I ordered plants from this seller and on arrival the plants were in a pretty poor condition. 3 plants squashed into a very narrow box the plants were bone dry, lots of roots coming out of bottom of pots, and half the height of plants were bare of foliage with pines falling off the rest as soon as you touch them. Nothing like what was advertised. Contacted company and told someone would be in touch to discuss within 3 days. As of yet no response from them. All you get is an automated bot .
I would never recommend this company due to poor quality of plants purchased, excessive delay times, packaging of plants and most of all lack of communication. Give them a wide berth

I am always happy with Gardening Express as there plants are reasonably priced and usually in good condition. The arrive quickly too

My husband ordered me a Monstera constellation last September and the state it was in was shocking it looked as if it was kicked around the warehouse 2 leaves, all rest were broken, tried to get refund and they looked at photos and said plant was fine, it most certainly was not!

Dreadfully bad! Weeks go by and no communication. Lost my order. Have a chat line, and it takes a week to get a response. What a dreadful company

Great communication, especially informing there may be a slight delay because of the heat wave. Glad they did not ship during the hottest time.
Plants were healthy, with flowers and lots of buds.
They were securely packaged, arriving undamaged.
Will definitely use again.

I placed a good sized order over a month ago. 3 weeks later only 3 boxes out 5 arrived and were a bit bashed about and some plants had been packed sideways !! so were not in the best of states. I complained about missing boxes and state of those actually delivered to the virtual assistant on their website, I was assured that this would be dealt with within 3 working days.

I did get an email from Tabitha in customer services on the day of delivery saying that DHL had returned 2 boxes so they had obviously been severely damaged. I was asked if I wanted replacements and emailed back immediately requesting replacements.

It is now 8 working days since the short delivery. I have emailed Tabitha in customer services and complained to the virtual assistant on a regular basis and as yet I have not had a single reply or notification of what is happening.

Customer service is absolutely appalling. It is not possible to phone them and apparently they do not do call backs so it is impossible to speak to a human.

I cannot recommend using this company, there are many others in the market place so use them instead of these.

They have sent the wrong product 3 times. Replacement exchange was quick the first time, but took months the second time. Just discovered the 3rd error as it's the first time the plant have reached maturity & bloomed.
Lost so much time.
Great marketing & website, but operationally the business does not appear to be well run.

Order number #701273032 delivered on 26 Aug. Very poor plants even at their fake discounts.

The Acer Palmatum Filigree is not a Filigree at all but this sickly yellowing plant is just a plain Dissectum.

The Acer Palmatum Butterfly is in poor condition, delivered in a crushed pot to boot.

The Acer Palmatum Firecracker is nothing like a £80 plant...even at a discount it is small given pot size though the length criteria is met which is easy with acers.

Excellent. Always use them.

Nice plants but, the packaging left much to be desired. All plants had been shaken out of their pots. A fair amount of damage.
Other than than I can’t fault the price. Might have included more of a variety of colours though .

I bought 20 english lavenders and they were in 5 litre pots - these plants were amazing although the one star drop in rating is purely because some pots had cracked on delivery but thats more likely a carrier issue than GE. Im now addicted to this website

This company is a middle man for Nurseries getting rid of excess stock, and that means you are never sure what you are really getting and how long it will take to arrive. Some items take a month or more. Then when you try and reach out to the company to complain, you get an AI bot and no response for well over the time they say they will take. So yes, great prices, but that comes with poor customer service, not that they guarantee, and slow delivery with mixed quality products.

Ordering was easy. The plants arrived in excellent condition, really good quality,well packaged and timely. I've had no cause for complaint. Really good prices as well,with many offers

Ordered four large plants they arrived three days late in tall boxes the boxes were damaged when opened the boxes the plants were stuffed in the stems were broken. The leaves-were dead. As if they’ve not been water for a long time the plant pot was squashed. All four of the plants were almost dead trying to get in touch with this company is impossible or you speak to is a chat line you say you’re complete will be dealt with in three days three weeks still no response. I would not order any plans for this company. All they do is take your money, no respect for the customer.

First time using this company. They keep you updated, re dispatch and estimated delivery.. Company stated that due to the excessive heat we were experiencing, they delay some deliveries!!.
My plants were securely packed, on receipt.. Unfortunately they traveled during the 30 degree plus heatwave .. On receipt they were showing signs of severe heat stress.. It is now 9days later, & they are just showing signs of improvement.. I am hoping they will recover,& next year will be bigger and healthier plants..🤞🤞
