Tom was very helpful and took his time to make sure my daughter got the right walking boots and the then made sure she got the right fit and even showed her how to tie the laces whilst breaking them in, impressed by Toms care the shop got busy and he did a great job of keeping the other customers satisfied as well, I was impressed by his professionalism and care in what he did. Perfect fit
I was looking for a pair of walking trousers so visited your store in Bakewell. I found exactly what I wanted which surprised me as I am very short but found a pair that were the perfect length. The gentleman who served me asked me about membership which I was unaware of. The membership cost £5 but saved me £15 on the trousers. Very impressed.

A well stocked store with very helpful staff
A well stocked store. Roger, who served me, couldn’t have been more helpful. He took time to get me completely comfortable with the walking poles I had bought and I left feeling that next time I need items the shop sells, I would definitely go back there.

We visited the Bakewell Express store…
We visited the Bakewell Express store whilst visiting the area. We were served by James who was friendly and personable. When we mentioned we were looking for a local visitor interest area, James happily provided us with directions which were welcomly received. A lovely visit, brilliant store with great friendly staff!

Great staff
James was excellent, assisted in finding the right size hat in the price range we were expecting to pay. Very patient and helpful and worked out that I should renew my membership in order to get the best price. At the counter Tom was very efficient and cheerful even including their names on my receipt.

Excellent help in supplying Leather Hiking Boots
Excellent attentive service and help in replacing my worn out 22 year old leather Scarpa boots. Two options offered and careful advice in which pair would be best to fit my narrow feet. I opted for a pair of Meindl boots. Nice to see the Bakewell shop so well stocked.
