There used to be authentication problems, but Bending Spoons appears to have fixed that :) I need Linux support, and they don't have that. If I switch to something else, that'll probably be why... See more

No effective support unless you like ieffective bots
had. aproblem signig into account. Was forced to create new one. Only support was a bot online who was unhelful. I tried all items it sent and it did not work. I was promised a human person to help days later leaving me lock out of critical information. that never happned. If you like OVERPAYING for a company with NO EFFECTIVE SUPPORT. then buy it. If not, look elsewhere
Longtime user - glad to be a user
Evernote has been a valuable contributor to my daily means of organising mywork and my personal life and has been so for the past 15 years. It's recent conversion to AI for many of its features have actually improved the app's functionality -- that doesn't happen very often!
App taking very long to start
The app and web app are very slow to start. When I want to take a quick note, I have to wait 7–10 seconds for the app and notetaking page to load, when it should take three seconds at most!

Since Bending Spoons took over I've been impressed with the improvements, started a little rough with the transition but they made up for it with amount of improvements.

I really enjoy using the full-text search and am delighted at how easily I can find documents I’ve filed away, even years later

I love Evernote and have used it for a long time. It is such a convenient place to store a variety of info that I can access from my computer or my phone.
ok but too expensive
Stop AI...AUto....PLS... image Auto capture
1. I have been an Evernote user for more than 10 years. Here is what I have felt over the years.
2. I have tried several times to switch to other tools, but I stopped every time. The reason was simple: my data. I had no real choice but to stay.
3. Please focus on the core features.
* Stop adding unnecessary features. If Evernote is a note-taking app, please focus on being a good note-taking app.
* AI, image transcription, paragraph editing, and so on — these are not what I need.
* I started using Evernote because of the image capture feature, and even now I use that feature for about 90% of my work. But the automatic capture function is ruining everything.
* In the early versions, image capture worked well and produced high-resolution results. But in later versions, Evernote started adding AI-related features, and now images get cropped incorrectly, the resolution is terrible, and the app has become painfully slow.
This is honestly the worst image capture experience I have ever had.
4. Please make Evernote work like a real note-taking tool again by reducing it to its essential functions.
* Stop automatically changing paragraphs.
* Stop automatically formatting sections.
* Stop automatically adding numbering.
* The most frustrating thing is that Evernote changes paragraph numbering and formatting on its own. Please stop automatically converting characters like “-” or “>” into bullet points or paragraph symbols. Just leave my input exactly as I typed it. Please.
Power user for over a decade here
It's hard to believe, but I've been using Evernote for almost 16 years now. I'm messed around with other services like Notion or Google Notebook but for flexibility, ease of use and sheer variety of abilities, nothing comes close. Scanning receipts for my coffee shop, collating captions and images for content, collating notes on clients and storing audio clips about music I'm working on are just some of the ways I use it.
You can drag and drop images, quickly find anything and it works on multiple platforms. Highly recommended, especially now that it has new owners who are revitalizing and upgrading it all the time.
Accessing Evernote is always difficult
Accessing Evernote is always difficult. I wonder why I pay for it.
Simple and powerful
Honestly this tool is quite simple but able to cover a lot of needs both for daily routine and for long-term projects.
Evernote is my go to noting taking app
Evernote is my go to noting taking app. I have thousands of notes that scan business to pleasure. All in one place. Easily Searchable. The best
It's easy being green
I've been a daily user of Evernote Professional since 2014. It's perfect for helping manage my ADHD brain and the new AI features are like having a personal assistant.
Too expensive for what it's offering
Too expensive for what it's offering. The quality of updates is just as expected for a company this size (in terms of its userbase population) but they may be too "small and frequent" for some. Occasional minor bugs but these are normally bearable. Price kept increasing by more than 2-3 times per year which is quite unreasonable for the average consumer (even myself as an avid note-taker). Too much use of AI including the customer support and feature request section which is not commendable.
I can use it on my PC, my phone and my tablet
I can use it on my PC, my phone and my tablet. I like the way I can assign shortcuts to notes I use often. I find tables are hard to use, and when imported from Word they are almost uneditable. But overall, I don't know what I would do without my friendly elephant.
Avid, but angry Evernote user
I am an avid Evernote user and have been for 20 years. This review hurts to write it. Since Evernote has been purchased by Bending Spoons and to some extent a little before, Evernote has been steadily and aggressively raising its prices to the point that I am desperate to leave but have not done so yet. At first it was subtle increases every year, then larger increases annually and for the last few years their strategy is to discontinue whatever plan you are on and only allow renewal on a new "improved" plan that is 30-50% more expensive. It is incredibly frustrating and deceitful. I have gone from paying $28/yr to $299/yr over the last 5 years. IMHO, that is completely ridiculous and they do not seem to care at all about loyalty or what is reasonable. They make a ton of enhancements/updates, which is nice, and the product is good but stop killing your customers with drastic increases. At some point that cannot be the answer. I think there are other packages that do the same, I just have to spend the time converting 20 years of notes to another package. It is a shame as I was a true believer and always sung the Evernote praises but cannot anymore.
The sidebar and all my notes…
The sidebar and all my notes disappeared. This has happened a few times. No clue. It took Claude to suggest to me that if I dragged the window to extreme size from the left all the missing information would reappear. Ridiculous. Plus you MUST make it possible to print SELECTED TEXT from a note, rather than having to print the ENTIRE NOTE.
