This company feels like a complete…

This company feels like a complete scam. What I was told and shown is not what I actually received. I deeply regret purchasing my hosting and domain with this company. When I try to contact customer service, all I get are unhelpful AI responses — they don’t answer the questions I ask. I am extremely disappointed with Exabytes and regret ever buying from them.

The pricing for domains and hosting is…

The pricing for domains and hosting is not competitive compared to industry peers. The hosting is not fully optimized for WordPress websites, resulting in noticeably slower website speeds compared to competitors. This is a clear disadvantage for SEO optimization. On the positive side, the platform supports purchasing country-specific domains (e.g., .sg, .my, and .id) in one place, eliminating the need to buy regional domains across different platforms.

costs and disruptions far outweigh

This company frequently performs unexpected maintenance, making support difficult and unreliable. There are constant downtimes with various issues, and they provide no notice, no warning, and no compensation. I strongly advise against using this company, even though their services are cheap. The operational costs and disruptions far outweigh any savings.

Not Excellent Anymore (From Old Customer)

I used Exabytes service since year 2007. I bought more than 5 domains, used different types of services including dedicated server, cloud server, share hosting and etc. Their service was excellent before. However I found strange behaviour in their hosting after having many domains. Sometimes a domain's DNS not editable due to some strange reasons. They seems not yet willing to fix this system bugs. Now the support not as good as before. Maybe many customers nowadays? They still willing to solve the problem but the response sometimes slower and the technical skills not as good as 10 years ago in average.

Feel Like Being Scammed!

Feel Like Being Scammed!
I suspected lots of paid or fake reviews here.
Purchased a domain last week, after payment made, then only able to create an account. I was stuck with 2FA, where there was a problem with their system.
it was so frustrating where chatbot kept on sharing me guides on how to do 2FA. I have indicated in the emails that I have been using Google authenticator & Duo for few years. My issue was not how to use it. Yet they still treated me like I do not know how to use 2FA.
Issue finally was resolved after I called in to Customer Care. I was able to pass 2FA & was advised to save my passcode for future verification.
Second time I logged when I purchased hosting. After payment done, I was supposed to be routed back to the Exabyte's page. I was asked to do verification again, which is fine.
But suddenly, I couldn't log in & message shown was i keyed in wrong passcode. I was denied the access & sent email to reset password.
Password reset, and when it comes to second verification, it was stated that wrong passcode.
How stupid is the system. As digital transformation enabler, this service provider really sucks!!
Since there is a '100 day Return Policy' I would like to request for full refund.

really frustrating service

really frustrating service. they make you change your password but dont tell you what the password requirements are, when it should be clear since its website security. instead you have to keep on guessing. managed to get through to the customer service via whatsapp, but i dont think she has any idea, coz she keeps on giving either half of the info or the wrong info. i really think most that give 5 star to their service, must be bots or their own people. really really bad service.

Useless online support who does not know anything

The online chat support are pretty much useless when it comes to technical support. they're just receptionist who does not know anything and only knows how to redirect traffic. When they have no resource to direct the traffic, they ask you to send email wait till the technical team comes back from their long break.

The actual technical support doesn't seem to work on weekends within office hours. Talking about having a live site with people of different timezone using your site. You will be in for a massive headache when crap happens.
