I have made several orders from them. One of my 4 in 1 cherry trees didn't make it. Called them and got credit that day. All my other trees look great. I will continue to order from them.

I ordered a scarlet fire dogwood tree on May 18th; it was delivered late on June 3rd by Fedex, which had ripped a huge hole in the box and smashed the root ball, I packed the dirt around the root ball again, and immediately watered the tree because it was drooping. I then took a very close look at the leaves and realized that I had been sent a dogwood with a fungal infection. Now I originally contacted the company by phone to talk to them about the Fedex issue and they gave me a 15% discount without me asking for it. The next day when I realized that the tree had a fungal infection, I took numerous pictures and contacted the company again through chat with the photographs. I was told to scratch the trunk and see what color was underneath. It was green. This is the response I received from FastGrowingTrees customer service: "After a careful review of your submission, your plant does still appear to be alive. While it may not look its best right now, signs like some browning, drooping, or leaf loss can often be part of a temporary stress response—especially after transplanting or exposure to changes in temperature, light, or watering routines." in a nutshell ,I am expected to treat this fungal infection. This is not the type of customer service I expect when spending about $200 for a tree. I expect to be sent a healthy tree that could be suffering a little bit of shock, not a tree that I'm going to have to treat. I also wanted to let them know that their nursery had sent out a sick tree because they might want to follow up on that and not have a repeat situation with another customer. I wish Trustpilot allowed for photographs.
Also, this is not the first time Fedex has destroyed a plant, but it will be the last time I order from FastGrowingTrees.com.

After spending considerable time researching privacy trees for our landscaping project, we chose Fast Growing Trees because of its excellent selection and strong reputation. We planned to purchase 14 Thuja Green Giant Arborvitaes during a two-for-one promotion, but unfortunately experienced issues during checkout and were unable to complete our order.
When we returned the next day, the promotion had ended, and we were understandably disappointed. Hoping for assistance, we contacted Fast Growing Trees’ customer service team and that’s when we had the pleasure of speaking with Lisa.
Lisa was exceptional from the very beginning. She was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the best solution. She took the time to understand our project, carefully explained our options, and worked diligently to ensure we could move forward with confidence. Not only did she help us complete our order, but she also found an even better value than we had anticipated.
Outstanding customer service can be hard to find, which made Lisa’s dedication all the more impressive. She transformed what could have been a frustrating experience into one that left us feeling valued, appreciated, and excited about our purchase.
We are incredibly grateful for Lisa’s professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. She is a tremendous asset to Fast Growing Trees and a wonderful representative of the company’s values.
Thank you, Lisa, for going above and beyond. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful arborvitaes for years to come and highly recommend Fast Growing Trees to anyone seeking quality products backed by exceptional customer service.

Healthy trees, shipping, and packing were amazing. I bought roughly about 15 trees all came on time as expected. I had a problem with one tree, but customer service representative was very knowledgeable, helpful and solved the issue.

Received an apple tree from Fast Growing Trees. I am really disappointed by the condition of the tree. It had broken branches and many dead leaves. Whoever packed the shipment had to be aware of the dead leaves and condition of the tree. We have planted the tree and will try to save it. As of yet I have not heard from the company. The tree was $162. and I did hear from the company that refunded 20% of the cost which was $26.99. They asked that I give the tree 30 days to hopefully recover. At least it was something.

Not at all like pictured on the website. Bloodgood Maple arrived as a 5 foot tree as advertised. BUT the first 3 feet was bare truck with two feet of wispy branches with leaves indicating poor light conditions. The tree was obviously trained to grow tall without regard for the overall health of the tree.

BOGO Bait & Switch! I ordered two wisteria trees, and was charged for two, plus shipping. The trees were Buy One, Get one. I received two trees, one of which was barely alive and died. I guess we know it was more Buy One, get a Dead One!
I initially complained about the short and wondered if there was another box coming. Customer service completely blew me off, basically telling me "oh well." NEVER again buy from them! AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEIR SHODDY PRODUCT!

Second review. First was not published. Very disappointed. Plant arrived 2 months late and damaged. Had to trim off most of dead leaves. When I submitted a request to replace customer serviced replied “ received your e-mail and a representative will get back to to you”. They never did. I sent picture of all dead leaves. Still no reply. Judging from other reviews I am not only customer complaining. Very poor product and service. BBB complaint to be filed unless issue resolved quickly.

I inadvertently killed two of the plants that were sent to me. Went through the website I had a credit for one and a brand new one being shipped to me within 3 hours. Customer service is awesome. I would absolutely buy from them again.

A+! All of my plants I’ve gotten are thriving 3 years later. In separate orders I had two small issues and both were resolved with ease! I highly recommend FGT!

In placing an order I chose the wrong plant. After calling customer services I was disappointed that returns are not available due to control measures they have for keeping there plants safe and healthy. Customer service offered a one time courtesy credit so I could get the plants I needed. One couldn’t ask for a better resolution to the situation. Just make sure you check your order prior to completing.

