Very profesional, fast response and great devices

Ordered wrong part by accident. Spoke to one of the guys who was very helpful told him what i needed he said post back wrong one i ordered and he refund me and send me out the correct part i needed and didnt charge me for the part or for postage if only all businesses were like this. Very excellent service and will remain buying from them in future

I have 2 x Genevo "Max", both had some issues as the screens blurred, had "burn ins". Genevo offered me free repair, even if the devices were over the guaranteeperiod i assume. It took no time and i got the 2 devices back, free if charge. Great! Thanks a lot!

We don't really have issues with permanent built speed cameras, as if the authorities would dare to put one up. In the middle of the night a farmer or similar will come along and tear it out of the side of the road(they give up on that one). I live in Northern Ireland in south Armagh. Our issues is mobile speed vans which hide behind trees for an hour or two and quickly vacate because the locals now know where they are and bricks will soon come flying in that direction if they don't move. Is the Genova max worth buying?. I'm a Trucker and we keep getting done for being over 40 in single track roads..We are cash cows! Safety my A**.

There is no better brand than GENEVO.

I have been using their products for 4-5 years. I cannot count how many times GENEVO LT ONE PLUS M saved me from unmarked police cars.

They make the best radar detectors in EUROPE and nothing comes close to them.

The quality, reliability, and effectiveness are what make them the best!

En relación a Genevo España (distribuidor oficial). Adquirí in Genevo Max y tras 4 meses ni un sólo aviso a parte de los de la base de datos GPS. Pregunté específicamente en el foro oficial dos veces por el Velolaser y me confirmaron que funcionaba. Pués nada de nada, he pasado varias veces por delante y no detecta velolaser, ni sacándolo por la ventanilla a 20 metros. Contacté por e-mail para sustitución y devolución y tras unas vagas excusas y aclaraciones contradictorias con la información de su propio foro oficial dejaron de contestar lavándose las manos. No lo recomiendo. Rozando la publicidad engañosa o al menos una grave desinformación en cuanto a especificaciones. ***Update October 29th 2025. I went to genevo dor com website, added the genevo max to my cart and when you click to purchase it clearly warns you that you're being redirected to the official partner distributor, where I've been misinformed so that's why Trustpilot allows this review. You could have helped me when I contacted your distributor, you did nothing and now you talk about my "communication style"?. Of course you can help me. Refund me. You just flagged my review. You didn't even contacted me. Just trying to avoid people to waste 600€ but you can call it "communication style" if you want.

I bought a Genevo GPS+ as a gift for someone who didn't have a GPS phone to use in the car.

I have no complaints about the product: it's doing its job.

However, there are some issues that I consider serious.

Although it supports practically all of Europe, you can only choose between three languages: the voice output is useless for Italian speakers.

The second issue is that the database is only updated using a Windows PC! I consider this a major problem. First, because you have to unplug the device from the car every time and take it to where your PC is; second, because it requires you to have a Windows operating system.

The company offers to update the device for people like me who don't have Windows sending it to them, but the solution makes no sense: every month you have to separate yourself from the device for a week to update the database: impractical.

The third issue is that the database is updated for a year, after which you have to buy the update every month as it comes out. In this case, given the cost of the database, it's better to throw away the device, buy another one, and thus have another 12 months of support.

I had a small issue with a product, and the support team handled it quickly and professionally. They even sent me a replacement cable free of charge — twice! I really appreciate how helpful and understanding they were throughout the whole process.

Let’s cut the polite crap — I paid £750 for the Genevo Max, expecting it to detect mobile speed vans like a hawk on Red Bull.
What I got was a flashy box that doesn’t beep, chirp, fart or blink until I’m already about to get a letter from the DVLA and a 3-point slap on my licence.

Honestly, I think it only alerts you once the fine has been printed.
I tested it by actively breaking the law (for research purposes, obviously) — flying toward known fixed cameras and speed camera vans with Waze yelling its lungs out, while this overpriced brick sits there like it's in meditation.

The volume? Useless. You’d hear more from a sock puppet.


Mobile camera detection? About as reliable as weather forecasts.


