WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered a cake stand in April which has broken after minimal use. I contacted Guzzini's "Customer Care" in early December. They are anything but caring. Or interested.
Rather than take responsibility for the problem, Customer Care keeps referring to their "Laboratory" as the responsible department and that it is them "that deals with these cases". Sadly, I'm unable to contact their laboratory directly. So 39 days later I am still waiting for so-called Customer Care to respond properly to this complaint. I don't hold out much hope of getting a meaningful response.
EDIT - after much more chasing Guzzini eventually resolved the issue by sending a replacement. But this was a painful and unnecessary experience.
The worst customer service I've ever seen. I have been trying to place an order for a month and without success. When I was trying to complete an order, the following message constantly appeared: "Please check the shipping address information". Just in case, I will explain: I have ten years of experience in online shopping on such platforms as Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, Luisa Via Roma, Mytheresa, Coggles, FARFETCH, SSENSE, Shopbop and never had such problems with placing an order. Elena from the customer service, to whom I wrote about this problem, replied that I chose Ireland as the delivery country instead of Russia. Apparently she thought I was an idiot. The next time, she simply replied laconically that there were no problems on the site with delivery to Russia. She is absolutely not competent and not customer-oriented. All her answers are formal. Apart from these two messages she didn't offer any help or ask if I was able to place an order. It is not clear why she receives a salary at all. Unfortunately, I have not been able to communicate with anyone else. I would have thought that this was an isolated incident and I was just unlucky with Elena. But it is significant that all my comments on Instagram Fratelliguzzini remained unanswered. Utter silence and disregard. Apparently Guzzini have so many clients that don't needs extra ones. Guzzini is absolutely not interested in clients.
I have ordered from this company on a few occasions but I would warn anyone from the UK not to buy from them, however lovely the products look!
We placed an order in early August, the order arrived promptly but one item was damaged. It took 3 weeks of chasing to get any response, and even now, 6 week later they have only offered me a token refund. I paid over £20 for shipping and £10 VAT and they are refusing to refund any of this unless I pay to return the whole order to them. Dreadful customer service!
