From the outset, everything was explained very well. The initial visit was friendly and great advice was given.
Communication was great, and there was always someone to contact.

Wooden frames with encapsulated designs
The results look really good. The staff are friendly. The installation went smoothly and swiftly with remarkably little mess, especially given this was in November. Getting to that point though was a long slow process.
It was a major undertaking: door and surround, bay window, kitchen window, hall window and landing window, all in wood rather than UPVC encapsulating original leaded lights in double glazed units.
Communication could have been better, particularly concerning the estimate and the subcontractors. I had to step into the office regularly to chase things up.
The backlog at the frame makers held up the project by months although that was outside Fairview's control. I let unlucky when the lock on a twelve year old UPVC window went too and the staff member lined up for the repair was hospitalised.
I am particularly pleased with how well the bay matches the upstairs windows, also in wood with encapsulated designs, Fairview had done such a good job on years earlier. Back then, but alas no longer, they made wooden frames in-house. I think I even preferred them. The wrong handles were fitted on my new windows initially but they were replaced with those agreed within a fortnight.

Excellent from start to finish
Communication is really good. Easy to get hold of customer service and they’re really helpful. Everyone is really knowledgable from the initial salesman who came out to give a quote to the fitter. Work was completed to a high standard, quicker than expected and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Overall I’m extremely happy with the work completed.

Mixed experience but happy with the final outcome
Our first impression of Fairview Windows was really good. After meeting their sales team twice, we decided to go ahead with them to remove an old conservatory base and replace our small French doors with larger bifolds.
The installation team were hardworking despite terrible weather conditions and initially we were pleased with the job. Unfortunately though, we noticed scratches on the glass after the job was completed. We raised this with the Installations Manager, but we were quite disappointed by his defensive and aggressive response. We also had to chase up the building regs sign-off over several months, which was really frustrating.
In the end we escalated our concerns to the Managing Director, Chris. He couldn’t have handled it better — he came out to meet us, listened carefully, understood exactly what had gone wrong, and personally made sure everything was put right. His communication and customer care were excellent, and we’re now finally able to enjoy our kitchen!
If it hadn’t been for the poor customer service received after installation, this could easily have been a 5-star review. That said, things can go wrong — what really matters is how they’re dealt with. Chris completely restored our faith in Fairview Windows, and we respect the way he took ownership and got everything sorted.

Fantastic service
Just wouldn’t buy from anyone else. Communication is great from start to finish. We chose a Rock Door which looks absolutely fantastic and we are very pleased with it. I wish I could remember the name of the young man who fitted it for us. He was polite, respected our home, a clean worker and made a fabulous job of fitting our new door and surrounding facade. We received a 10 year warranty and will eventually receive a Fensa certificate on completion. I recommend Fairview Windows to everyone who tells me they are thinking of replacement doors and windows. Great experience from beginning to end. All really lovely people from Martin who priced up for us to the surveyor and the fitters. We love our windows and new French doors. We haven't had all the windows done so we will be going back to get some more ordered soon. The pricing was good, we did get various other quotes. The pay in 6 month option also helped when selecting this company over others. The fitters did an amazing job at keeping everything clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fairview Windows.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
On approach Fairview was excellent, the sales team were great, quotations & surveying was as it should be. The workmanship was excellent & we had no problems with any of the skilled workmen that visited our property. The build started on 2nd June 2025 with excitement and was planned to take around 6-8 weeks. It then started to unfold sadly, there were delays with people taking time off delaying each stage. Smaller jobs took ages to conclude. The communications & updates were very poor. We had to push for updates & progress all the time, we sent an e-mail of complaint/frustration but received no reply from the company which was poor & unprofessional. The build finally completed 4 months later on 2nd October 2025.. We had windows fitted previously and everything was great, we had a new front door fitted which was excellent but the extension experience has not lived up to our expectations which is a shame given all the business & recommendations we have sent their way.
