Order at your own risk

I ordered early December and half the ordered arrived within 10 days. No information on the remainder of the order. I have reached out now 4x and have yet to get any response. I hate going to dispute charges with credit card company but it is my only recourse.

Absolutely a horrible experience

Absolutely a horrible experience with the candystore.com. I ordered a product and got shipped a different product. Nobody has returned my messages or calls for weeks now finally today I got a message from him saying you got what you got. I did not order milk, chocolate almond clusters with caramel and they just said best of luck. Do not repeat do not order from them.

Either scammers or stupid

Not sure if they're scam artists or mind numbingly incompetent. I placed an order on September 11th, messaged them Sept 27th and again on October 3rd to ask why the order hadn't even shipped yet, got no response. Filling a charge back with my bank.

Candy was damaged and an order never received

I ordered two candies - one were boston baked bean candies and some of the boxes looke as if they had gotten wet and the red was all over the boxes, ick. I couldn't put them in the table gift bags

I also ordered 10-12 packges of little chocolate baseballs and they never arrived. I wrote to customer service but have yet to hear from them. Won't order again, for sure

FRAUD COMPANY! LIARS AND THEIVES!

They state on their web site they send chocolate orders packed in ice packs to prevent them melting in hot weather, and they do not allow returns. THEY LIE! I just received an order of chocolate bars that totaled more than $80 and there were NO ICE PACKS. As a result the entire order was completely melted and ruined.

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF.

Candystore.com censors reviews

These are two reviews I left on the candystore.com website that they chose to censor.

First of all when packaging 15lbs of candy it should not be placed in a plastic bag that is thinner than a garbage bag. The bag had multiple holes in it and the candy was wet and sticky in spots. I messaged The Candy Store about this which they have choosen not to respond. I poured all of the candy into a plastic tub which it dried out in a few days. However, the candy looks really beat up since it dried and had to be broken apart. No one has got sick eating it and the flavor is more consistent than the time I ordered the large cherry sour balls from The Candy Store.

This is the second review they censored from their website on 02/04/24.

I tried these because several other reviews mention a comparison to Judson's. I grew up in Texas and was not far from Lufkin where the original cherry sours were made. Overall, about 20% of the bag is really, really good about 15% of them have a funky taste and the rest are OK. There is overall, a lot of inconsistencies in taste and texture. Roughly, 30% of the batch has a powdery texture with no chewy center. The product needs more consistency in the flavor and texture. Until then I do not think the price per pound is consistent with the quality of the product. I will keep shopping others until I find the best cherry sours. Unfortunately, Right now that is a grocery store brand at $3 a pound that a fantastic flavor and texture. However, leaves a funky coating in your mouth for sometime after eating them.

Overall, the Candy Stores communication and shipping was excellent. The product arrived four days after purchasing.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed an order with this company on February 4th. I received an email of the confirmation from my order on February 5th. I have never received my order. In the past 2 weeks I have sent them three separate emails because I have yet to receive the email that is supposed to let me know that my order has shipped. I actually called the phone number that they have and it only gives you the option to press one to get an operator or you can send an email. I pressed one and when you do that it takes you to a voicemail that basically goes nowhere. This is an awful company and they are scammers. They take your money and they don't send you your order ‼️
My Order #29412 means nothing to them!

Placed Order, Paid Money, Got Nothing

Placed order. They took my money. But never heard from them after that. Twice I contacted them via online customer service and got no response. Mutiple times I called and they never answer the phone. You might get lucky but their customer service is lousy and since they have your money there is no reason for them to care -- and they don't.

Sour Gummies Are Not Sour

I bought 4 different candies, one of which was sour gummy bears. They were covered with super sweet sugar only, no sourness. I tried about 4 various candies and they were all too sugary; I will be throwing away the rest of the 5-lb bag. What a waste. I wrote a bad review on their site and they won’t post it. Two stars because the rest of the candy was as expected, but I ordered mostly for the sour gummies. Very disappointing!

A COMPLETE SCAM!!!

A COMPLETE SCAM!!!! Stay away!!!!!!!
I am usually very careful about picking a store but I was in a rush for an event my company was holding.
I ordered something with a next day air shipping.
As I was expecting the shipment, I opened the tracking information and it said the order had been cancelled.
There was no notification of any sort.
Now I have to take my time to call my bank and dispute the charge.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

THIEVES AND LIARS

If I could give them a minus score I would.
They are now saying that I cancelled the order. I did not. And that still wouldn't entitle them to my money

I ordered 10 pounds of malt balls to…

I ordered 10 pounds of malt balls to use as cake decorations. The website image shows them with white candy coating and colored specks. All ten pounds have a dull grey coating with the malt center showing through. Some have big black specks in them and many are damaged.

I have sent three emails in the past week and no reply.

They are unusable.
