My original review was not very complementary. Our RF522W is seven years old but has broken down four times in so many years. Irod, the technician, was excellent but it took a week for the right part to be delievered and for him to be able to fix our fridge. When he was here I explained the four call outs in four years and how I thought it was unusual for what is supposed to be a high quality product. I phoned up customer services while he was here and they told me that unfortunately there was "no goodwill recompense" for what is quite an unusual number of breakdowns. I was disappointed, but Irod saved the day. He realised I wasn't taking the company for a ride, I'm genuinely disappointed to have a fridge that's failed so often when the company has such a good name. But still all's well that ends well, we got the broken down part for free and I have withdrawn my one star review. Goodwill does matter.

Fantastic service from a dedicated F and P technician , Adam .
I had a fault with my fridge , used the straightforward on line booking form to request a repair . Appointment booked and was able to request an earlier visit if a cancellation occurred . Adam contacted me to say he did have a cancellation and was able to come a full week ahead .
Being a dedicated F and P technician, knew exactly what the fault was , carried the spare part and fixed it there and then .
Brilliant service , dealing with real people not AI , all sorted within 48 hours .
Old fashioned customer service is still possible!

Appointment easily booked via the website. Adam, the engineer assigned, provided updates on his ETA and arrived promptly. He was very efficient and knowledgeable regarding our fridge freezer; answering my questions including confirming when our warranty ran until. An excellent service all round.

Jiy was our engineer, he called ahead before arrival. He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained what he needed to do and the cost. Proceeded to carry out the work quickly and politely. The call out charge is not cheap but we’ve always had good service. Thanks

Superb back up service from Fisher Paykel. Fast response, quick turnaround to arrange an Engineer visit and a simple issue of ice buildup sorted out immediately.. Jiy arrived on time, quickly discovered the issue and sorted it out on the spot. Outstanding service.
