Despite leaving a 1 star review, next parcel was dumped by roadside
Despite leaving a 1 star review previously, parcel was yet again dumped at gates no where near the house, where anyone could have taken it. Suffice to say - any parcel that goes missing - I will hold GLS accountable (+ my time dealing with it) and a letter will go to the MD. This dumping of parcels will stop

I received an email this morning to say my parcel was out for delivery and received it a couple of hours later in perfect condition. And the gentleman closed the gate after him which is always a good sign!!!

Failed delivery. No fast follow up.
An empty envelope was handed to me. I returned it immediately to the driver and he told me the items would be delivered on Saturday. I have emailed and heard nothing and cannot make contact on the phone. I received an email saying the item was delivered. If I was not at home I could not have proved non delivery. As it was it was on a security camera.
I am not impressed. GLS have now managed to reply through trust pilot. Not via the phone number I left on their answer machine and not via the email I gave them. They appear to be requesting more info and telling me they have escalated my complaint. Just to add, the company that I was purchasing from have been brilliant. They are posting replacements immediately. That is real service.

I usually have good communication about package deliveries but got a mixed message this time. I received a message stating that my package could not be delivered on Thursday. I sent a note with the supporting details back to GLS, and the package got delivered Friday.
