Horrible experience
Horrible experience, after announcing that they are closing our accounts and that "no reason whatsoever will be given", which was a deadly blow to our online business, 3 months later, they continue to debit our accounts (although they asked us to empty them so they already have a 0 or so balance) and now they send us email that they cannot debit their monthly fee and we own them money.
The monthly service fee for XXXX will be collected from your account, Sterling Account ending in XXX, on 17/12/2025. A total of £20.00 will be debited from your account, which includes the outstanding service fee.

Very time consuming onboarding and slow progressing transactions. Froze my account for a week for no reason. Avoid!
They are not bank but they steal money…
They are not bank but they steal money by taking monthly fees.. also if you request any of their security documentation they have no clue of what we are asking. For example, they company is not even ISO certified.
Took all my money
I thought this a good business initially. And unlike others, it was fairly straightforward to open it. But then they massively increased fees (20p to £10 per month) which makes them totally uncompetitive to other offerings. And when I tried to close the account, it refused to let me withdraw funds. So much promise, and a great start. But then, sadly, downhill from then on. A great shame really.
Trying to open an account
Well...sad to say but 12 days to try to open an account is beyond belief!! and still not...no news since a while except question asked one per one, as I sent all the required documentation all in one.I have serious doubt against the professionalism of such....bank!beyond the joke!
The worst is with all the negative review,, there is no return from them...seems like they don't give a damn!
Slow responses and slow to deal with issues
So, Used this company for awhile and apart from transfers only processed twice a day it wasn't too bad. Until recently, so there was a few issues with the account, I was happy for the account closure to which they said any Lodgements received would be sent straight back to the sender. My benefits was paid in yesterday and they still haven't sent it back to sender! They are aware of the this and send they will send it back as soon as possible??? No time frame??? Days between responses!! I have a child to care for and no money! How they can do this I don't know. So I'll continue to email, I've already reported to the financial ombudsman so I'll update this review with the outcome. Wouldn't recommend as when things go wrong they aren't bothered at all!

We had not booked at table for 4, the waitress Abigain quickly found us a table. Service was quick and correct. We left the Fire Station by 18:56.

Avoid wasting your time
Avoid wasting your time. Took them 1 month to review our application and ask us thousands documents. Although we said our website is not ready , forcing me to have at least one landing page and at the end of the day , they said due to risk of your business we are not able to offer you an account.
We are distributors of well branded UK suppliers and work with our suppliers more than 7 years. Why on the earth buying from suppliers and distribution could have the risk . We didn't ask for any kind of credit or loan or over draft . It's just a simple business bank account. By reading other bussiness reviews am glad that we didn't used your bank as it seems to me you are a total scam .
Avoid at all cost

I am totally fine to have reviews or whatsoever, but as i manage a business i have taxes, supplier, employees to pay.
They asked me to provide invoices, contracts,delivery proofs ( i was excpecting DNA also .... ) and that was provided in less than 24H.
Since June 8TH ( we are now on 26 ) they dont answer emails, calls. And ihave money stuck there.
I will ask the HM Revenue to talk with them if they want to get paid. And say to my employees to go sleep and eat at Fire Bank because money is there and they obviously dont care and dont do their job.
In conclusion : Avoid at all cost

Unbelievable customer service!
In an age of 'new' banks and financial apps, Fire is a rare thing indeed - one that delivers the 'tech' stuff but hasn't lost the humanity! Phenomenal service and customer care, and can not recommend more highly!
Excellent multi currency bank account
Fire is the best business bank account I have, in terms of ease of use, clarity of the online banking site and excellent customer service. I have emailed their support team a couple of times and had replies, literally within minutes. Monthly statements are presented clearly. National and international transfers are easy.