I used to love this company. I have bought over a dozen shrubs and trees from them in the past. I had heard that they had changed and had gone downhill in customer service and plant quality. I didn't believe it until this order. I ordered a tree and two Japanese tri-colored dappled willows. The tree came 3 weeks ago and was perfect. Next, on April 28, I got a message saying that they wouldn't be shipping the dappled willows until June 15. No big deal. Then I had something happen and need surgery on my foot on June 10. I called and asked if they could expedite the shrubs so I could get them in the ground before my surgery. I was told no. No way to do that, sorry. The next day, I went hunting for a couple locally and found two really nice ones so I bought them and put them in the ground the same day. That was two days ago. It was too late to call them and cancel my order. Yesterday, I called at 9 a.m. on the dot and was told that they had just shipped the shrubs. These plants get very big and I didn't need two more and would be hard pressed to find places for these two now that I'd planted my own already. I spent over 3 hours off and on on hold, only to be told that it was too late and that "the team" that ships plants was off for the weekend and wouldn't be back until Monday. I asked FedEx if they could send it back and was told that the order being cancelled and sent back needed to come from the shipper, not the recipient. Meanwhile, I opted for texting, and learned that you text and get a wrong or incomplete or unrelated answer after 3 or more hours of waiting for your question to be answered. So, in the end, the plants came today along with emails from fast growing trees.com about plant care, and who to contact with any problems, etc. Two emails asking me "how'd we do?" How'd you do? TERRIBLE X 10! You wasted my time, took my money and then, to add insult to injury, you sent me the first ever sub-par plants. The tallest one had two of its branches barely making it to 26 inches tall, all the rest at 15 inches or so. They cost 67.59 each with shipping! The two I bought locally are 36-38 inches tall, are flowering, and only cost me $49 each. Here is what I texted back to them:
For future reference, someone at your company should be able to make a phone call and stop a shipment before it leaves.
I have now spoken or texted with four different representatives, and every one of them has either made excuses or repeated a company policy. The bottom line is that customers like me are what keep your company in business—not FedEx, not the grower. Customers are the reason your company exists. The fact that you are open for business on weekends, yet apparently no one has the authority or ability to pick up a phone, identify themselves as the shipper, and request that a package be returned before delivery is both absurd and a poor way to conduct business.
Instead of helping solve a simple problem, your company has chosen to waste my time while hiding behind policies. I was once a strong advocate of your company and regularly recommended you to others. Going forward, that will no longer be the case.
Based on this experience, I will be discouraging others from doing business with your company.
My longtime business with you is now over and done. You really need to rethink your procedural rules and processes.
I can't see anyone wanting to continue to shop with your company with your strong no returns policy when they cannot see examine what they're buying. I did because it worked for me in the past. This time was a wake-up call about how far your customer service has fallen.

They shipped two potted trees in one box. One of the trees was placed upside down. First, it got damaged heavily by the weight of the soil and also it lost lots of soil during the transport due to being upside down. So the root had barely any soil when it came, but the top was very damaged. The other tree in the box looks good, but my fuji apple will most likely not survive.
Also, they do not publish negative reviews on her website.

I'm honestly very disappointed. I ordered a 2qt. bushel and berry raspberry shortcake. It came yesterday with most of the plant dead and barely any soil in the container. Not just that, but it was shipped in a box that was meant for a medium sized tree when the plant itself is only a few inches tall including the container. It's a disappointment that this plant was $60.00. $40 for the plant and $20 for shipping. Stark Bros has the same plant, for $19.99 and was shipped healthier and happier. I wanted to give this company a chance and wanted to buy a plant I had a hard time finding elsewhere, but for the price and the condition of the plant, I would no longer shop here again. I honestly wanted a refund but the customer service agent processed a replacement. I will be contacting my bank and disputing the charge in the meantime. I am not happy and do not want a replacement; I just want my money back.

I placed an order for two blueberry bushes. One of the varieties has too long chill hours for my area, so i requested to exchange the variety with a different one. I contacted them on Saturday. My order had not shipped. When I contacted customer support, I was told my order was shipping on Monday but no adjustments could be made and the order could not be cancelled. That is the customer service you receive from this company. They would rather send a customer a non compatible species then process a cancellation or even an exchange for an order that hasn't even shipped. They don't care about their customers, or plant's health they care about their bottom line.

Regrettably, we purchased trees and plants from “fast growing trees” within two years for several hundred dollars. This year, we tried to get a replacement for a Prairie Expedition Elm that had been struggling. Hoping that the tree would eventually thrive as expected, the time since the purchase had gone by very fast, and we did not realize that the 12 months warranty had expired about one month ago.
After consulting with that company, we were informed that there was no way for them to honor their warranty since that period had expired, but they would be willing to help us in any way. We are realizing that this is in no way meant genuinely, a little flexibility could have been the most reasonable support. Enforcement of a warranty is understandable if such time has been exceeded by several months. However, if an expiration is only exceeded by a few weeks, a well meaning business would still honor it.
We also find this company to be very unethical since their pricing and advertising is misleading. Prices are highly inflated, just to make customers believe in getting a “great deal” by fake discounts.
We discourage you from buying from this company, support your local and honest nurseries that will appreciate your business instead!
