James was great offered us the club membership card so we could save more money! Will definitely visit again

We visited The Bakewell Store on Wednesday 12th September initially to purchase a new sleeping bag for my wife.
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Roger.
As there’s a sale on at the moment we decided to take a look around. We asked Roger to help us with our purchase choices, he was more than happy to advise and take out to display some of the items that we were looking at.
Roger was professional and friendly at all times and to be honest we wouldn’t have bought so many things a sleeping bag purchase finished with spending £712 in the store. We don’t actually live in Bakewell we live in Sandbach around 90 minutes away, so it would have been easier for us to buy from the store in Crewe. However as Roger had been so helpful and such a likeable man we decided that we would return to the Bakewell store on Sunday when he returned from a couple of days break.
Roger is a credit to the go outdoors team and I would recommend visiting the Bakewell store when you are in the area.

Ruby was very helpfully and knowledgeable. She was very patient with my Dad very smiling and picked up on my Dad’s sense of humour. Nothing was to much trouble.

We were visiting Bakewell in our new motorhome and needed a folding table. We went into the store and a very helpful gentleman showed us where everything was we needed. He was a credit to your company, his customer service was delightful and very knowledgeable. Thank you James of Go Outdoors in Bakewell.

Bought a pair of walking shoes. Served by Roger ( the manager ?) very well. He seemed knowledgeable about the shoes and was helpful and patient.
Can’t ask for more really.

Roger helped us professionally to choose the right shoes for our hikes in the country. Very satisfied with the assortment of the shop too.

James was extremely friendly and helpful when we visited the Bakewell store yesterday. He went over and above to ensure we had the correct product for our needs (we purchased a walking pole). He was extremely patient, courteous and genuinely lovely. I could not recommend him and the store enough. Thank you James and all at the Bakewell Go Outdoors. 😊

The staff there are incredible, Rodger helped us find what we needed and helped us find our discount card when it came time to pay, it’s always a wonderful experience in this store

James, Zach and Toby were amazing. They were friendly and helpful. I was midway through a camping weekend and needed some extra supplies and they helped me find everything I needed. My wife, waiting at the campsite with a busted Achilles, was thrilled with my purchases. Great work, lads!

I went to the shop to buy walking trainers and Morgan served me. She was superb, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. I love shopping at your stores and your staff are !’ so good. Please never reduce staff numbers. Finally, James at the till was great as well.

James made us feel welcome and his views on camp chairs was extremely helpful.

My wife and I were looking for walking trousers and a few other things. Bakewell was hot, humid and heaving with visitors but Roger immediately gave us his undivided personal attention. He was courteous and helpful, and clearly knew his stuff. Combine that with his sense of humour and you can understand why we actually enjoyed our shopping trip. Thanks, Roger!

Great customer service and value for money

My husband and I were nearby Bakewell for the weekend to do some hiking, but I needed new boots as my last ones didn’t last. We went in looking for some good quality walking boots in Bakewell GoOutdoors and Ruby helped me out. The boots I bought are the best things I have ever put on my feet! She was so lovely and helpful, and she knew what she was doing. Thanks Ruby!