Custom settings? Yeah, if you fancy reading War & Peace with buttons.

To be fair, it looks sleek. So if you want a £750 accessory to impress the back of your glovebox, this is the one. Otherwise, it’s just a digital placebo for paranoid speeders.

I’d get better alerts from a passenger with anxiety.

Just save your money and use Waze app as that works for every fixed camera anyway fact.

And works well for mobile speed vans, speed guns and police traps, well unless your the first to see it. Hence the purchase!!

I rang the company who supplied it, there uk dealer to confirm setting etc and was told its good to go out the box after speaking to them again to complain I got email for setting what I found a little strange, after I was told its good to use out of the box but still no improvement.

Plus point there Uk company was great and issued a full refund

Even told me yes its not good for mobile speed vans if it does pick one up it does not really give you enough time to slow down, you need to add an additional £1200 device to get any chance of protection from speed vans.

BUT IS THIS NOT THE ONLY REASON ANYONE WOULD EVEN BUY ONE, OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

Well I guess Possible in a 1980 fiesta with a billy big button cassette player it would be better than nothing i guess but I’m struggling to find who would find this device useful or any benefits over using it vs your smart phone in your 1980 fiesta and the smart phone louder.

In my option Geneva Max is a gadget outdated by modern free tech what make the product rendered useless.

Using Waze in my Ranger is far better.

Also in my bmw I use waze and also have bmw traffic camera from the bmw on-line store at a cost of £50 a yr direct to the cars head up display and audio system and both worked a lot more accurately than the Geneva Max

Very disappointing I was hoping for so so much more from the device and at £750 it should deliver the results they market the device to do

Possible I had a dud device with a fault and a broken speaker

I honestly expected so much more super disappointing

I’m tempted to by a different brand to compare just out of curiosity

All spanish points in thousands of kilometers, so far, detected. I've tried different brands, and it is the most reliable. Take care of your money. Thanks

I've sent them full list of stationary radars, with exact coordinats and with photos (to be more trusted) for Slovenia (where every week we find new radar box). They thank me - but they never updated their data base. My experience is that their data base for Slovenia is super poor. No improvement. No use if you get lifetime updates if there is none update for your county.
I used GENEVO ONE M. But got rid of it because so many false alerts on K band and poor data updates.
Additional information for Genevo:
I used to have radar detectors for like 25 years (Beltronics RXi int., some Cobra and Whistler, Escort Passport int. ESCORT Max Int. and GENEVO One M). Just to know I am experienced user.
I've delited my sent e-mails to you. I've sent at least 10 new loacations with photos and coordinates from google maps. You always answer and said thank you - but data base was never updated. Then I stopped to send you locations. In Slovenia you almost do not provide any proper data base for stationary radars. You have some old locations - like 10+ years old. And we have so much new ... Unfortunately, I've sold my Genevo One M and now I'm without it and - I admit, I miss it sometimes. My friend uses Genevo Max and he is satisfied. Maybe I will buy it in the future from second hand one for reduced price. I hope your new guy will send you locations for updating data base. Best regards to Genevo Team from Slovenia.

I broke my gen max and Genovo repaired it super fast and the whole process was smooth and reasonably priced 🙏

Had to have my detector repaired after my son tamperd with it,(although he wont admid it)
I sent it from Iceland to Genevo in Prag, the warranty was void but they sent it quickly repaired with minimum cost.
Very happy with the result. Thanks Genevo.

Products are top tier quality and customer support is excellent. I hope they design a radar detector specifically for motorcycle use that is waterproof and has an inbuilt Bluetooth connection.

Purchased a Genevo Max back when it was 1st released(2020), and it has saved me multiple times against Multaradar, multanova, and all the redflex stationary cameras.

Service always excellent with prompt quick replies and even after years of ownership, recently had to send unit back which was fixed within a few days and sent back to me free of charge!

Service was excellent and specially Kamil’s intructions were very good and easy to accomplish.

I recently bought a Genevo max and have made two long trips through France to the UK and one down into Spain and not a single flash! This will not only save you money (and maybe your licence) but it means you can spend all your time concentrating on the road and not looking for cameras thus making your driving safer. Great value for money.
