Flashfish 200W Power Station
I purchased a Flashfish 200W Power Station on Amazon in September 2023. It failed after only three uses during Hurricane Helene—the AC plug stopped working entirely. What followed was over two months of frustrating delays, ignored emails, and unfulfilled promises from their support team. Here's the timeline of how they strung me along:
On June 12, 2025, I emailed them for the third time about the issue. Taylor responded the same day, asking for photos and promising they could send a new one.
June 13: I sent the photos right away.
They ignored me for 2 days until June 15, when Taylor changed course and told me to fill out a warranty form instead.
July 3: I completed the form and asked for a timeline—no response.
July 4: They sent an automated "feedback received" email, but nothing substantive.
July 6: Frustrated, I emailed their info address with a full summary and attachments.
They ignored that for 11 days until July 17, when they asked for a clearer photo of the serial number (even though I'd already provided one).
July 17: I sent the clearer photo the same day.
July 18: They responded quickly, but now demanded a video of the failure and more clarification on the AC plug.
July 26: I sent the video link, expressing my growing frustration with the process.
They ignored me again for 20 days, despite my follow-up emails on July 30, August 4, and August 14 asking for updates.
Finally, on August 15, they claimed it was out of warranty (purchased almost two years ago, but it failed well within that period) and offered only a $30 refund if I bought a new power station from them. This after Taylor explicitly promised a replacement in June!
This experience was deceptive and unprofessional. I jumped through every hoop—photos, forms, clearer photos, videos—only to be left with no real resolution. Avoid Flashfish if you value reliable support during emergencies.
