I’ve been with a few umbrella companies…
I’ve been with a few umbrella companies over the course of my interim journey.
Giant, on balance are the first who actively look after their off-payroll resource.
Whilst not perfect they fulfil their function as the go-between to enable workers to deliver their service to clients very well.

Giant group review
There were some communication issues, and the websites are very unclear with what they actually need. Some emails were contradictory, additionally the request for contact on the website does not work. The individuals I interacted with were very helpful, and once the information was sorted out, Nazmul Ahmed correctly filled out my information and was generally helpful.

Do not use, dishonest, unreliable do not provide important information.
The process with giant has shown them to be dishonest, the service is Unprofessional. You will be given different information from different people depending on who you are talking to. They told me they are unable to make reasonable adjustments when I requested the handbook being sent out via post and suggested I go somewhere and print it as I didn’t not ask got it before, no understanding. They make it the employees problem. They have not provided me with the information I needed from the start. The communication is rude and difficult. Please do not use them. Go with another umbrella company. I am suggesting the financial ombudsman looks into their conduct.

A helpline chat option that’s helpful
I found the help line chat people very helpful and guided me thru the system which if you are not using it every week can take a bit of time. When I had made an error they made the correction for me. 😊

I always got psid on time or was told if there was a problem. Communication was extremely good from Taryn Chapman.
Zoe Pritchard and Fardeen Syed were also very helpful in sorting out my SIPP (pension) contributions and tax liability.
The webaite was very useful and the payslips and P60 available when promised.
I worked for Giant for a number of years and had a very good, professional service from them.
