Placed an order for some overpriced chocolate for a birthday present. The delivery bounced back, despite people being home at time of delivery. The company didn't advise that the delivery bounced back and then wouldn't allow me to pick up instead. Finally, they refused to pay any refund despite not delivering anything. Avoid this company.
Excellent customer service
Ordered limited edition chocolates but due to hot weather they came melted and damaged. Customer service was excellent. Email was responded to immediately, refund was processed and complaint was resolved within the hour. Very impressed with their quick response.

Ordered chocolates for valentines day with extra paid 2 day shipping.
Package label printed on 2/10. On 2/12 (expected delivery day), order still hasn't been given to the carrier.
Godiva only offered a shipping refund. But would not give me a full refund. I have no product (or worse not gift for valentines) and they have my money.
Truly poor service. Won't ever buy from them again, no wonder all their stores have closed.

I immediately sent an email requesting cancellation. A short time later a rep named Jonathan replied saying an order could not be cancelled even though it hasn't been shipped. I responded again via text to cancel the order. Have not heard back. Order site is very deceptive. Avaiod this site.
Worst customer service
Worst customer service. I order truffles on the 13th of January and I still haven't received my order. When someone finally got back to me on the 22nd of January they said there was an issue with the address, what a load of crap. Do not order from this company!!!! Not sure what the chocolate in their stores taste like but this whole online business has been a nightmare. Never have I had such a bad experience with a company. There is no number to contact so you're at the mercy of the customer service staff via email. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Truffles are smaller than truffles in previous years and there are fewer truffles. Not the same quality as past years. Do you think customers would not notice that they are getting less for more $? Count me out as a customer. You must be trying to maximize profits but in the end you will end up loosing customers. I will not purchase again. Lots of competitors offering better quality and value.

Ordered Godiva through Virgin…
Ordered Godiva through Virgin Experience Days. Promised if ordered by 18th Dec they would arrive by Xmas - still states this on virgin experience website! However despite ordering on the 8th it's not even been dispatched ! Virgin blames Godiva and says Godiva as the supplier has had warehouse and delivery issues for 2 whole weeks, but Godiva blames virgin - very disappointing as now being told nothing is being dispatched until January, yet no communication sent to their customers and they still have the nerve to advertise the "christmas treat" even today online, 3 days after I raised the issue, that people will "recieve them by Christmas" - Not what you expect for a "luxury brand" ! And rip oft false advertising at its finest in order to simply LURE customers in to buying other products.
Beautiful Chocolates, Terrible Delivery & Customer Service
Ordered Godiva chocolates on 28th November as gifts; they arrived 11 days late, and opening them to prove they weren’t damaged from the heat made them impossible to rewrap — customer service refused any refund or replacement and showed no logic. Beautiful chocolates, but a very frustrating experience.

Food took ages to arrive
The food took a total of 1 hour to arrive..?!, the place wasn’t even packed’ people who came 30 mins after us got all their order, and mind you, I only ordered a croissant, and the price is not ideal for what you get, and when the food finally arrived , it was cold.., I do not recommend coming here unless you want to waste ur money and ur time.

I received my dress for my 40th really quickly.. when it arrived it didn’t smell great, I contacted Goddiva and they refunded a portion of my money for the inconvenience. They dress is stunning and I was complemented all night.. would defo order again. X
Worst service ever
I bought two dresses from this company through the Debenhams site in February, i returned them as nothing like advertised, cheap and nasty fabric, my money has still not been deposited in my account, first they said it would be back by the 11th March, now they are saying April…. Who knows, ? Im still waiting… going to take legal advice if its not back by then.

Disappointing experience using the website and with customer service
Should have reviewed this site before placing my order, I now hope they'll have shipped the correct item and that it will arrive in time. We made a mistake on our order, placed early evening, and immediately called only to find that they were closed. So I emailed them at the address provided, asking that they call me first thing in the morning so that I could correct the order. Instead, I received an email saying they could do nothing so I called, they escalated my concerns three times to the managerial level, all saying that there's nothing that could be done because they'd already packaged my order. The facts that they were closed during a busy holiday season shopping time -- and would or should have read my email first thing in the morning -- were of no concern to them. In hindsight, I should purchase their product in the local store and ship it via USPS where you can track the order and avoid the type of circumstances described as typical of Godiva on this site.

This is the WORST Customer Service I have ever encountered. I am so disappointed!!
I placed an order online from the Godiva website, on 11-23-24. I ordered a box of candy, with a Christmas theme box, as a Christmas gift, with a specified DELIVERY DATE FOR THE WEEK OF 12-18 -24.
I received a confirmation of my order, by email, the same day, with no delivery date indicated. So I immediately called Customer Service and found that they had mistakenly processed my order with a delivery date of 11-18-24.
I asked them to revise my order with the correct delivery date, or cancel the order, and I would re-order with the correct delivery date. The Customer Service Rep said she could do neither, IT WAS TOO LATE TO MAKE CHANGES. So I asked to speak to a Manager. I told him that this order was a Christmas gift, and I did not want it delivered UNTIL MID-DECEMBER. The Manager said the order was already sent to the warehouse to be processed and could not be changed or cancelled. So basically I was out of luck -- nobody would rectify the situation, and I was just not going to get what I ordered and what I paid for.
I am very dissatisfied -- I never heard of any company who would not allow you to revise an order!!! And I have never dealt with any company who cared so little about Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction. At the very least, they should have given me a refund.
SO, BUYER BEWARE, If they make a mistake on your order, and then refuse to revise or cancel that order, this is not a company you want to do business with.
I contacted the recipients of my gift to let them know that due to a company screw up, their Christmas present was now on the way to them -- before Thanksgiving!!!
I dislike the fact that the "freezer"…
I dislike the fact that the "freezer" bag to help keep the candy cool while in transit was not sealed! The bag of what I guess was "ice" to begin with was water and it was a dripping mess.
Since I ordered an Advent Calendar I can't comment on the quality of the chocolate yet. I just hope it's good/not melted because it's a gift for my granddaughter!
