had to be swapped.
Very poor show.

I recently visited ye olde cross keys in witney.
I used to visit on a regular basis however now I won't be! the atmosphere as soon as I walked in was awful it made myself and my friend feel very uncomfortable. The staff on shift were drinking behind the bar, which I think is slightly inappropriate inappropriate in a family pub. They were swearing qmongst themselves which again is terrible considering there were young children present. The scruffy looking fellow that was behind the bar gropping the 'manager' really put us off eating here!.
It really needs a cleaner I dread to think when the place had a proper clean!

Went to the Golden eagle in Cleveleys today. Ordered food which took over an hour to come. It was then cold and tasted disgusting. What had happened to this pub! Won’t be eating here again. Hearing the same from friends in the local area!
