terrible company to buy from
terrible company to buy from, fortunately I noticed they charge 300% more on freight that Australia Post who they use. Their staff get rude and try to justify their prices when queried. DO NOT DEAL WITH.
Originally Fobbed off by Fiskars customer service but now sorted
I approached Fiskars customer service via email about a broken tree pruner, and was fobbed off with "it's wear and tear" It is most definitely not wear and tear so I have launched a warranty claim, but I'm concerned by some of the comments on Trustpilot regarding warranty claims with Fiskars, and very disappointed by the increased claims processing time of 6-7 weeks. I'll keep my fingers crossed and will post an update on Trustpilot about how the claim is going.
8/12/25 I have an update to my comments above. Much to my surprise (based on other comments on Trustpilot) Fiskars did agree to send me a replacement Tree Pruner only a week or two after making an official warranty claim and following up with another email to Customer Services. I received the new Tree Pruner on 12/11/25, a lot sooner than the 6-7 weeks they quote for warranty claims to be dealt with, so fair play to Fiskars.
Digging and Cultivating tool
I was given a tool called Digging and Cultivating which had a pointed tip and a serrated side. I was very happy to get this, but when I went to trim some perennials with the knife edge, it barely would cut anything over a quarter inch around in diameter. It is quite dull and I’m very disappointed. I thought it would saw through a lot of my perennials. Although the pointed tip does a nice job on digging out weeds in the garden, but still not what I expected😢🙂
The 28" splitting axe model 7559
The 28" splitting axe model 7559, I purchased is supposed to have a lifetime warranty. During some heavy use, the head broke off. I contacted Fiskars warranty...no phone number.. only an email form. Their page said 6-7 weeks to get back to a response. I sent followup emails to my original request August 7, 2025. No response as of Oct 10, 2025. This experience suggests DON'T count on the warranty having merit.

I doubt that I’ll ever buy a Fiskars tool again. I emailed seeking simply a nut and bolt. They said that it would take 7 weeks for a response. Do they only have one person working there? Or are they overwhelmed because their products fail?

Kitchen Devils are dangerous knives
Fiskars purchased the Kitchen Devil Brand of knives.
They used to have equally serrated sides, now they have different profiles, reulting in a curving of the knife when cutting in the kitchen. This is very dangerous as I cut myself on a previous one. I hope I had purchased a different style today, but no change. Be very careful

Trying to purchase a replacement spring…
Trying to purchase a replacement spring which has come off my pole tree pruner. Unable to contact Fiskars except for two ignored emails - tried two local stockists including B&Q and Dobies, neither carry spares. Suggested I contact Fiskars directly. Ha Bloody Ha!
Moral of the story..... Don't buy a Fiskars tool or you will probably regret it.
I'd rather use my teeth
A seemingly once reputable company hoodwinking customers with poorly designed and made cheap junk.
P341 bypass pruner jams, shuts itself on its poorly placed, poorly designed locking mechanism, the spring isn't strong enough to do the job it's there to do. There in no way in this universe they'd get anywhere near their claim of a 20mm max cut. They mostly tap out at under 10mm. The amount of time I've wasted with this offensive useless tool is vast. No, they do not jet the job done. Gnawing on stems with my molars would be preferable to whipping out a pair of Fiskars.
Fiskars Does Not Honor Warranty…
Fiskars Does Not Honor Warranty eventhought it clearly stated Life Time Warranty....Horrible Customer Service...they Don't respond to email and phone calls.
Faulty scissors, pitiful customer service
Our creative company uses many pairs of scissors. We purchased a pair of large Fiskars scissors 2 months ago which were faulty. We returned them to Fishers with proof of delivery, however Fiskars pitiful customer service do not respond to email, have questioned whether we actually sent back the scissors despite providing tracking and proof of delivery. Still no refund or replacement
Do Not Honor Warranty
Fiskars come with a great warranty, they just don’t honor it! I guess they do, if you want to go to the expense of shipping the defective item back, keeping the receipt and many other things they wanted me to “jump through hoops for”.

Very poor customer service and I'm very upset this experience with Fiskars. Totally disgusted!

This product has design flaw the plastic eject always breaks problem with Fiskars is the LIFETIME WARRANTY means only 1 replacement even though their design guarantees it will break again and then you are out of luck
Will never purchase another Fiskars product
I have purchased three of their tools because I liked the lifetime warranty. I am used to the Snap-on tool warrany of the no questions asked, no recipt, NO BULL SHIT. I purchased the pitch fork that broke after only a few times using it, and really didn't take much effort to break it. I do not abuse my tools and are kept inside when not being used. I was kinda ticked it broke with minimal effort AND in semi loose soil. For the price, I was not impressed in the least. If I was to make a comparison to what I am used to, Snap-on, the Fiskars is like a China knock off, that broke a year after purchase. Home Depot will not exchange it, usually means the manufactuer started making exchanges difficult. You have to send pictures of the broken tool, ok no problem, and also reciept. I keep all reciepts for tools being a master auto tech and business owner. We all know what happens with reciepts that are laser printed, turn black, white or get lost or missed placed. Mine got missed placed, which means no replacement. I tossed it out and purchased the competition replacement. This replacement with a wooden handle has out shined the Fiskars by a long shot. I WILL NEVER purchace annother Fiscars product ever again.
Worst customer service I have ever…

Untrustworthy company -Avoid
Blade on extendable pole trimmer broke, contacted Fiskars phone and email, not in the slightest bit interested, only contact was to send me ,amazon info to buy a new one , this tool was sold with a long guarantee, which obviously they will NOT honour, be aware they have NO Regard for you ,once purchased , one woman on switch board ,no complaints dept, / no parts dept .. this cost over £100 ! will not use again.please be AWARE

Staff Creative Studios (Former Employee) - Barlaston - 11 October 2024
I thought that I was being employed to work in a fair pay environment. Not so.
Fiskars do not have a fair pay wage for employees working in the Creative Studios.
I have a creative BA degree, and am a VL lecturer in a great UK university.....but found myself working alongside BA creative degree graduates and MA creative degree graduates. All paid on minimum wage. Fiskars are still on the slavery trail. How dare they dish out the anti-slavery badges.
At my interview, I was lead to believe that there were more opportunities to bring your own ideas and classes to the table. That did not happen.
A typical day at work was physically exhaustive. The young ones constantly 'dodged' any physical jobs, preferring to sit on the computer.
I learnt from my interview not to beleive any anything my interviewee told me.
Overall the management was micro managed, my immediate manager however was fair and sympathetic.
The culture of Wedgwood is biased towards the office staff.
The most enjoyable part of the job was that I was teaching people how to throw and decorate pots. And walking 8K steps a day.

AS OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE STATED, THERE ARE NO HUMANS TO TALK TO. CORRESPONDENCE WILL GO UNANSWERED FOR WEEKS.
FISKARS IS TRYING TO RID ITSELF OF "LIFETIME WARRANTY" CLAIMS, VIA ITS DELIBERATE USE OF OBNOXIOUS OBSTACLES.
