Shipping costs for defective return not refunded!
I ordered a pair of quality riding boots to be sent to New Zealand, On the second time putting them on, the zip popped, They have all the paperwork to send them back which is great, BUT! freight from Germany to NZ was NZD$53 the cost to send them back was NZD$135! I queried if they would refund me this cost and was told yes once they received the shipping docs and costs.
This did not happen, I got the refund for the boots but I am still chasing the return shipping costs!
This is a real put off for buying from MC-Moto moving forward!!

The customer service provided…
The customer service provided misleading information regarding the shipment of my order. I was informed that the package had already been shipped and that cancellation was therefore not possible, despite the delivery being delayed by more than a week.
One week prior to the shipping label being created, I explicitly asked about the status of my order and was told that all items were in stock and that they were “awaiting shipment.” This information later proved to be inaccurate.
Overall, the communication was misleading and gave the impression that customers are expected to simply accept incorrect information rather than being provided with transparent and accurate updates.
I rather pay more money elsewhere and be provided real and trustworthy information rather than this.

I have shop with FC moto on four…
I have shopped with FC moto on four occasions and each time the service has been excellent. Prompt dispatch and delivery. I even returned some items as the size by manufacturer was incorrect, not FC moto fault. The customer service was very helpful and returns were painless and refunded quickly. They also have great prices and occasional extra discount when other suppliers don’t. I will definitely shop with them again for motorcycle gear on my motorcycle adventures in Ireland.

An Excellent Company
I have made two relatively large purchases in the last month and the transaction has gone very smoothly both times. I have reviewed delivery just as fast (or faster) than a purchase made in my home country of Canada AND, even with all the extra charges (shipping, duty, brokerage etc) it has ended up been at least 10% CHEAPER in both cases. The ONLY downside I can think of is that, if you ever have to return something, it will probably be much more complicated that a local purchase. Other than that, if you know exactly what you want and get the sizing of garments right, you really can't go wrong. HIGHLY recommended!

FC Moto claims to ship to south africa. Taxes and Duties for Motorcycle gear in SA is suppose to be 0%. However after the purchase paying taxes and duties the helmet is more expensive if local sourced in South Africa. Dont was your time for the wait rather buy local.

These guys are just awesome
These guys are just awesome, for such a big company it's great that you can always get someone on the phone. They are not the fastest at getting back on email but they are usually very competent and ready to help. Returns are the best, €9 DHL discount RMA label on the site, then they refund you as soon as the item hits the return warehouse so you are not waiting weeks for the funds. Just a great service all round and a pleasure to buy from, highly recommend plus I have not seen cheaper anywhere else, and I am buying bike gear for many years now. (I really hope they never use AI for CS in the future)

Watch for the vat and import duty
Item arrived but was the wrong size so returned it. Because there is no exchange policy the procedure is to purchase another. I took a refund but have been unable to claim back my vat and import duty £150. Fc moto were no help at all offered no assistance. When vat and duty are added its no cheaper than buying in the uk. Dont get caught out a d be left out of pocket. A helpful guide of how to claim would help. Wont use again
