Scammed
I rarely provide a negative review, but my experience with purchasing a Geberit toilet has been extremely frustrating. I placed an order online, received an order confirmation of payment and order number. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I emailed the company requesting an update. There response was:
“Accounts have looked into this, and it seems payment never went through, so no order was placed, hence no invoice.
The item you require is out of stock, only white is currently available with a 2-day delivery schedule. This is our lowest price at present we can offer.”
Completely bypassing the fact that I had provided a screen shot of the confirmation and order number. And instead telling me I’d need to place a new order at a higher price. Realistically, it appears they did not process the order and are trying to call it something else.
I then attempted to call, but was met with the same response that they did not process the payment and it’s not their policy to notify customers of cancelled orders. And just said I’d have to place a new order at the higher price. Complete scam and lack of reasonable order processing. Just like uber drivers cancelling rides to get a hirer price. And Zero attempt to rectify the problem and completely ignored the fact I had a confirmation of order.
